Your slicks were air’d up too much lol they should have been 8-10 psi. Even with the bad prep 2nd gear would have hooked better and maybe clicked off a 1.8 60ft

I can’t say how much I’ve enjoyed Evan’s videos over the years, more than what can be said. One of my favorite videos is when you and your dad both struggled to take off the twin turbos on the SC300. Still miss the Subaru too🥲. Love you Evan, changed my life.

When I had my d16's; a spare trans, axles and a clutch disc were all packed in tote with tools when I would go.
You gotta slip the clutch on them torqueless_wonders to launch em good.

2 you should do preload lunches make sure the car is at rpm that it likes during lunches

I just rolled my hatch that has a f20b with a fully built head and a Hondata s300 black top ecu a lot of other stuff but I cracked the trans case when I rolled not to mention broke my ribs and punctured my lung but I almost have the engine ready to pull out 😂

What ecu are you running? I have a all motor b18 and just got haltec installed by Jarvis. He has this car tuned in amazing. I’m slowly getting it where I want it. I still drive it to work on weekends to beat up on v8 guys at a 60 roll

Tire pressure was way to high you need to be around 7.5 to 9 psi but otherwise sick runs man would love to build my Del Sol and come out to play also a D series (D16Z6 here)

You should add more weight to the front of the car. Along with lowering your psi on the slicks

I’m planning on moving to Dallas or surrounding area, sometime by the end of this year or beginning of next year like before February. I literally don’t know anyone, have any friends, or family that live out there, everyone lives on the east coast. But I’m doing the move to make a completely fresh start where I don’t know anyone really. So when I move out there, would you be one of my first friends out there? Maybe help me meet some new people? I’m into the bike scene more but I still love the car scene. A car ive always wanted to build is a civic. I just got rid of my 9th gen SI to buy my current 09 Silverado LT with 5.3. That’s gonna get a Procharger and slammed on a 4"6" or 5"7" drop kit. Make it into a track truck/drift truck. But in all seriousness, when I move out there, would tou be willing to help me out and meet some new people, car meets, etc? I’m honestly scared to move to a new city, and by myself at that with no connections. If not, I completely understand, I’m just some random guy about to hit 30 years old, online asking someone I’ve never met before and someone that makes content on UA-cam lol. And I really don’t care about UA-cam or becoming popular, or whatever. I’m more of a low key guy anyway lol. Shit you could be a millionaire and It honestly wouldn’t change anything. I’ll still treat you like I treat everyone else, as a normal person lol

I have a 96’ EK Hatch, and I do about 400whp. My wildest gear is third gear. Best thing you can do is “let it rip” in third. Parts will last longer and it grips up better 😅
