Love the series/concept. IMO, to quit early, you also need to stockpile enough food and clothing repair for 500 days. You need to survive the 500 days to keep Frankie fed, and that means food and clothing.
Yeah I agree. Getting enough cloth and hides/guts shouldn't be an issue, and technically I could live on starvation rations, estimated at a piece of bear meat per night. Would probably need to kill about 10 bears to stockpile enough. I think actually gathering the insane amount of firewood required is still going to be by far the grindiest part.
