Happened to me. Was with ex for 6 years. Gave her time to improve, told her what I needed, kept flipping the table on me and said I was the issue, so she broke up with me. I healed, went back to dating, met a new woman who met my standards, married within 8 months and we are still together. It’s been 2 years of marriage and kids are now on the way.

Good show, mature conversation finally! There were a few generalizations; however, the conversation didn't go down the typical rabbit hole of the blame game. I disagree with Rico on this point...it starts at home, no policy is going to save people who aren't willing to save themselves.
The more I watch the podcast, the more I realize i need a woman like Erin in my life. Every women in the panel is beautiful but beautiful can only go so far in today's day and age. Amanda is turning into the typical modern woman and Tamara is showing her insecurities by being on a time schedule. Erin on the other hand, is grounded, calm collected and a lot more feminine

These conversations are always slightly funny...because men and women think differently. We're supposed to think differently. It's designed that way. These podcasts are us arguing back & forth about things that are simply perspective based. I do agree that if we listen, we'll get further- and not agree- but listen.

He's never met men that actually want to be married. Thats sad so he can't say that there aren't men out here looking to get married. Four of my male cousins (brothers) grew up in a religious household with two parents. Three were married. One was about to propose to his girlfriend on a family cruise but unfortunately he died suddenly in his sleep a few months before the trip. The youngest brother ended up divorced because his wife's single friends convinced her she had married too young and missed out on alot eventhough she had children, a nice home, a career and a good husband. He let her go and be single and three years later he remarried. He and his wife travel all over the world. They opened a couple businesses together too. His ex wife's life has gone downhill in a bad way......There are men out there looking for wives. And how the older woman explained about how in other cultures men are more drawn to marriage is true. They just have a different mindset.

First you would have to talk length time you ex has been successful dating someone else. Second I’d have to agree if people keep breaking up with you for valid reasons it’s only correct to self reflect and decide who you want to be. But tbh single at 35. I wish you the best. The fact is before you marry a woman , you have to see her family dynamics. Don't be surprised if you end up divorced if she comes from a single parent household its not a written in stone but very very likely. Ya'll have been using this excuse since the 80's. Its a tired excuse at this point. Its 2023. I know plenty of women that raised kids mostly on their own, have a home, have a good job or their own business and who have never been on assistance but can't get their children's father to keep up his child support. I know plenty in that situation.
