It’s like having a someone from outside ur perspective give u feedback Because when you are stressed out about a deadline you aren’t as resourceful.

I have the cards and use them fairly often to enhance the creative process when completly stuck for 'what could come next'. Not only musically but with other aspects of potential monotony. Brian is inspirational in so many ways and turned me on to synths. Coming from a percussion background this was vaguely disconcerting. The cards helped the transitions and metamorphosis. In synthesizer sound one moves away from the familiar, in that, 'conventional' instruments have been around for hundreds, if not thousands, of years and produce a rather formulaic sound with which we are all au fait. In synthesised sound the landscape has endless possibilities. Brian's cards encapsulate these possibilities.

I’ve been stumped by house renovation plans. Had a dream last night that Brian, my musical bedrock for 40+ years, helped me on the build. Woke up feeling like I’ve turned a corner after weeks of bitter frustration and now I just need to get a set of those cards. Thanks again Brian!

I have been very lucky as I discovered Eno's cards when I was 17 years old. Still taking inspiration from the wise use of the deck....and furtherly opened my mind in creating other cards for my personal use.

As a composer myself, it's easy to get into that rut. I sometimes have to force myself to explore the sound possibilities on my keyboards and VST instruments. Percussion and rhythm editing is an erea where I definitely could explore more, for example. I'm grateful for Brian's explanations on his technique.

I like this, that when you are under pressure you forget your best ideas; the panic pushes away your observations and you're not really paying attention to what is going on. I feel better now, because I experienced this when having a test in Philosophy (my career and art, along with poetry). I have my own vision, values and justifications, but I was kind of dissociating and forgot most of it, so it seem like I didn't know a shit.
