You forgot very important things , is a two different types of the silver key some of them got one battery and same got two battery. Looks everything the same but you can fit the electric stuff inside.

Me too and unless I'm doing something wrong, the new fob's insides don't come out like they do in the original key. Only the cover for 1 battery pops open on the blank side. I ordered the key fob as per the link above.. Help???

There should be a Recall on Mercedes Keys, what piles of Crap!!! Good for you Panzer though! This helps people and that's great! Too bad Mercedes employees aren't thinking as well as you.
Note: a light wipe of non-conductive silicone dielectric grease(using gloves) will protect the circuit board and allow the install to be easier
