I have a 2001 C200 WHITE.. Looks like grandads car... I don;t get up it much but have surprised a few young guys at the lights at times... Be interested to know if this went harder after you removed the baffle...

I believe someone must've installed aftermarket ones in my cls55. They weren't cracking/old/dirty/etc at all. Just simply LEAKING. I had done the job before on my e55, but this time they were fairly new. Even the air chambers in each valve cover didn't need RTV resealing. Just valve cover gaskets which I ofc get from FCP (total of about $40 when purchasing them individually without any kit, about $20 each. Just have to make sure to get the different part numbers as each side is different)

Hi, I try to connect an Android radio upgrade from a NTG1 COMAND APS (SLK R171 2005) with optical fiber + Harman Kardon amplifier. Same wiring connected as explained into your video + optical fiber adapter & CAN bus adapter has been connected too + 2 wires CAN-H & CAN-H have been connected as you proposed to do. Current status: - Firstly, when the key contact is switched-on, important sound peaks are presents at the beginning of the init phase of the new Android radio, - Secondly, when the new radio is switched-on a little sound is permanently present into the speakers without choosing any music menu, - Thirdly Bluetooth function is OK with my Iphone for 2 min and disconnect after and impossible to reconnect without switching-off the car. Questions: Other wire to connect like amplifier command, reverse signal not connected for the moment, or other suggestions?

Hai spiegato molto bene i passaggi per arrivare alla pompa e ai pistoni , ma è un lavoro che serve solo per rispristinale il livello dell'olio nella pompa , e non per la riparazione dei pistoni idraulici .Voi Americani per riparare i pistoni li smontate completamente e li rimettete revisionati , qui da noi si riparano senza smontarli dalla pompa , cambiando semplicemente l'anello di tenuta in poliuretano , in pochi minuti con una spesa di pochi euro e senza smontare i sedili . Il pannello dietro i sedili si smonta solo se la perdita di olio è stata massiccia , altrimenti non è necessaria .

Great stuff here! I was watching your steering wheel install. Please tell me how you connected your aftermarket head unit so that the controls on the steering wheel operate your radio. I have one of those Android head units. I could not determine what canbus wires I needed to connect to use my steering wheel controls. My steering wheel is the factory wheel.

Hello, thanks for the great video. I am currently replacing my fuel pump and filter to my SLK 200. I'm having an issue reconnecting the sender plug which is located at the bottom of the black box that houses the pump. Could you please advise the easiest way raise the box to gain access to connect the plug. Much appreciated.Thanks, Kelvin

Hey Panzer , i recently bought a fuel filter fot my SLK 55 amg R171 2005 , just as yours , but it aint OEM , i think its chinese , the part where the connector is supposed to go is sealed in mine , in contrast with the oem one. Any suggestion of what can i do ?

Because I have taken out the Eaton and changed oil and now I look on this silencer. what happens to your compressor after years? still going good? hope you have time to answer. I will do it this weekend. What do you recommend for cranking only the engine until the oil pressure push the new tensioner in place? Greetings from Sweden. You forgot very important things , is a two different types of the silver key some of them got one battery and same got two battery. Looks everything the same but you can fit the electric stuff inside.

Quick question 🤔 could the radio be rebooting because I used cig lighter for constant and accessory. Why can't I use the og constant and ground? Are you sure it will drain battery I did away with fiber got 2 amps now new door speakers and all canbus works but I do have to solve this rebooting thing. Xtron thinks it's canbus I don't because canbus seems to be working idk what do you think
