Great video and informative too! I will be in the market for a new machine in the next 12-18 months. I had a KTM 200 previous and moved to a 300 a number of years ago. I love it but love the liveliness of the 250.
i started about 4\5 months and i bought a 300 exc , its from 93' a absolute beast of a bike , but also its heavy hahaha 120kg but very powerfull bike i holeshot 3rd gear and still manage to get good speed against friends with motocross bikes , not always ahahahah
Yes. Add 1-2 teeth to the rear, back out the clickers, HD Tubes or Tubeliss, skid plate, and giver. It won't be as plush or have quite the torque of a TE/XCW but for fun/moderate tech, they are great fun.
Enjoyable video! Thanks You may find it helpful to google rotating mass in regards to motorcycle engines. This is the main reason the 250 feels as though it handles differently from the 300

Just bought a 2024 KTM 250xc
I’ve had so many bikes and the 250XC in the new TBI motor is insanely good. Incredible bottom end and such smooth power
Great video, thanks. I have a EXC 200 and love it. Cheers from Brasil

Id recommend a lifan 150
Kp mini on dirt tires.
They pull but pricey at 2.5k
I sold mine and regret it
Can a ktm sx 150 be used for enduro/trail riding??

for next riding season should i switch to a newer 250 2t from a 250 2t or to a 300 2t? i don't think I fully mastered the 250s yet
For me the 200cc is the sweet spot.
Great video! Is the 150 you are riding a carb or TBI? Thank you
Enjoyable video! Thanks

I'm on a enduroifed YZ250 2 stroke which I really enjoy and prefer to both the 300 exc and 300xc 🤝🏻
The force you feel depends on mass and speed of rotating parts. So 250 ridden at higher rpm vs lugging a 300 at lower rpm is not that different.
@@rehepekshave you ridden a 250 and a 300?
Very interesting. How about the 450 and the 500? It would be interesting to hear your perspective on those as well. Thanks.
And about 2 and 4 strokes?
Night and day. A 300 2stroke feels like a bicycle compared to a 350 4stroke
@@rehepeks Are you referring to size of the bike? 4 strokes are much heavier i imagine, but less low rev boost
Debating on buying a 150 sx or the 250 sx. I'm 200lbs so I'm not sure.
Go 300
@@fattie2550 Had a 300 before, didn't like it. Unless I get to try a newer one I'd only get a 250 or 150.
@@MountainMXOfficial try a new 300
Hated the voice over
