Nice video and it’s true enduro is a gentleman’s sport and more of a social gathering than mx. can’t wait for the next video of you back in your natural habitat. 🌲🌳🗻
Haven’t checked into your channel for a while, but watched this vid as it popped up, are you still not Reving that bloody 2t lol! Maybe stick to road riding haha I think the plug is a hint 😂
I was there last Sunday when you were. First time on a track for 35 years! First session, utter shite! By the end I was kinda getting the hang of it. The video doesn't do justice as to how deep the ruts were!
Keep going to that track and by the 15th time u go you'll be as good as that guy on the kawi, and yes the bike does matter, a 250 4t or 450 is perfect for those tracks. Keep up the good work mate
250 2 stroke is way better than a 250F. More torque and also more horsepower than a 250F at any RPM. 450s are good for big ass bulldozer tracks, and thats it. Horrible for everything else. 300 2 strokes have the exact same torque and horsepower, but are lighter and dont stall/overheat all the time in yhe woods like gay 450s do.
@@sciencemilitia1853 I agree, but I've riddin my yz250fx plenty of times in the woods and done enduro and it hasn't over heated to much, only a few times. A 450 is still a lot better then a enduro 300 on a mx or flat track like the one in the video, but a yz250 or 250sx would also be very good on a flat track or mx track too
@@liamwilson1948 The YZ250FX is an incredible bike all around. Absolutely do not recommend a normal 250f based on your experience with that thing. Those particular bikes are different. Thats the only 4 stroke bike that I'd recommend to own at all. Most 250Fs have absolutely no balls, and dont even handle as good as a 250 2T. 95% of 250Fs are fucking gay unless you're comparing them to the tiniest and most outdated 2T ever, ehich is 125s
@@sciencemilitia1853 I use to have a yz250f and I didn't like to coz I ran out of power to often, so I got a yz250fx for trails and enduro, and got a kx450 for mx
You should check out the one MX track here in South Africa, Joburg called Dirt Bronco. There's a few vid here on UA-cam. That's quite a fast track and depending on what time of the year you ride it it's either a little dry or totally soggy.
have you ridden a 4 stroke? i was always a two stroke rider and i love their noise full pinned at 200 million rpm lol, mainly for me it was what was affordable at the time. i dont care what anyone says the 2 bangers ruled the early mx years. but yeah for me lets say i was able to afford a 1990 250cc. i cant think of any 250cc 4 stroke that would thrash around as fast and as nimble at that time. then stuff like the YZ426 hit the scene and from that day on 4 strokes have just become incredible machines. but yeah looking back on it i wish i had something like a WR450F for trail riding and camping with buddies, the KTM 380 MXC i had just ripped ya arms out and it made bush riding hard, that thing was on the back wheel when it sounded like it was bogging down hahahaha
God I’m so jealous rn, I had to sell my last dirt bike after me and my wife (girlfriend at the time) got our first apartment 16 years ago to pay the bills and haven’t gotten another one since, we ended up having 2 kids and just never seem to have the $ for a dad toy. Ugh I still miss it so much the smell, the wind the riding the wheelies the jumps the freedom.
Do everything you can to get one and make it happen. You only live once and it’s not even for very long. Once you get that into your head, you’ll realise…….life is about memories and making them.
So I got a question everyone. I'm looking for an enduro bike myself. Ktm, or husky only really. I already had 2 yamaha bikes and want a new color. Bike kind of bike should I be looking into getting?
How are you liking your ketch suspension. Really considering it for my 23 300 xcw. Tbt is popular in my area and I can’t decide. Can you give some insight ? Thanks
Only slow riders foul plugs, the fast riders never foul a plug. I had a Suzuki RM465 for 8 years and never fould a plug one time, as long as you ride it hard and use the main part of the powerband all the time you will never foul a plug.
@@MidWestMX That is one downfall with some 2 strokes, if you lug them around you can foul a plug once in a while. Just keep the revs up, run a lower gear if you need to, that should get around the plug fouling problem. I never had that problem because I always rode at higher rpm's, I was a little crazy, and I liked to roost people, lol.
We are the same. I love the idea of motocross but being 32 its just not the time to learn. I loved my time at the track here but hitting jumps is still a long way away.
I'm 50 and have just started riding motocross tracks with jumps. I feel it is going to compliment my enduro rides. Just started clearing the tabletops so hope to step up to actual gaps soon.
this reminds me that when i did motorcross dad was teaching me to wheelie and i watched some videos of enduro stuff and this guy hit a jump and that made me feel that i couldnt do a wheelie cause i could jump and land better than a 30 year old
Worth it? It depends on your budget mate. If its 500 eur and you have 1000 eur I would say its not worth it. If you have 50.000 eur do it. But it all comes down to personal preference. We dont know you or what you demand from a bike :-)
@@sund5 Thanks for the advice. I was just wondering whether these exhaust pipes give any extra power? I’m not really looking for a full on racing bike, I just wanted to see whether I could get a bit more power.
