    This Sir, is by FAR the most clear, detailed, professional looking instructional video on Flight Simulator I have ever seen. If more people used this video as a standard, the world would be a better place. You explained things clear and concise, and I am very grateful you took the time to record, edit, and publish this amazing video!

    Sir, I hope you're still here, and all is well with you. I just wanted to say that this is the BEST FSX GPS tutorial I've seen. And I've seen PLENTY. I'm saving this on my computer, and I will refer to it often. Thank you so much for posting this. Take care...

      Hello - yes I am still here ! Thankyou for your comments - that video was produced a long time ago - good to know folks like you are still finding it useful. I now have moved on the latest FS and that is quite amazing - but for family health reasons I have yet to get to grips with its technicalities. I hope to get back to it soon. Thanks again for your valued comments - RCS

      I have not made the jump to the new FS, mainly because I don't feel that my current computer can do it justice. Besides, FSX is still a good sim, IMHO. Anyway, take care...@@TTFlier

    Great video. What I tend to do on finals is switch to NAV mode and hit APPR and the aircraft will utilize the glidepath of the ILS and guide the aircraft all the way in.

    Good video except I could not hear your information because of the high volume of the planes engines. i would recommend not
    having much engine sound as it was distracting. I would have made the Garmin 500 larger so one could see it better. Thanks
    for taking the time to go over the flight information on the video.

    Beautiful landing! I really appreciate your teaching as you made it very clear what you were doing. I still wonder about that altitude of 3000 feet as I thought you would be making adjustments instead of the glide slope doing it. Thank you!!

    Excellent demonstration. I will be referring my students to your video. Too bad about the plane drowning out some of your audio. I reduce that by recording my narration onto a separate audio recorder, then mixing both in Camtasia while reducing the background plane noise. (I use a field ZOOM handy recorder). But still was legible and very informative. Thank you.

    Thanks for this video! I have a question: In the 2d cockpit when I'm in the air also on low altitude I can't see the terrain. Shift + Enter doesn't help. Ho did you fix that?

    • @tttravelvideos558
      @tttravelvideos558  4 роки тому +1

      Hello Albert - glad you found the video and hope it helps. As for the VIEW OF THE TERRAIN - you can alter the SEAT HEIGHT (which in effect alters the view over the nose of the aircraft. - In 2D view press CTRL/Q or SHIF/CTRL/Q to adjust the view UP or DOWN - Press and HOLD the keys and you will see the view adjust one way or the other. In 3D view use SHIFT/ENTER or SHIFT/BACKSPACE to achieve the same result - HOLD the keys once again. Hope that helps.

    Hi ttt, you just taught me how to use GPS, had some small knowledge of how to use it but you gave lots more info. When you do a flight plan and your close to the airport you have to get info on what runway you are going to land on, is that the right way. thanks.

    • @TTFlier
      @TTFlier Рік тому

      Glad you found it of help. YES, you create a flight plan with your preferred landinv runway BUT if you are using the ATC system then ATC will allocate you a runway as you get close to the airport - so you MAY need to change your final approach - OR request a change of runway to your preferred one. IF YOU ARE NOT USING ATC then you can fly your route as originally planned. Hope that helps.

    Nice tutorial. I will refer to it again. Cockpit engine noise is ridiculous and for sure I will turn it down if I fly that model. At 37:30 the engine noise is so bad I quit watching as I cannot hear you talking.
