Thanks for the upload! Having overheat trouble on my 86 GT and gearing up for a water pump replacement. Hoping that’s my issue, not the head gasket has new thermostat and flushed the 4 core radiator. Still no luck. Hoping this solves my issue!
did you notice your harmonic balancer is toast? the rubber is coming out and you can see it wobbling when the engine is running. You need to replace that ASAP
that sludge is gelled up coolant from sitting. Flush out the system. Also you should always use thread sealant on the bolts that go into the water passages and anti sieze on the bolts. Those water pump bolts always break off other wise.

great video👍🏼
Thanks for sharing the process. I’ve gotta upgrade the cooling hoses on my 1988 GT and I’m thinking of replacing the water pump as well.
Great job on documenting the water pump replacement. There's always one bolt that makes a one hour job turn in to 3 or 4.
Thanks man. It's hard squeezing 4 hrs of work into 10 to 15 minutes or so of vid time.
@@yellowfoxbodyguy I know totally what you mean. Took me about 2 weeks to install my headers then fit it into a 12 minute video.
@@yellowfoxbodyguy thanks for the sub...I appreciate it!
Just mention you’re a fox body guy they’ll prolly laugh atcha hahahahahaha
