I get them from many places, either local Facebook yardsale pages for duck, goose, and chicken eggs and sometimes depending on where you live like me I have an emu farm close by. Other than that there are places online like brackenridge farms, golden egg of Idaho, the eggers place, metzer farms just to name a few
I will either draw them or use free clip art and print them and glue them on the egg. I have a book called Egg Carving for Beginners available on Amazon that shares all the information and hot to glue your patterns on etc. i am so have an group called Egg Carving and Etching on Facebook feel free to join us
