Hi Katy, I'm learning to carve egg. I have already have the Dremel flex tool, I wonder if the turbo carver burs would be compatible with Dremel?

Tien Truong no unfortunately they are not. The dremel uses 1/8 inch and my turbo carver uses 1/16 inch.

can you tell me, how do you get the decal off? and wash it up, and all the bits out from inside?

I did explain this in the video, soak the egg in bleach to kill the membrane and it also takes the pattern off. I am not sure why you would have bits inside the egg unless you are talking about the tiny egg pieces. If they are small enough, they will come out of the holes when you wash it out, that is why you cut your big pieces that you are wanting cut out into smaller pieces so they will come out of the holes.

Katy, Is the pattern you used in this video plain paper or something else?

@@NancyECox plain paper I think it was either that or vellum but plain paper works better than vellum

@@katywilson4123 this is so helpful. My mom taught me to do eggs and used the carbon paper/transfer paper option to put patterns on.. Such a pain. Lol

What’s the name of the brand you weren’t happy with?

The scented bleaches don’t work as well and the splash less ones are more gel like so I am not a fan of them either they just don’t work as well as regular old fashioned bleach
