That low-poly forest could be useful for some rapid prototyping, even if you don't plan on using the art style for your project. I am doing that with some low-poly town/building models to help with layout for my own town project.
I'm laughing evilly as you say "this asset may not be as useful as the others" in regards to the low poly pack because that is exactly the art style of my game!!

Only thing I've ever used the very low poly stuff for is placeholding. If I need a mock-up forest or houses just to see how things look, the low poly stuff is good in a pinch.

Sadly, it almost always required a pass through Unreal Engine. It's actually a requirement of the EULA for both Unreal and Unity that marketplace assets can only be downloaded directly within the engine.
This or similar kind of village architecture was also used in parts of Belarus, Ukraine and Poland in the past, generations ago, mainly in rural areas and in the old cities suburbs. Though no one is building like that anymore, and it's getting harder to find these houses in decent shape, as they are mostly either abandoned/derelict/destroyed or rebuilt with newer architecture and materials, with different looks.

It would be good to do a giveaway on one big asset, like the most expensive and best rated RPG system something with modern and old combat systems, or two.

I love how everyone uses Unreal and Epic every once in a while for their free stuff even if they don't use it lol
I love collecting assets for games I'll never make 🤗
Well, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
And by the time you actually want to make a game, these assets will be deprecated. 🤣🤣

The writing on the slavic house says "Selling"
Ah.. Thanks. Was expecting something... Less mature.
Which language?
@@badipaddress it's russian language

With all of these put together, you can make a Slavic life-based The Sims clone.

The graffiti says "for sale". The van is called "bukhanka" bdw😊
Thanks. I wondered if the vehicle was a real one or just a generic implementation

1:40 the graffiti reads "For sale" in Russian
Upd. Ah someone already pointed that out
Thanks for the video btw!
No its Greek and says PRO ∆
For training facility
Someone: "I'm glad we have transportation, parked right outside our house!"
GFS: "broken down old van"
Even though I don't use them I still enjoy keeping them.
The snowy environment pack really reminds me of Resident Evil Village. Gonna be a very good starting point for a RE 8 fan game/artwork.
2:13 the sign "Бар бабьи слёзы" means "Bar Women's Tear" or similar in Russian and Belarusian, and "Bar Baby Tears" in Bashkir.
why your videos comes first when i search free assets lol. well explained thank you
Nice! The Ue marketplace is such a blessing, i use those assets in Unity
I just wanted to thank you man! :)
Uhm... Heroes of Might and Magic is a DOS game from the early 90s. It is nothing like this. I think you mean Baldur's Gate 3.
You attached the Sep video in your October article.
Damn it.... I swear I don't start these posts from copying last months article.... I pinkie swear! ;)
Thanks, link has been fixed.
merry christmas!
it says "on sale"
yeah !
ПРОДАЮ it's mean selling in russian.
Thanks.

can these be used in blender also?
Yup if you're smart enough you can convert them back to fbx
@@raevod6361 nice but the problem is i am not smart enough
You should be careful with some of the human characters from the turnbased RPG pack, they are made by Epic and only allowed to be used in Unreal.

How to download free assets?

Why slavic though? Its clearly russian. And Russia is diverse and big federation that consists of many ethnicties, not just slavic.
That's the name of the asset, don't give it more thoughts.

IMO, the main reason for the name might be that the author of the asset pack tried to avoid bad associations with the modern day russia.

Stuttering video?
I hadn't noticed at first, but you're right
I think you mean Might and Magic. Heros of Might and Magic was more of a boardgame style TBS.
Nope heroes of might and magic. New HoMM is on the way. This was one of my fav series going all the way back to the original King's Bounty.
First!
"Free Assets" what is not free.
What do you mean?
