I cant believe we still have yet to get a proper fully vr mech combat game like another steel battalion. I can only imagine how cool it would be to take these cramped industrial style interiors and put them on a walking war machine in some insane fantasy battle campaign.
Nice vid. That was fun, thanks. Reminded me of playing Panzer Elite many years ago. There's one thing I think the Tiger I (H) did better than just about any AFV from WW2: LOOK as "death on tracks" ought to look, LOL. That squat, square look with a ruddy big gun pointing at you conveys a rather brutal, "no subtlety here, all business" message unmistakeably. Sure, Panther in some important respects is arguably superior. Tiger II/King Tiger is over the top, as are Ferdinand/Elefant, the ridiculous JagdTiger, let alone possibly the craziest of the lot, the SturmTiger. While clearly outclassing the Tiger in many if not all important respects, none of them has that peculiarly unforgettable "look" about them. Still remember when I first started reading military history of WW2 and getting interested in the hardware, plus going on to assemble many 1/72nd scale models, how the Tiger created that immediate impression. That was a worryingly long time ago now, yet it's never changed. My other favourite in the "this looks bad when it's pointing in my direction" category is the SU-152 (and of course the later ISU version) for much the same reasons. No subtlety, somewhat squat, and that truly disturbing gun barrel. I suppose it's hardly surprising that a 6" howitzer wouldn't be something you'd want to see in a way that makes you feel it's aiming at YOU personally, LOL. Jokes aside, remarkable to remember what so many millions of people endured. It IS fascinating, and DOES create many stirring visuals, but ultimately it must've been horrifying and terrifying.
@@Geoweb35 In IL-2 I did get in the tank. I could drive it... but nothing else seemed to work? controls were not logical as I looked at the kb layout but even still most combo's didn't work in the tank? Is that why?
@@ronkramer3476 i have remaped some of the keys, i have used diffrent ones, if you want to change some keys first you have to check if that key is used for other command.
Would be funny if they put RNG landmines in the game so your tank blows up or get tracked randomly so you either go Fury mode, call for backup or get partizanned.
I bought tank crew awesome game except I have a few issues AI is stupid I really hope they fix this in the next big update, and the commander needs binoculars im really hoping for this in the next update. And they need to make a tank map just tanks no planes but other than that This game is going to be really good!!! The right tactic for attacking a convoy is to destroy the leading vehicle first and then the last. Doing so you create confusion and it harms the mobility of the remaining vehicles which will become easy targets.
Wittman's merits are greatly exaggerated. I should have given him a T-26 tank and said, show me what a super tank ACE you are. We already know that he would have died in the first fight. And to have the most armored Tiger tank and the most powerful gun there is no need to be an ace.

Wittman can fire while moving, that is already a major bonus. There are no notable aces in tanks below 12 tons, all the notable soviet aces drive a KV or t-34
They now get knocked out a lot, especially when a large cannon shell hits near them. It won't matter anyway, it is too low for the parachute to open successfully

Yes you can play single player or online multiplayer, now it has 2 single player campaigns, also you can find some single player custom missions on sturmovik forum, in multiplayer you can play with 3- 4 friends in the same tank (gunner, commander, driver)

hopefully this dlc will bring the true tank combat sim of the old ssi game panzer commander. I cant wait for the devs to improve this game and release it. wot...meh...your time is coming..to an end.
I hope they add more sounds effects. Crew voices, loading sounds, etc. It gives life to the sim. I will for sure buy the game if they add it when they release it. If they dont add it, I wont buy it, simple. A tank sim/game with no (good) cree voices, is a dead sim to me.
Pretty empty on the screen. No soldiers, no AT guns - nothing just tanks and trucks. I already know this kind of game which called “War Thunder”. Not ready to pay for the game, sorry 😐
also bought the early access had a few really fun mp games its much more realistic then war thunder.. but it just lacks servers and playerbase at the moment which i hope will groe
For me WT game is not similar with TC, WT is counter strike with tanks , arcade tank game, with non realistic gunsights, without tank crew animation, without cockpit interiors, in may now TC adds new destruction models when tank is hit by shells, WT and TC are 2 different games.

The two games are similar but have very different play styles. Tbh, WT is free so must people choose it over IL2
