I just finished the book so that is why i did not join the live. I loved the book and im so enjoying this live stream even do im not looking at it live :)
I only caught the first hour of this but I had a fun time listening in! I’ll be watching back that last hour later. I would definitely want to do more of these group discussions :)
Oh man I am so bummed that I missed this live but glad I'm still able to watch it!! I need to start thinking deeper apparently because I took everything Ji Won said to heart. I fully believed her when she said this man was awful and sided with her when she got crazy LOL. This will be a reread for me because there are so many things you can probably catch on a reread that you might not have caught the first time. Please keep us updated on another book club live!
This is the first book i ever finished because i tend to jump back and forth between books but i was dedicated so i could come back and hear ur review 😭
Sorry couldn't watch this live.. I'm in the UK and just couldn't stay up after the day I had. I'll be better prepared next time, but I must insist that Mr Mosley open the book club meeting again 🧐Can't wait ❤
George is the worst lol😅 lol idc how crazy she is, he's terrible. He made the sister uncomfortable too. She's not a great person either, you're right about her not accepting responsibility, but i still feel that there are certain cultural differences that make some of her feelings valid. I wish I caught this when it was live, I have so much to say 😂.
Oh absolutely. If he actually did any of those things he is a POS. But I read it more as an unreliable narrator/American Psycho type story. But your comment made me think further about it and maybe that's the entire point? She talks about the privilege and power men like George have and her not having those same luxuries. Maybe the author meant to have her point of view seem more blurred and unreliable as this is how she typically feels? Thanks for making me think more into the story!
Omg i just can't with his little tie 😭 He is soo dang precious!!! I missed the whole review because Mosley just took over with his cuteness!!! 😂

I'm personally a person for spoilers! It never takes away the experience for me going in with my own take/ emotions.😊

@@AndaKent thank you for reading and replying to my comment, I'm geeking out about it
I wish the title or description or anything said this was a live 👎
She posted about this multiple times.
