A live stream would be so much better! I’d love the interaction live. I think that works best if you want to discuss, cause answering comments feels like more work for you. It’s easier to read and answer the live chat imo ❤️
Weird request: Could you do a video where you show us all your t-shirts and talk about where you got them? I always love your shirts and I never know where to get good horror t-shirts from.
I absolutely loved Sour Candy. It absolutely blew me away, it was so off and creepy. I also loved another of his short novellas called The House on Abigail Lane. It was so so good!!
Livestreams are great. If you decide to have a discord., that would be awesome. Your fans can come together all over the world talk about the books we enjoy from your channel. 🙂🙂
I loved The Death of Ivan Ilyich! I read it August and was pleasantly surprised because I’m not a big fan of Anna Karenina (haven’t given war and peace the attempt yet). I read all seven stories in the Penguin edition and there was a story I liked even more than Ivan’s, so overall a great collection surrounding the question of death. Sour Candy was basically my intro to horror fiction when I started reading much more frequently because of 2020. Fell in love and now I read mostly classics and horror. Highly recommend it to anyone on the fence. Totally bonkers though. xD.
Loved Sour Candy. And I've picked up another KPB to read. I tried to read Girls Against God but I just couldn't get into it. DNF 😐 Not read any of the others yet but I intend to read Beast of Burden & Ex-Boogeyman (Sonnet & Triana are two authors I will read almost anything they write 😊) Some of my fave reads from July... Zombie by Joyce Carol Oates, Any Man by Amber Tamblyn, The Witnesses Are Gone by Joel Lane, Church by Renee Miller, & I'll Be Gone In The Dark by Michelle McNamara (true crime non-fiction) Love your wrap ups, thanks 👍
As someone who LOVES Jurassic Park, the movie (as in, I watch it at least twice a month, lol), reading the book just made me love it more. And the book became one of my favorites, too. So I got a grander appreciation for both.
I'm new to your channel, and I just stayed up way too late last night reading The Eyes are the Best Part. All I can say is wow! I'd take part in a live stream discussing the book, now I need to wake up enough to read the latest 100 pages!
Lev [the vowel sounds like the one in 'left'] is like Leo, Leon etc. They all mean lion. Perhaps in the West "Lev" is considered too foreign, so "Leo" is used instead.
I've only read one book by Kealan Patrick Burke and that was "Blanky". It's pretty short, but is also really twisted. I gave it five stars on goodreads.
I too have a special place in my heart for Jurassic Park (the John Williams theme was what walked down the isle to) but will admit never read the book but will add it to my TBR
Girls Against God has been added to my TBR because i am definitely a girl against god... it really spoke to my ex-catholic atheist brain... wow...lol i love that it has no plot because the thoughts i have about religion are trauma based and they just dont have a plot or make sense. Theyre discombobulated just how that book sounded. Ooh im pumped to listen to the audiobook version.
I live in New Zealand so timezones are so wack for me for anything live.. Discord would be preferred for weird timezone ppl like me. Also it would be nice to have a constant conversation about books ongoing in a discord chat ❤
Me: watches a video about mostly horror books. Gets jumpscared by Tolstoy 😅 You actually got it right with the Lev (pronounced also as Lev), "Leo" is just how it usually gets adapted in translation (idk if it's because Lev means Leo\Lion in russian or because Leo is just a more familiar sounding name in english, or both).
i felt the same way about Middle of the Night - i was hooked all the way through but found the overall plot disappointing. riley sager is so talented i know i’ll read his next book though
Jurassic Park is one of my all time favorite movies and I figured I should read the book at some point, and while I'm glad I did, I Much prefer the movie. Particularly the character changes of John Hammond, Ian Malcom, and freaking LEX!.
I haven't been following your account for very long, so maybe you've read this one before, but I would recommend reading 'Hex' by Thomas Olde Heuvelt. I think you would enjoy it!
I have a silly question. Are you actually reading the books or listening to audiobooks? I've been consuming a ton of audiobooks then buying hard copies of ones I love, but I feel the narrator really makes a difference with audiobooks. I'm a former avid reader just getting back with mostly audio due to time an work, but I feel a bit weird cuz I always read, but I don't hate listening 😂 it feels like cheating tho! Even tho I guess I'm still paying an supporting author thru audible
The only one I read is Jurassic Park, which I read before I saw the film, barely. Glad the lawyer got killed in the film, disappointed the game keeper died in film. Prefer the book, film doesn't have a high kill list and no gore. Think I like Carnosaur by Harry Adam Knight (real name John Brosnan), but the film is rubbish.

I absolutely loved Sour Candy. It absolutely blew me away, it was so off and creepy. I also loved another of his short novellas called The House on Abigail Lane. It was so so good!!
Yeah sour candy was really cool and different and made me love the short story form that much more.
Dead Leaves by Kealan Patrick Burke is a brilliant short story collection, would definitely recommend!
Sour Candy was a trip and a half!
I love your description of Middle of the Night, you didn’t drag the book or the author, I have been hearing such terrible things about it.
Livestreams are great. If you decide to have a discord., that would be awesome. Your fans can come together all over the world talk about the books we enjoy from your channel. 🙂🙂
I thought Sour Candy was just okay/decent. KIN is KPB's magnum opus, imo. Absolutely love that book!
I’d love to see a live stream!

Gosh, I gotta get around to reading Jurassic Park. It’s been on my TBR for a while.
Always a great day when you post a new video! Can’t wait for “The eyes are the best part” book club!
I’d totally tune in for a livestream!
I've only read one book by Kealan Patrick Burke and that was "Blanky". It's pretty short, but is also really twisted. I gave it five stars on goodreads.

We’re almost in Spooky season!!!

there are big differences in Jurassic Park, glad more people are reading it.
I would love a livestream!
I think a livestream is the way to go, imo
I live in New Zealand so timezones are so wack for me for anything live..
Discord would be preferred for weird timezone ppl like me. Also it would be nice to have a constant conversation about books ongoing in a discord chat ❤
Livestream would be good but I'm in the UK so times don't always work out!
Awesome Anda posted! 🎉 yay! made my day
Me: watches a video about mostly horror books. Gets jumpscared by Tolstoy 😅

A live stream would be fun. What time zone are you as I’m in UK so I’m ahead of US? I’ve read it and need someone to talk to also 😊
Okay, lets push nighttime 30 minute later today !
i felt the same way about Middle of the Night - i was hooked all the way through but found the overall plot disappointing. riley sager is so talented i know i’ll read his next book though

Livestream (though I'd love joining a discord for it)
I still suggest fable for the people that don't finish the books in time
I haven't been following your account for very long, so maybe you've read this one before, but I would recommend reading 'Hex' by Thomas Olde Heuvelt. I think you would enjoy it!
Your my favorite book tuber and a fellow American psycho defender I really recommend new millennium boyz by Alex kazemi
I would love a live stream on UA-cam. Like you said, it would be a better way for us to interact with you
Check out negative space by br Yeager, would love to hear your take on it!
Apartment 16 by Adam Nevill is a good read if you're in the mood for a creepy occult-ish horror story.
I have a silly question. Are you actually reading the books or listening to audiobooks? Yay ❤
Think I’ll check out Everyone is Watching
Live show would be fun but I didn't know there was a discord where do we find it?
Middle of the Night was my first Riley Sager book & it wasn’t impressive 😢
The only one I read is Jurassic Park, which I read before I saw the film, barely. Glad the lawyer got killed in the film, disappointed the game keeper died in film.
