      I was sick this time last year & it was horrible. I had a slight fever, extreme fatigue, & no sense of smell or taste on day five, luckily no cough. Didn't have trouble breathing until day 10 when my fever broke, my O2 level dropped to 85. I was better by day 14 but the full recovery didn't happen until about 3 months later...That was mainly because I was severely dehydrated. I did go to the ER on day 8 to be tested & because my fever hadn't broken yet ( I also got a couple of bags of IV saline). The best advice I can give is do what you're doing, stay away from refined sugars, take a multivitamin along with vitamin C, & D supplements, elderberry syrup, and only take acetaminophen (unless allergic) NO IBUPROFEN, and only eat fresh, healthy foods. This was all advice from the immunologist that saw me the night I went to the ER. Feel better but you are actually better off getting the bug organically than getting the vaccine for one reason, no one knows the lasting effects of the vaccine yet, now your body already knows how to respond to the virus. Also, sleep at an incline, not flat on your back nor on your side, it relieves pressure from your lungs & keeps the phlem out of your upper chest. Basically treat it like you would the flu but I also recommend asking your doc for some antibiotics in case you also have a bacterial infection. My doc put me on Tamiflu & Antibiotics right away and I do believe that's what prevented it from spreading to my lungs. My first symptoms were a runny nose and an uncontrollable watery eye.

      I got it back in August, it triggered some of my other health conditions and sent me to the emergency room but I was back at home that afternoon. I was sick for about a month, with the coughing, muscle aches joint aches, entire body aches. I also had the loss of smell and taste but I don't remember when I got that back. I still felt fatigue from it today, but I will be 53 next month, so that might have a role to play in it. I just got my second dose of the vaccine a little over a week ago, I'm not playing around with this virus. My teenager is getting vaccinated as soon as I can get an appointment to fit the school schedule. My grandkids are way too young to get the vaccine yet, and I want to protect them anyway I can.

    The first time Covid hit me i had a full blown fever and soon after full blown COVID.
    It was a rough 4 weeks for me. Coughing continued for 2 months. And sweets where all i could taste.
    It was a difficult time because i live alone and none wanted to even buy me medicine 😢 but yeah i pulled through it. I hope you guys the best. Take rest and drink your meds to help with the coughing and fever. I hope u guys have a speedy recovery my friend!

      I'm so sorry you had to go through that... the scary thing is wondering what's going to happen next. My wife is totally fine and I'm still fighting with some lingering sinus pressure/headache and my taste/smell aren't where it was (yet) but it could be worse. Thank you for your kind words!!

    I hope you and your family get well soon. I got it in November along with my family. My body hurt so much, exhausted, fever, no smell or taste, And breathing issues didn't hit until about 7-8 days in. It was very scary.

    Buttcheeks-19 nooooooooo! lol glad you are okay at least bro, sucks you got it. I can't say I know I have had it, late 2019 I believe I got it before anyone was aware of it. Felt like death, fatigue, sinus, breathing, was all terrible for like two weeks. And I have been tested since a few times and nothing, so I think I already had it, everyone in my house at that time. Take care brother.

    • @DannymikReacts
      @DannymikReacts  3 роки тому

      I have no clue if I'll be 100% okay because this one is a weird one and have been feeling some odd shite. I can say that I was good enough to get that video done. Many people felt like they had it Dec 2019/Jan 2020 for the same symptoms you listed. I'm glad that I can breathe as good as you would expect... not perfect but I'm not having much trouble. Thanks for the well wishes 💪🤘

    Hope you feel better man! Glad you admitted you were stubborn about the vaccine :P For real though, glad your symptoms aren't awful, but get some rest. My friend Mike still doesn't have taste or smell and he had it way back the week before Thanksgiving, and my college roommate developed a heart condition from it. Shit is no joke. Hope you and your wife get better soon!

    • @DannymikReacts
      @DannymikReacts  3 роки тому

      Actually my symptoms did get kind of wacky AFTER this video but have seemed to calm down the past 20 hours or so. I am stubborn to take a vaccine that has no proof of long-term safety and is NOT FDA approved. That is where my concern stems from. Me, my wife, and kids have all the necessary vaccines you typically get as kids. Regardless, I appreciate the kind words and that I know you genuinely care... thank you!

    I feel ya man, i'm the same with the shots. Fuck, I thought I had something few weeks ago with extreme tiredness and my bones aching from the inside and I was scared but didn't wanna look up anything or goto the doctor. It's gone now, but don't think I had the no scent, no taste issue so probably wasn't it. Stay strong buddy, all the best to you and the family.

    Question 1: How's your wife doing?
    Question 2: You really have _no_ idea how you got it? Did you go out anywhere? Do you religiously wear a mask? Were you at all around others who weren't wearing one? Is there anyone you could have potentially, unknowingly, infected before getting tested? There is real reason for concern right now because of certain variants in the population. More and more young people are ending up in the hospital because of the variants.
    Last question: you said you were stubborn and didn't want to get vaccinated. May I ask why? Stubbornness is not exactly a reason. LOL

    • @DannymikReacts
      @DannymikReacts  2 місяці тому

      I missed this comment and I apologize. It's hard to track where this virus spreads from but I guess it's not really important. I've tested positive 2x... the 2nd time was much easier (but different symptoms).
      Since the drug they inject doesn't stop the spread I don't think it's a deal breaker for me. I'm still fairly young and in good health otherwise. Three years later and this ugly crap is still impacting our lives!
