I just love her. I begin my day and end my night listening to her. She makes you connect to every song she sings. Even songs I'm not really prefer. I probably listen to the reactions over and over again. AJ is remarkable artistry.
Man I can't help but feel emotional listening to her sing. Thinking of Mercury and how he would feel about this performance, I think he'd be proud. For sure. The look on the faces of the audience and judges, everyone is unreal, shocked at what's coming out of her mouth. Very awesome cover, one of the best I've ever heard in many years. Thanks for this reaction. Queen themselves loved this cover. She has released her first single with Republic Records - “Million Miles” please check out the official music video as I think it presents a great visual representation of the lyrics meaning (written for her late grandfather). She also has 3 other originals from earlier in her career “Shield”, “What is Life” and “Oslo”. All of them unique and showing her versatility with different music and vocal styles.

Welcome back to Angelina's world. Your previous reactions were likely before I discovered Angelina just about a year ago. Now Angelina is my all time favorite musical artist from my 62 years. Her first single on Republic Records, Million Miles, the live in studio version is my top choice for you to react to.

Thanks for coming back to Angelina, Danny. The arrangement in this performance is entirely Angelina's and what she did is take an iconic rock anthem and pay respect to it while turning it into an intimate soulful ballad and made it beautiful. You mentioned the outfit she is wearing and you may be interested to know that the print on the material include pictures of both Angelina and her sister and was done with her grandmothers artwork. Angelina made the outfit herself.

Just subscribed. At 65, after discovering Angelina a few months ago, I am completely gobsmacked and can't go a day w/o listening to her. Glad to see you are already familiar with her. I recommend "I'm Still Holding Out For You" at 10 years old. It was written for her to sing and she did record it but did not release it due to objections by her family over the lyrics. IMO it would have been a hit. Another is a live performance, "The Alan Walker Concert" featuring Angelina, again at 10, singing to a huge audience backed by the Alan Walker band singing "Sing Me To Sleep" and "Faded". A truly remarkable performance by a 10 year old. I look forward to your journey with AJ. THANK YOU!

The blonde-haired lady at 5:30 is Angelina's mom, Sara Astar. To her left is Angelina's maternal grandmother Mery Zamani, an internationally recognized Iranian artist. To Sara's right is Angelina's sister Juliette Astar, and then next to her is Angelina's uncle and business manager Michael Astar. Angelina designed and created her outfit from prints of some of Mery Zamani's paintings.
My first thought was "America's Got Talent, WTF?" but then I remembered all of the people who got their start from shows like American Idol. Also, she kicked ass on this. Thanks for sharing.

If you want new originals try SHIELD or better yet, MILLION MILES which is her 1st off her new label. She wrote both and both are 2 of her very best. Honestly, pick anything you haven't listened to and it will be good. If it's a cover, it will probably be at least as good as the original and a good chance her version is better.

That was a great reaction. Totally enjoyed it. A few comments for you. Yes AGT does limit the length of each song so she had to arrange it to fit the time period She arranged this herself! Secondly, this particular song when you get into the dramatic portion, is done by multiple singers simultaneously. I think it would be difficult to do Bohemian Rhapsody in it's entirety by a single female singer.

Hello @Ron R!! Lots of GREAT information in here for me to mull over. I can totally understand what you're saying about her arrangement and why she structured it like she did. This is stuff that I didn't consider when I was focused on her vocal talent. Doing these reactions is a situation where you're trying to process all this information in a tight window of time so I tent to miss certain elements of the song. It’s so hard to cover a song that it so well known and so well loved as the original is. She has a vintage sound about her voice like Amy Winehouse or Paloma Faith. Turning a classic into an original is the difficult by world renowned artist never mind a new comer.

It's HER arrangement, like she does for most of her songs, like on her cover of Screaming Jay Hawkins' I Put A Spell On You, she is giving some notes for the band to play at the start of the vid and even kind of "conducts" with her pen in the video. Understand she's been branching out with piano, guitar and drums. Seems she's gonna be doing the Prince thing with a studio album with her playing all the instrments. Certainly when something is this good, we would all like to see/hear more. But in shows like this there's a cap on how long the performance can be; I think on AGTC2 it's about 2:30, where as the original BH is over 6:00s. But I believe we are all in agreement that what she gave us was FANTASTIC!! I have never heard a better version of that song than the one Angelina does in that video (With the Norwegian Military Orchestra behind her) - It is quite telling when the conductor and the band turns to face her after her performance and gives her a standing ovation with the crowd.
