My point is, not everyone wants to stand, or loom over their instrument. Sometimes you want an instrument simply for its aesthetic, and the way it’s going to sit in your home, and even if you never take it out on a tour, the pure pleasure of playing it knowing you don’t have to lean over to see anything, or hunch your back because your sitting Low with the keyboard at chest level because you wear glasses but you don’t when playing and you’re myopic. Instruments should never be intended to be a one-size fits all, if only I had the means 😂 THANK Y😇U KORG!!
True, especially if a musician needs to sit because he has a bad back, which is a result of lugging heavy wooden-encased organ and speakers for decades🤕🥲.
Wonder if the RH-3 action has been tweeked, as that's the main weakness of most korg products comparative to Kawai, Yamaha, Roland and those products with the TP400W?
Vaaaaaaooooooooo Korg grandstage X is Very Very Excellent High quality All Sound and Piano Sound Grandstage X is Very Natural Piano Sound Grandstage X Number One Grandstage X is My Love ❤❤❤
Is this keyboard vaporware? It was announced in January, and it's October. People build amusement parks in this timeframe. After they announced it, did they start working on it?
I’m a Yamaha man. Always have; always will be. But that Korg sounds fantastic! Haven’t really been into Korg since they discontinued the Triton series. But this is worth a look. Nice job Korg.🤨🎶🎹👍🏾
I’m just wondering why it’s taking so long to put it out on the market it’s been 6 or 7 months and these are the only video videos that you see of it . Or even Nord got has recent videos on the grand to already out and these were both launched at the same time
@@brian6556 Hopefully 73 keys version will be released in the future. I find 73 keys to be the perfect size for gigging. Still very happy with my 4 years old grand stage today but the new piano sound with the option to change micro position like with VST piano seems quite interesting
Fine keyboard. But a bit worrying with the buttons so close to the keys. I know from other keyboards that you can accidentally touch them while playing. SD card, why not USB key?
Identity crisis product. Is it a 'stage' piano? Is it a digital piano for the home market? Apart from the nice design (too heavy though unless you're a pro with help - and tbh pro's won't use this) there is also the matter of the boom-tish auto rhythm box - an immediate turn-off for me. Great for dinner-dances and cocktail bars I suppose. Just imagine if Korg (and others) brought out a stage piano with just an excellent kbd action, some core piano voices, organs (if you must) and strings plus the ability to load your own 'proper stuff' like Pianoteq, Ravenscroft etc. Plus get rid of all the crap harpsichord, choir stuff from the 90's GM bargain bin era. Which mainstream act these days seriously uses harpsichord or a Panamanian nose-flute to get the audience bopping? Nice colour though.🙄
Why wouldn’t the potential buyer of this not get a Nautlius which has more under the hood, has the same hammer action but weighs in at 13kg. Make it make sense Seems to me they’ve looked at the Nord Grand which is intended as a home piano and thought they should make a competitor which explains to me why you already see a lot of both those models for sale second hand already. Weird

Looks killer love the wooden legs!
Doesn't it?! Dang Would redecorate a whole room just to complement this
Korg is on fire! ❤
great stuff KORG's smashing out in the market ❤❤❤
only roland is competing in terms of analog synths and of course drum maschines.
The design pretty much reminds me of Play Station 5
I think it is cool, xbox design would be terrible.
I do play a Grandstage 73 and I really wish it would have a Nutube. Might take a closer look at this one.

For a stage piano I think boot time has been an equal problem. Hoping this one clocks in well under 30s
I prefer it to almost all those actions, except maybe the Roland PHA-4 action. For me it a strength. To each his own.
Well done, KORG!
'X' reminded me Kronos X 🥲

I have the old grand stage but I like the new one. How much is it and when is it coming out to America?
Expander version, please! 😊
