HIGH POWER Car Battery Jump Starter portable charging device
This is a short video unboxing, testing and reviewing the “HIGH POWER Jump Starter Power Station”, specifically focussing on its main selling point, which is to jump start a car that has a completely dead/flat battery.
The Power Station comes in a soft zip case, along with Jump Starter cables, the AC Charging unit, and the User Manual.
The Power Station has a number of devices on it, it has a compass, a flashlight, 4 USB charger terminals for charging phones and other devices, and it has the terminals for charging the Power Station, and the Jump Start cable connections.
    CHARGING THE POWER STATION
To charge it we must plug the charger into the AC terminal next to the USB ports.
There are 4 LED lights on the side, which indicate the amount of charge in the Power Station. Zero means it is dead, and 4 means it is fully charged.
Once charged, we can try jump staring the car.
    JUMP STARTING A VEHICLE
    1. Attach the red cable clamp to the positive terminal on the battery, and the black clamp to the negative terminal.
    2. Plug the blue ends of the cables into the Power Station next to the USB ports, with the square pin going into the square hole and the round pin in the round hole.
    3. Place the Power Station somewhere stable so it doesn’t fall down once the engine kicks over.
    4. Now the power should be sent from the device to the car, so we should be able to start it up.
    5. Turn the key.
    6. Once started, leave the car idling and immediately unplug the Power Station to avoid it overheating or burning out.
    7. Remove the Red clamp, and then the black clamp, then unplug the cables from the device.
    8. Leave the vehicle idling for 5 to 10 minutes to help charge the battery and to warm the vehicle up.
    9. Place the Power Station inside the vehicle and take it for a drive somewhere with little traffic to allow for the vehicle to charge the battery naturally. (By having the Power Station in the vehicle, it can be used to jump start the vehicle if it decides to die again while out driving… Also, being in an area with little traffic will prevent you from risking breaking down in a dangerous area creating a traffic hazard).
The User Manual says the Power Station will hold its charge for 6 to 12 months at a time, but they recommend to charge it every 3 months.
