T stands for tail switch. I purchased the light because of the tail switch setup. It's the little side switch that gets turned on accidentally all the time and not the rear one.
I don't mean to be negative but to my knowledge the Thrunite BSS V5 doesn't have direct access to the strobe via the tail switch. The side switch that can activate the flashlight without the tail switch also makes it possible for the flashlight to be activated accidentally. There are few tactical flashlights out there that have dual tail switches or unique switches like the Wuben T1 which I think are way better than the Thrunite BSS V5 UI. And in my opinion your SP35T has better UI than the Thrunite BSS V5 as a tactical flashlight because in tactical mode the SP35T is able to access turbo, momentary turbo and strobe from the tail switch.
I think that the SP35T and BSS v5 are very comparable and it comes down to preference. I recommend purchasing both lights, if possible. Please watch the video from 8:09 to see my thoughts on the SP35T :)
Yes, and it then disables the functions of the side switch (being able to cycle thru brightness modes) Theres too many deal breakers for me. However, i have over the past week been using the SC31T on tail switch only mode to give it another chance, I'll post some comparison videos between the SC31T and some other lights soon.
@@KYROandHisThings not true. I have carried this light daily for a year now. I use the tail switch to turn it on and off and use the side button to adjust brightness levels every time.
Hey Cameron, I'm not a big fan of either. They are very similar and the pro is just a step up. Both are completely fine for an EDC lights, i just dont think they are true tactical lights due to the user interface. The Wurkkos FC12 is a similar option with improvements pretty much everywhere.
Hey friend! I got a question for you, can I charge my Sofirn SC31T flashlight Using a Galaxy A52 Android charger safely? A friend of mine said that I could use any 5v 2a charger that wasn't turbo, but the one that I have is (I think it's 15W), is this a fact? The flashlight battery could be damaged if I used this charger, or the charger would just adapt and use the standard 10w 5v 2a method? Thank you

Hey, check both the Sofirn website and Amazon listing. They specifically write out tactical.
Thanks for this video now I know what I should buy it's the Sofirn SP35T 👍

Turn the tail switch on. Turn on side switch to mode you want. Turn off with the tail switch. You now have momentary or full on with the tail switch

Hey! Just make sure the voltage is the same, thats all that matters.
Lol it isn’t that big of a deal - just use the tail switch as a main, leave it always on and you’ll never have a problem only when pocketing.
