Thank you, Michael, for saying exactly what I've been saying about Lex for most of my life (yes, I was young when Smallville came out 😅)! 100% Lex's downfall was in large part contributed to by his father's shadow (not to mention his father himself). Lex was so mistreated by so many people way back before it was warranted, and I definitely think Jonathan Kent played a decent part in that too (from several conversations, not just the one). It was mostly a self-fulfilling prophecy on the part of Lex's cynics. He was the victim that never got saved, as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, thanks for another enjoyable podcast episode, guys. I can't wait to see what's planned for the finale. (Get well soon, Ryan!)
Chloe was definitely in shock when Clark unburied her, and in absolutely no condition to question the circumstances surrounding her being saved. There's actually quite a few times that both her and Lana both come very close to uncovering Clark's secret, but his saving grace is their confusion and shock. Even if she recalled later the circumstances surrounding her rescue, she would most likely chalk up any irregularities to her being in shock, or misremembering things because she was in shock. If there's one thing you can always count on Chloe to be, it's pretty logical.
@@ashleyryan1 See, I think her logical mind is what led to the wall of weird. On it are phenomena she was unable to find rational explanations for, even after exhaustively attempting to find them.
@Dayspring Exactly. And even if she questioned the lie, literally any inconsistency can be chalked up to shock. Not only that, but Chloe being the logical and intelligent person she is, would understand how unreliable human memory is and it would be a non-issue.
One good thing I will say about having the longer 20+ episode seasons is that it gives the audience more time to spend with the characters and get to know them... The length lets you build a bond with the existing characters, especially if they are written consistently. Sometimes you don't really get to have that with the newer 8-10 episode streaming shows these days. I think its why so many people are still fond of Smallville. The amount of time we spent with the characters is something that is tough to replicate elsewhere.

i think the reason Johnathan Kent was so up in arms about lex excavating in that field is because Kent knows lionel help them push Clarks adoption through. though lex and Clark are unaware of that information at this point in the timeline. Jonathan doesnt want Lex and LIonel connecting the dots about the "found child in the field's" adoption and the spaceship. Personally im glad they rescued the girls by the end of the episode and didnt drag it out over several episodes. i enjoyed the clairvoyance storyline.🌹🌹I really liked how Clark punched thru the ground and drags chloe out of the ground coffin and all. Chloe was probably too grateful to be rescued she didnt bother to wonder how Clark did it.
Right now, I am writing my master's thesis and listening the podcast. The podcast is the only thing that is keeping me sane. I love all... ALWAYS HOLD ON TO SMALLVILLE
10000% agree. In my head I know it is the same guy (Michael), but while watching Smallville episodes (many times over), I get pulled into the show & I do not feel like I am watching Michael on screen (only the bloopers reels reveal Michael, out of character, lol). So many layers to his superb acting 😍🤩 Best Lex, ever :)
That's so funny that you guys didn't recognise the octagonal key when fans asked you to sign it haha. Did the prop look different in the show? I thought Tom would recognise it at least since he has multiple scenes with it throughout the entire run of the show. Also, Chloe's cousin that's mentioned is Lois! Even though we don't know that yet, Lois (and Lucy) is the only cousin Chloe ever mentions so we can assume it's her. She actually gets indirectly referenced as Chloe's cousin in every season prior to her introduction in season 4. Still loving this podcast guys!
Yes, it was Lois, I even think when Lois came she said something about the opportunity Chloe had at the Daily Planet that she missed, I'm not sure if it was this opportunity or another one later on, but it's clearly Lois
@@rotem-shmueli yep and in season 3 when Chloe wants to publish an article in the Daily Planet but she's been blacklisted by Lionel, she asks her editor to publish it under her cousin's name: Lois Lane, since she has no interest in journalism lol
Tom and Michael not knowing about the key is one of my favorite details that they've shared in this entire podcast. You can't make up how good that is! Toooooooo funny
🤣 That is so funny & awesome rolled into one. It must have been so odd for both of them to have fans ask them to sign it for years, yet it went as an unknown item to both of them, until they had finally filmed this podcast episode & figured it out 😍😂
I rewatched too and since I am pretty new to the bandwagon, I recalled, the scene where Clark talks to Lana in the Loft, about Chloe's first visit to the farm in eighth grade, where she kissed him out of no where! It was exactly depicted in Season 8 episode 9 "Abyss". That is awesome to have kept the details intact after so many seasons, which Smallville itself have many times messed up! So kudos to that!! Thanks again!
I think Lex saw Jonathan as a potential father figure to replace the monster of a father that he had. Lex was jealous of the Kent family and how close and supportive they were to each other, it's something that he once almost had before his mother died. So being outright rejected by Jonathan hurt him more than just the simple lines would imply.
What I find funny in the episode is when Whitney suggest that he would drive Chloe and Clark to where Lana is, Chloe is like "yeah we are taking my car" Maybe because Whitney has totalled his truck like 3 times by now. Haha Also love that Tom and Michael are team Clana at this point in the series
They need to keep track of the number of cars that get totalled! How does anyone in Smallville afford insurance? (But, I was amazed that Lana kept her burgundy Jeep for about 2 seasons!)
I have just discovered this podcast and basically binged through the entire first season in just two or three days - now have season two to go and then I'm in the same boat as you...
OMG THANK YOU Michael!!!!! Every time I rewatch Smallville I always start yelling at John Kent about the fact that Lex isn't doing anything wrong! He doesn't know you guys are involved! John Kent treats Lex so poorly and expects this grown man to just fall in line and listen to him for essentially no reason! Lex feels like he is being villanized for simply being curious. I love that Michael pointed that out this episode! I thought I was the only one!! lol Love this Podcast!
He also keeps investigating the crash, had a secret level at the plant (I know Lex didn't know, but Jonthan doesn't know that), covered up a murder at Club Zero. For every time Lex is "just curious", he's also hiding a lot and covering up a lot too.
@@jkhoover That is very true. But my point is specifically just about the Kents. Like, Lex was saved in a miraculous way and I believe most people will wonder about it. Then the Kents keep telling him to leave it alone but when you think about it, why should he? He was directly involved in the crash. It involved his life as much as it involved Clark's. They gave him no real reason to drop it aside from, "it's the past." You know? All that said, you do make another good point though about Lex in general.
Found you guys podcast from episode 11 and went back and binged the others up to today. Great work guys! Like everyone here , and yourselves, growing up with this show was amazing. Cannot wait for seasons coming forward. It's going to be a blast!
34:34 I think Millar and Gough knew indeed what the key was for, because one episode later they already showed us. its insane, we are already at episode 20. few weeks earlier we were at episode 5 :O how time passes by when you enjoy something. love the podcast.
But did they know for how long that key would be used? I am surprised that the number of times Tom Welling picked it up as Clark that he does not remember it, but I guess it’s someone else’s hands for the closeup shots.
Idk if this comment will ever get read, but I have to say how thankful I am that you two are doing this. I started watching this show at 14 with my Dad and a few months later he was sent to Afghanistan… again. United States Air Force. This would be his 13th tour. Smallville was something we shared together. No matter how far away he was he would find time to catch an episode with me. This show is for my Dad and I. He is now retired, 22 years. I do want to ask, could y’all start keeping track of injury mistakes. Cloe will get hit on the right and her cut is on the left or Lana will have a cut in one scene on her right arm and the next scene it moves to the left arm lol. It always made me laugh and say “did you see it??” Anyway, love you both so much. As a teen I couldn’t choose if I was Team Lex or Team Clark, I thought you both were sexy hahaha
I DID NOT KNOW THIS IS A THING!! Omg 😱 your show helped me through high school! There was nothing better than watching smallvillle on a bad day and I had a lot of those! I’d honestly would probably cry if I met any of you!
Love your energy on the show, guys! As Tom said about a good guest star bringing an energy to the performance, your energy brings a welcome energy to the humdrum of our lives. Thanks for that!
Great episode again! When I saw the key, it gave me chills. And then remembered how important the key was for future episodes with the ship and the cave! :D
I have to agree,, Allison is an acting genius really. Loved the episode, guys. Am so thankful for every Wednesday. This episode was dark and confusing in a good way. I love Clark and Lana. Probably too much. But when Clark punches the ground and rips Chloe out and she says "It's always you" the romantic in me wants them to be together. Great episide. Started off fucked up but in the end i loved it. Thank you, Tom, Michael, and Ryan. Look forward to next week! Love you guys for doing this..... Also read an interview with Justin Hartley and he said he had no clue about the Smalliville animation continuation?????
I do like how you guys try and identify a plausible explanation of how Kryptonite powers are created/bestowed, work....its fantasy but you guys are trying to make it real... just like the rest of us fans. Another great podcast episode!
I had the same problem that Michael had with Jonathan giving back the cheque. Same thought. The more he pushes back with Lex and denies his help, the more Lex is going to get suspicious. Jonathan is just contributing to everything that pushes Lex over the edge (eventually making him evil).
But yiu have to remember that later on its revealed that Lionel helped them with the adoption of Clark who they found in the middle of the field and if Lex finds the ship they might connect the dots.
Funniest part of this TalkVille episode is Tom and Michael admitting that they didn't know what the octagonal keys that they sign at cons was 🤣 it's such an iconic piece of Smallville and they didn't even remember it 😂. I think "Obscura" was a solid episode the story was moving forward, it was entertaining and interesting. I gotta say poor Lana and Chloe all the traumatic and near death experiences they had on the show is INSANE and at such a young age! Rewatching the show as an adult make me realize that these 2 needed therapy after all they been through especially Lana who saw her parents get killed in front of her then become the FOTW favorite target 😪
Great work Gentlemen!! Smallville is pure Nostalgia and after over decade of not watching any of it Im back binging episodes at an alarming rate. Some things never change. Nothing but Love from Canada.
I was in high school when this show started. I had a rough freshman year of college and would watch episodes I had taped when I was feeling lonely. It's still a favorite comfort show. Really enjoying this podcast. 🥰
Its funny to see Tom and Michael's comments about having no clue of the spaceship key. It was a critical prop used in several episodes in season two but it was also two decades ago.
Awesome podcast once more, thank you so much. Lots of fun listening to your suspension of disbelief. I just find myself rolling with it most of the time because, well, it's Smallville!! Plus....THE KEY! There it is! It will be a big part of the show in the future. Finally got my Talk ville t shirt all the way in Australia, I'll be wearing it proudly! xx
This podcast has truly been a blast and something I always kind of wished would happen. I hope you guys have felt enough support to continue on to the next season and all the ones following, I know I'll be watching if you do.
Around 1.5-1.75 🌹. I like how the"freak of the week" is actually Lana but the bad guy is a police officer who wanted to be famous in a small town. Great character moments for a ton of the characters.
@@TalkVillePodcast no problem. I'll be comparing your count death and save count to the count on the wiki at the end of the season and see how they compare. So I'll be looking forward to that
I can’t express how happy i am listening to you two, it’s so fun to see what you guys think of the episodes. For Example how lex always tried fighting the bad and Clark definitely helped him with the friendship, but then lost Clark and his mom long ago, has a horrible father. I feel sorry for him honestly he deserved better. For the title I gotta say I am team Chlark all the way haha but Lana and Clark is amazing as well but he has this whole real friendship connection with Chloe, while Lana is always just a crush.
The best part about this week’s episode is the synopsis and the resultant friendly banter between Michael and Tom and of course Ryan at the end. Smallville had some good scenes especially the end one when Lex’s curiosity was set-alight 🌹+1/2
In some ways, Johnathan Kent had a hand in turning Lex into the evil lex we come to know. He's a great Dad but often a jerk to Lex for no reason. I love that the story is so nuanced- lex is intelligent and has a curiosity for the unexplained things that have happened in his life. Unfortunately, Jonathan's mistrust of Lex and protectiveness for his son cause the Kent family to constantly gaslight Lex. I'd probably turn into a villain too if my closest friend constantly made me question my reality and their family constantly questioned my character despite trying to prove myself. In many ways, Lex and Chloe are not so different - Lex is only seen as dangerous because he has the resources to look into these mysterious occurrences.
That one is hard for me to understand. It was a key plont point for multiple seasons, and they both held it in their hands multiple times. To not remember it at all is amazing to me.
Love this podcast! :) I love it that Clark did a double save. I love it that this episode was somewhat different than the freak of the week (nothing against freak of the week), because this time Lana had the powers. Clark was very sweet to invite Chloe to the spring formal. I especially loved it that we got a hint about Lois, long before she was on the show 😍 this episode is fun. 2 roses from me 🌹🌹
Obscura, with Lana ’s accidental visionary abilyty, tells us about the relationship between Clark and Clhoe in relation to herse, to Whitney also. And Lex’s thirst to understand the meaning of the meteorits shower , the spaceship with the " special object ", doesn’t mean for me any dark intention from him at this moment and you are all right in saying that the episode encouragés us even more to know the rest of the show. Happy to see that Ryan is going betterave to see Jason’s beautiful hair 😂 Thank you so much for these rich Wednesday, a treat 👍👏💙❤💖🙌🙌🙌
Funny how Lana wore that chunk of kryptonite around her neck for all those years and it didn't do a damn thing to her. But _these_ chunks of kryptonite are a few inches away from her face for a few seconds and boom. Plot-driving psychic powers. I guess it was the explosion, right? Just add fire?
I binged most of these episodes, so now that I only have one a week… IT IS KILLING ME! But I really enjoy it! Keep it up, guys!! ❤ And this is one of those episodes where you are convinced that everyone in Smallville must have some good therapy because Chloe being buried alive, Lana seeing through the eyes of a psycho who is then shot and killed… those alone are enough to send someone over the edge. And we are on season 1 😂
This exact thing kind of made me laugh because growing up I remember having to wait every week for a new episode of Smallville specifically and it's the same thing 20 years later now 😂
Was kind of disappointed they didn’t give Allison Mack praise for her scene in the hospital where she struggles with remembering and has a flashback. Top notch acting for sure. I felt it.
Did a rewatch of Obscura this morning. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!! Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and a wonderful holiday. Safe travels this week!! Thank you so much for all you guys do ❤️ Happy Talk Ville Wednesday ^_^ ❤️☄️🌽
This rewatch of Smallville and the Charmed rewatch are my favourite parts of the week! I really hope we get through the full series for both. There's so much more I think you guys will learn like the octagonal disk being the spaceship key hahah! Season 2 is going to be so fun with the introduction of more powers, and more character development! Can't wait to see the finale! I can't believe we're already there. Btw, I think the 22 to 24 episodes gives the audience more time to get to know and remember the characters, especially the smaller ones, than short seasons. That plus the really long gap between seasons these days makes me completely forget the story and the point of me watching that show. I often forget what I was following and just miss out on quite a few. I prefer my older favourites where the characters get time to grow in front of my eyes. I'd give this a 1.5 Rose for the scenes between Chloe and Clark, Martha, Jonathan and Clark, Clark and Lana, and Jonathan and Lex. If only Jonathan had trusted Lex more over the years and sooner then Lex would've maybe felt less alone and not turned evil. It was the distrust that excluded him and then Lionel just completely messing him up.
@@MShaiqable, It is fantastic :) I looked it up & have been listening to it. Thank you again for mentioning it :) I hope they'll someday have Wes Ramsey on the podcast, too (I would love to see their Charmed family unit complete, lol) :)

Absolutely love all the podcasts, Smallville has been and will always be my favorite TV show. Michael Rosenbaum is an absolute legend as Lex Luthor and Tom Welling is the definitive Clark Kent. Keep it up guys 🤘
My favorite scene in the episode is when Joe Morton delivers his lines at the end of the scene with Lex. I just like his delivery, his voice intonations, his body language... everything.
Great Podcast this week, guys. Filled in missing peoples seats, still questioned and praised the missing people/person AND had a Great show, like every other week. And now I'm excited about the 2 Parter for the Season Finale. Grewat show, EVERYONE. And thank you for doing this.
I always really liked the explosion scene at the beginning, I thought it looked great and still holds up :) Another thing I noticed for the entire season, besides the previous episode, Clark has not expressed any romantic interest in Chloe. He's always been after Lana and consulting her about her relationship with Whitney. But all of a sudden Lana's the one who's after Clark and is the one consulting him about his relationship with Chloe, even though Whitney is still in the picture.
18:00, starting to sound like us fans ❤ Stylistically I feel like this episode looks like a season 4-6 episode. Season 1 has a lot of gold tones with more white backgrounds, this episode looks really primary coloured with saturated backgrounds. Thought that was neat.
Exactly the trauma that Lana went through is insane not too mention that he was also about to shoot her. Rewatching the show as an adult I'm like damn these girls really went through near death experiences on a weekly basis 😵
Are you watching the podcast? You have to rewatch the episodes with them. I'm rewatching one episode a week with them, so I can get everything out of the podcast.
The last 3 episodes of season 1 are so good and from episode 18 Drone onward is when I was introduced to Smallville and have been a fan since 😁 The Kryptonian key is easily one of the simplest but also one of the coolest and iconic props from the show and definitely the spaceship 😌 Love the podcast guys 😁
Haha, I love how you guys will sign anything for fans without question that's awesome! Then you guys finally watched the show and figured out what you've been signing. Lol!amazing!
@37:50 I'm not sure if it's been explicitly mentioned in the show yet, but Clark is as strong or weak as he wants himself to be. An example would be he can't fly because he put that limitation on himself. In the comics he even states he eats because that's what humans do. He has mental barriers that stop him going too far. So even if he did something out of frustration, it wouldn't destroy the tractor because he has that limit set. So I HOPE going forward the guy that played Clark Kent won't question why he isn't walking around putting holes in the ground when he walks anymore or something similar.
I really liked that this episode casually referred back to smaller plot lines from previous episodes, with Lex and the reporters and stuff. Trusting that it has an audience following enough by this point.

I swear Michael is an amazing actor, like listening to him talk about the show but then watching him as lex.....the depth that he goes to to be lex
Definitely, I never see Michael while watching the show its all Lex. Thats how good he is.
IMO Best Lex Luthor ever. Michael has so much depth and talent. Love him.
10000% agree. In my head I know it is the same guy (Michael), but while watching Smallville episodes (many times over), I get pulled into the show & I do not feel like I am watching Michael on screen (only the bloopers reels reveal Michael, out of character, lol). So many layers to his superb acting 😍🤩
Best Lex, ever :)
I know he loves goofy comedy but honestly I think he's a very capable dramatic actor.
🤦🤦🤣
It must have been so odd for both of them to have fans ask them to sign it for years, yet it went as an unknown item to both of them, until they had finally filmed this podcast episode & figured it out 😍😂
"Bye Ryan, you're done." funny af!
Another great podcast lads! Enjoyed this episode, great acting from the main cast. Hope Ryan is feeling better, can't wait for the finale!
Going to be awesome
I rewatched too and since I am pretty new to the bandwagon, I recalled, the scene where Clark talks to Lana in the Loft, about Chloe's first visit to the farm in eighth grade, where she kissed him out of no where! It was exactly depicted in Season 8 episode 9 "Abyss". That is awesome to have kept the details intact after so many seasons, which Smallville itself have many times messed up! So kudos to that!! Thanks again!
"Double Save" LOL (He's not wrong.) Love this guys. C ya next week for sure. Season finale baby!!!!!
Double save for the win
I would love to see Annette as a guest!!! PLEEEEEASE!?
Soon enough
I think Lex saw Jonathan as a potential father figure to replace the monster of a father that he had. Lex was jealous of the Kent family and how close and supportive they were to each other, it's something that he once almost had before his mother died. So being outright rejected by Jonathan hurt him more than just the simple lines would imply.
"Did that vision come with an address?!" 🤣🤣 Legit, in EVERY SINGLE precognition/medium episode of any show, the visions never fully help haha
What I find funny in the episode is when Whitney suggest that he would drive Chloe and Clark to where Lana is, Chloe is like "yeah we are taking my car"
Maybe because Whitney has totalled his truck like 3 times by now. Haha
Also love that Tom and Michael are team Clana at this point in the series
🤣🤣🤣
They need to keep track of the number of cars that get totalled! How does anyone in Smallville afford insurance?
(But, I was amazed that Lana kept her burgundy Jeep for about 2 seasons!)
@@karenmarshall2045 I called in with a question like that! I don't know if it will ever make it onto the show though 😂
@@karenmarshall2045 lol yeah the jeep. And nobody talks about how clark changes his truck every year
I love jumping on my Talk Ville podcast as soon as it drops, but then sad when it's over and have to wait another week.
Appreciate you Jon
I have just discovered this podcast and basically binged through the entire first season in just two or three days - now have season two to go and then I'm in the same boat as you...
@@riddles_in_the_dark Welcome to the club. You should watch each episode before the podcast. It will stretch it out more.
Thanks buddy hope you stick around
34:34 I think Millar and Gough knew indeed what the key was for, because one episode later they already showed us.
its insane, we are already at episode 20. few weeks earlier we were at episode 5 :O how time passes by when you enjoy something. love the podcast.
But did they know for how long that key would be used?
I am surprised that the number of times Tom Welling picked it up as Clark that he does not remember it, but I guess it’s someone else’s hands for the closeup shots.
The hospital bills in Smallvile had to be incredible!!
It always made me laugh and say “did you see it??”
Anyway, love you both so much. As a teen I couldn’t choose if I was Team Lex or Team Clark, I thought you both were sexy hahaha
Haha appreciate the support ❤️ much love
I DID NOT KNOW THIS IS A THING!! Omg 😱 your show helped me through high school! There was nothing better than watching smallvillle on a bad day and I had a lot of those! I’d honestly would probably cry if I met any of you!
Love your energy on the show, guys! As Tom said about a good guest star bringing an energy to the performance, your energy brings a welcome energy to the humdrum of our lives. Thanks for that!
I would LOVE to get Tom's wife on once a season to get her review and opinion of the season, since she's watching the show for the first time.
I agree. Occasional input from Jessica would be great! Or maybe have her and Tom onscreen together for a podcast episode...
I would love this, too! :)
The best thing to listen/watch every Wednesday morning. Thanks guys for all the great insight. You guys make me laugh and love your guys banter.
❤️❤️
For real 😂
Great work Gentlemen!! Smallville is pure Nostalgia and after over decade of not watching any of it Im back binging episodes at an alarming rate. Some things never change. Nothing but Love from Canada.
The best podcast out there! What a wonderful journey this has been! Thanks for doing this for ALL of us! ❤
Later on when you get the back story of Clark’s adoption you understand why Jonathan mistrust the Luthers.
@Dayspring Lex is 100% untrustworthy.
I think Annette didn't flub that line--moms forget words all the time! 😂
Around 1.5-1.75 🌹. I like how the"freak of the week" is actually Lana but the bad guy is a police officer who wanted to be famous in a small town. Great character moments for a ton of the characters.
Solid. Thanks for sharing bud 🌹
Personally I'm team Clois haha but between Clana and Chlark, I also prefer Chlark.
Lana was his "love"
Yay team Chlark!
Agree
hahahaha I love how honest you guys are about not remembering the hexagon key and being ask to sign it by fans all this time
That one is hard for me to understand. It was a key plont point for multiple seasons, and they both held it in their hands multiple times. To not remember it at all is amazing to me.
Love this episode, Lex finds my favorite object in the show: The Octagonal Disk! 🛑
You guys have become my favorite part of the week... I hope you all in studio have a great rest of your week as well and get well soon Ryan!!
Love ya
I can’t wait until season 2 that’s when the show got better. And greetings from Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦
Can’t wait either
This podcast is a must watch every week!
You guys should do an episode as Lex and Clark. Like discuss why Clark couldn’t have just told Lex about his powers sooner
Love this podcast! :)
I love it that Clark did a double save.
I love it that this episode was somewhat different than the freak of the week (nothing against freak of the week), because this time Lana had the powers.
Clark was very sweet to invite Chloe to the spring formal.
I especially loved it that we got a hint about Lois, long before she was on the show 😍
this episode is fun. 2 roses from me 🌹🌹
If the plot of Lana getting visions made you roll your eyes I can't wait until you reach season where all the girls get possessed by witches LOL
I bet he’s gonna like that one
😂 he seemed to have fun in the witches episode.
Just add fire?
omg i just found this, how could i have missed so many episodes ! I have always been a huge fan of both since 2001
I will always like the first season because they did an amazing job of setting up the cliffhanger leading paying the way for future seasons.
You guys do such an excellent job pulling back the curtain on these reviews and I am super thankful for them. Thank you for doing these!
Thanks Jeff
"Rosenbaum, let it go!" Lol 😆 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Love the analysis of all the good, bad and ugly every week. You guys are so funny and a joy to listen to.
I love you guys this is forever the BEST Smallville of all times! 🥰
❤️
I binged most of these episodes, so now that I only have one a week… IT IS KILLING ME! But I really enjoy it! Keep it up, guys!! ❤
And this is one of those episodes where you are convinced that everyone in Smallville must have some good therapy because Chloe being buried alive, Lana seeing through the eyes of a psycho who is then shot and killed… those alone are enough to send someone over the edge.
I felt it.
great to see you everyweek guys it is entertaining and relaxing. possible talkshow live would be amazing
Lil Lisa!!!!! ❤️
So this means Clark IS THE BEST COP THIS TOWN HAS EVER SEEN!!!!!
Wow! I did not realize there was also a Charmed podcast. Thank you so much for mentioning it...just found my next fun binge activity :) 🤩
@@kerenolivero7097 Yes! It's called The Houe of Halliwell by Holly Marie Combs, Drew Fuller, and Brian Krause. It's so much fun!
@@MShaiqable, It is fantastic :) I looked it up & have been listening to it. Thank you again for mentioning it :) I hope they'll someday have Wes Ramsey on the podcast, too (I would love to see their Charmed family unit complete, lol) :)
@@kerenolivero7097 Right!? I really hope so too We'd get the whole Halliwell-Wyatt family. I'm so glad I was able to share it with another fan! You are very welcome. Now you get why i hope they finish the rewatch. It would be amazing to hear them talk about the seasons where Drew and Wes were actually on it. And the Cole stuff or season 3 drama or the ending, etc.
@@MShaiqable, I am a huge fan of both Smallville & Charmed & I 100% agree with you on all the points you had made. Regarding Charmed, I would love to hear them discuss all the seasons & all the cast & guest stars. Maybe we'll get to hear from their Grams (Jennifer Rhodes) & Mom (Finola Hughes), too. Oh & we could hear from James Read (Dad. cracked me up that they said they had 2 Dads, because of the 2 actors, lol). I would love to also hear from Piper's sisters, and there are so many more (Cole, Barbas, Andy, Zankou, Kyra...so many more beloved characters & would love to hear from the actors who had portrayed them ) :)
I also hope Talk Ville makes it through to all the seasons, there are many stories & characters to discuss here, too :)
Ah! one more thing: I was missing Ryan already and loved to see him at the end :) Cant wait to big finale
Funny that Tom says he doesn’t know what octagonal key is but he used it so much on the show 😂
I always really liked the explosion scene at the beginning, I thought it looked great and still holds up :) Another thing I noticed for the entire season, besides the previous episode, Clark has not expressed any romantic interest in Chloe. He's always been after Lana and consulting her about her relationship with Whitney. But all of a sudden Lana's the one who's after Clark and is the one consulting him about his relationship with Chloe, even though Whitney is still in the picture.
Love the podcast. Rewatching the show today I’ve really appreciated the real locations they used . The Kent farm is just a beautiful setting.
Yessssssss best way to spend celebrating my last med school exam for the year! 🎉❤ thank you
I love your podcast, I wait for it every Wednesday!!! Please keep doing this and reviewing the episodes !!! Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
Clanna , chlark I really thought you were having a stroke! Scared me for a second and I busted up laughing, thanks!
18:00, starting to sound like us fans ❤
Stylistically I feel like this episode looks like a season 4-6 episode. Season 1 has a lot of gold tones with more white backgrounds, this episode looks really primary coloured with saturated backgrounds. Thought that was neat.
Such a classic show love you guys are going back down memory lane makes me want to watch again
Tom: Bye Ryan, your done.....Jason your in!! 🤣🤣🤣 You guys are too cool man! Feel better Ryan! 🤟
I can’t imagine how traumatized Lana must’ve been after seeing through a madman’s eyes only to see him get capped! 😵😬
Exactly the trauma that Lana went through is insane not too mention that he was also about to shoot her. Rewatching the show as an adult I'm like damn these girls really went through near death experiences on a weekly basis 😵
Woot! Im so close to rewatching the show because of this podcast haha it would be nice to re live those episodes i saw so much as a teenager.
Here we are🙌! Yay! It's finally Talk Ville time👏! Obscura is one of my favorite episode of Season 1♥️. Thank you guys, Happy Thanksgiving! ♥️♥️♥️
❤️❤️
