Good Stuff! Really like the Akra OAP, its a great mod. TPC Adjustable Toe Links is another mod I did and really enjoying the improvement with high speed braking.
Thanks for the great comparison, did you find it unlocked noticeable power? Also I think you are in Europe as well, did you get around it setting off CEL?
Under 4000 the torque is much more noticable, not sure above, with all the noise i feel like it all becomes a mishmush. My CEL is on all the time now, I will update if i make a change to change that
@@ThePorscheDFense Not yet, the porsche will still run and you will get the natural boost. Just there is a light, thats all. I will remap once the KATS go.
Hello, nice vid. I would like to delete OPF but I have 2 years porsche approved warranty. So I think to just install link pipes and do not remap, living with the CEL on or cancelling it. Do you think it's ok for long time?
I remapped after time because the problem is that you can not tell if there is another engine problem if its lit up all the time, and one time that became useful after i had one small issue
@@VincenzoSilvestri I do not recommend it, i had it before i programmed it out, and it messed with my ECU, tempomat did not work, the car had weird electronic glitches. The ECU is pretty compact and complex so yeah.
Do you have any shots from outside? I feel that inside there is a lot of engine/induction noise. I also have a GT4, but in Gentian Blue. 😁 I've ordered my Akrapovic OAP, but it's taking forever to arrive in Canada.
I do not! I can try to make some with the better microphone but yeah, lets see what I can cook up. The GT4 is the perfect car, never looked to get anything more pricey or anything else even when it was a option. Best car hands down. Akrapovic is taking years to deliver! I hope you do not wait until christmas, I found mine lightly used.
The difference in sound is subtle at least what I can tell by listening to a video. Do you find the change in sound to be more significant from the drivers seat? It seams to be a little higher pitch with Akra over axle pipes. Would you say that is true?
Id say check again on a different pair of headphones, listen to the engine vowels, it sounds like the engine is actually in the car now and not next to the car behind a blanket. The Axle pipes have made it more pronounced, not sure if higher pitch or lower pitch, but the vowels are a lot more pronounced and tunnel runs are now a matter of having ears hurt vs. just a bit of fun. It has become much louder the engine on the outside.
Never has issues even on Salzburgring which is 96Dba but can reach to 102Dba, i will be measuring it when the KAT delete happens but before i have no idea, it is around 100+ for sure though. Its about as loud as the old gt4
@@mannysingh6618 worth it, the heat build up is so much less and healthier for every component, especially the axles as when you sit after track one can feel the heat at the rear arches pour out in stock setup but after i installed the titanium its much less heat. I have never been on spa but would like to visit! If you want to link up for a trackday depending on the organisers, let me know!

I can honestly not hear any difference.

Great video, over axle pipes are a must, not too expensive to do either.
How did you delete the engine light with this set up ?
Now it is software programmed out.

Yes, especially when around 3k and giving not much gas on autobahn

Does this setup pass track noise limits? Do you know what the drive by db level is please?
