I guess you could take that Boeing part out to your nearest large airport and see if you can get an aircraft maintenance guy to have a look at it for you?
@craft-o-matic399 yea - right now it's on the shelf 😀
Positively would not miss it! ( :
Doc Brown seems to have lived there building the flux capacitor
Lol 100% true!!!
@@beardedthriftmachine 😆
I’m sitting here hollering at you get the hammers ,get the gauges that ain’t water it’s oil they expensive ,get the whole box ,you wore me out
Lol - I wish I knew about the guages
I cleaned up at this estate sale, bought several items for $2 each and already sold one item for $60 and another one for $250!
Your Dad would have loved this garage sale!!
It's sad that you have to pass away before anyone Appreciates your treasures. Thats why I'm selling my stuff now.
I need to. I wish more resellers did clean outs like Taco Stacks. That's a great way to get stock. Imagine the subs they'd get if they did clean outs for people in need. So many seniors are on the verge. I need to sell my stuff to get by or get out as my rent keeps increasing, and you know the rest. SS has been messing with me, and many others. I would hope there will be helps like that, but I haven't found them yet, as I'm not rich, and live in an apartment. I would guarantee some treasures, but the good deed is what will guarantee their success. I hope someone picks up my idea and contacts me, Lol.
I think that little tape splicer may be for splicing old reel to reel type movies or music together.
Congrats on the big 100K 🎉 and well deserved you two!!!! ❤
My husband said that those are old molar piston heads for a 429 hemi, worth money
I would have had fun looking through all of that! Also, I think Murano usually has a polished base. If the base isn't polished, it's usually made in China. At least, that's what I learned from Crazy Lamp Lady. =)
USAF avionics tech here. Boeing liquid pressure transducer.
Part numbers will help. Might be for a Piper Cub.
Congrats on 100K subscribers!!!! Another great video. Love that you got to dig through all the weird fun stuff!! Happy Holidays!
Love that onyx plate
Yea I thought that was a cool find
WOW....Now THAT is a wild estate sale full of hoarded items. What a dream.
Congrats on 100k subs! Awesome!
Thank you so much 😀
Yay Julian and Kayla !!!!@@beardedthriftmachine
So much stuff! Can't look fast enough lol. Some gems but a lot of obsolete items. It's great when you have a good Estate sale company that has good pricing and will work with you. Overwhelming for sure!
Yea I was all over the place - when its like that you know how it to keep your mind on one area
Dr. Lori the appraiser has video of how to tell Murano glass from the knock off stuff
I know it's An Ant Sucking Pump to clean out your Ant Impailing Trap you showed a coupla video's ago 🤣🤣🤣 Definately a box of mystery thats gunna keep your spare time taken care of researching your box 👍🇦🇺🦘
Oh I was laughing so hard on Scott's post!!
Omg! This sale would make me so anxious!! Too much stuff spread out everywhere 😊
That plate looks like mille Fiore Murano. I would not be too stuck on the smooth bottom. I purchased a glass elephant in Murano, in the actual workshop that doesn't have a smooth bottom. Enjoy.
The Hyponex thing is for plant food.
You made Tim the tool, man. Very happy! 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I love hearing your Midwest roots coming through. When you apologized for being in the way you said “Ope, Sorry.” 😊
Ah, he's Midwestern? I've thought the last name would be more at home in MN or WI than SC. 😀
Grab the inverters for sure.
They are worth some good money
Some glass paper weights with that pattern on the bowl sell for big BIG money. The call the pattern "closepack". Check it out
Congratulations on 100K !!! Whoop, whoop! 25:14
The plate you suspect is Murano is a pattern called “Mille fiore “ which means millions of flowers.
You use the mixer to feed your plants. Usually attach to you garden hose.
Its showing 100k Subscribers Congratulations.
Thanks so much for watching!!
well done on the 100K. quite an achievement. Keep up the good content.
That sale reminded me of all the tools and such my Dad had in his barn. I didn't know what half the stuff was and Dad didn't have the patience to show you what they did. He would always say quit nibbing. He however had a lot of manuals from the 40s through the 70s.
Hey, folks! Re the Boeing mystery part, and I don’t have any experience with this particular type of thing, but there are Facebook groups for the wildest things. I’d say if you found one for airplane parts (the Boeing reference) or engineering, they could at least point you to a better resource. I’ve gotten some crazy good info this way.
That is, I think, a pressure-activated switch made by Meletron for Boeing. The "cellphone" may be a beeper. The sprayer is for plant food. The onyx is Mexican.
Obviously you did very well, I don’t know anything about this stuff. That was awesome prices ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Me either- there was alot of research and I still don't know about a couple pieces
Too bad you didn't take the chance on the oil filled gauges. My husband uses quite a few in the gas patch.
Yea - I wish I did there are alot listed not too many sold - but what have been easy list and ship
Not trying to be mean but those are pistons, not piston heads. Since there was 8 of them I’d say it was a complete set for a v8. Not sure if the tops were corroded since they probably were aluminum, but that could be an issue selling them if they are corroded. Just trying to help. Guys like nice clean shiny smooth pistons when doing a rebuild. Lot of good stuff in there and at good prices! Need to checkout local auto swap meets during the summer time! They bring all kinds of stuff to those other than car parts and tools. One of these days I’ll get these stickers I’ve been saving for you in the mail! Lol
Congratulations on hitting 100K. Be Proud. Enjoy your holiday and Be Safe
I've been through a couple of dusty houses like this recently. One was filled with cool old TV equipment, likely from the early 50s. Really cool stuff to look at, but no real value anymore. But maybe I missed out on the opportunity to sell that stuff as decor. Like that thing you were holding early on.
I really enjoy your demeanor and your attitude. You guys rock. I've been PT reselling for 2 years. I just bought a GoPro 10 and have been collecting content to join you soon on the Tube!
I would have had such a hard time focusing at a sale like that, there was so just so much! It looks like y’all did alright and there are resources to find out what all y’all picked up. Really nice job.🥰
I'm thrilled for you, you have 100,000 subscribers.
Happy Holidays.
I like watching the videos, MERRY CHRISTMAS
11:18 That is a BEAUTIFUL tool cabinet!
That was the craziest sale you've ever taken me to I don't know whether I liked it or whether I didn't but I just pray that you look that stuff up and you made some good honey maybe we can see Kayla stuff later God bless you and stay safe
Yahoo showtime 🎉
Thank you for being here!!! =)
It’s Millefoiri
Whoot....congrats on 100k!!!
Thank you !!!
Meletron specializes in pressure actuated aircraft switches
Gongrats on 100k!🎉
Thanks so much for watching!!
I like learning about interesting little things like this. Not many other resellers on UA-cam do this. I learned a lot from Osbornthrift with electronics, but he doesn't post on UA-cam anymore. Awesome video!
oh no! Why’d Osbourne Thrift stop posting?! He had such great content!
@Ingrid.Taylor I messaged him a while back, and he said that editing and making videos for UA-cam was very time-consuming, especially with a family. I know he's still on Instagram.
I think I had an electrical timer box like the one you looked at hooked to my water heater many years ago. 🤗
We had that joy stick from Comp USA. It was free as part of a Black Friday sale. We gave it too e of our kids for Christmas.
Piston 454 30 over. Should ask were the car is.
I knew someone would know what they went to !
Audio oscillator could be a reverb unit. Pistons look like for a 390 or 427 big block. Roofers axes. Tape splicer for video tapes. Mallory battery. Boeing thing could be used for the on board Gyroscope. I would have bought the pistons.
I like that if you don't know what something is, you say so, instead of pretending to be an expert on everything.
wow my husband would of loved to see all that with electrical...
That’s a beautiful piece of Onyx
Insanity, how long were you there, boxes, and boxes. God bless stay safe until the next video 💓 😍
Congrats on 100K!!!
I would have loved that estate sale.
That was the most eclectic sale you have ever been to. I was guessing that the guy had been an electrical contractor but a communications contractor makes more sense. Great job, very interesting.
If this was the second day 😩 I can only imagine what was there on day 1. I wouldn't even like thinkin about it !!😳 Sorry. I was trying to wrap my head around all that stuff to evaluate its worth, but the hurry factor was in play with the other pickers pokin around too. Love the leg lamp!! Haha
I visit most of the same thrift stores while visiting sister in Pawleys Island. What are some of the best yearly community sales do you attend.?
Peaches to Beaches in GA was wonderful before Covid. It has been coming back slowly.
that electrical timer thing runs my pool pump. ❤❤🌹
Electrical items have copper in them, if it doesn't work strip the copper out. Lots of money in copper
❤❤love the vlogs👍👍
The Melatron is a pressure or vacuum actuated switch
Interesting 👍🏼
Hey, Justin you should've watched today's Made in America feature in David Muir's newscast. They were at the Igloo cooler factory...btw, you missed one when you first walked in😅
Who is Justin?
@@edgecitytraders5498 maybe a spell check issue? 🤷♀️ Happens to me all the time especially when I don’t proof read before sending.
Julian, but Justin is a nice name as well lol
Shoulda checked out those old Christmas lights
that plate matches a waste bin I found at goodwill could be agate paid $14.00 retail onine $300 +
24:38 My husband worked on helicopters in the Army. He says it looks like a valve for a hydraulics system.
That Boeing part for the plane is a blinker……….relay
Lol 😅🤣
@@beardedthriftmachine glad you knew I was joking. lol 😂
what a sale caught one of those a year ago with a picking buddy overwhelming
no kayla go pro in this one would been intresting what she decied to pickup or pass on
Yea the inside was hard to film
100k subscribers ❤
When I was 18, I had a two door Datsun orange n white stripes and had a huge hole in passenger side. 😂❤
Y’all and other UA-camrs find the most awesome Estate Sales! Every one I go to here is run by a Company that jacks up the price on everything such that you can’t make $$.
A lot of great looking stuff amongst all that lot, Julian, loved the onyx plate, that video game controller.... do you know they control planes with those things now... have seen them in A320's :)
yes! And pls be sure to check your “obsolete” computer cables and old phones etc. U wld be shocked! I just sold a monitor we used with alarm system, same connection on cable, and it sold for 3-4x what we initially paid for it. My point in my rambling…. Old stuff sells….
😊
thanks so much for watching!!! =)
@@beardedthriftmachineI can't see you and I'd love to be able to email about something I found.
fyi you can't sell the spider on Ebay . lol. as always great content.
You missed the tyco train controller….. you put it down…… easy $50-100 depending on model
By chance are you related to "Grimes Finds" Not only to you resemble him, you sound like him and use some of the same phrases as him(like that was my name in high school) By the way I love your videos.
No we are not related - that’s an old joke my dad use to say lol
Her Kayla I found something that I wanted to ask you about. I'd love to be able to get in touch with yall. I live in North Carolina and would gladly bring yall stuff from up here.
Hey ! - Best way to get into contact with us is beardedthriftmachine@yahoo.com: )
You should of taken your dad with you
yea - there was alot i learned on this one
Close the boxes after you open them
There were about 20 people behind going through them - and the guy running it told us to go through everything... and keep it out so people could see..
If you have an old computer with an on old operating system you have more access to internet searches.
howdy!!!
Hey!!! Thanks so much for watching!!!
Would you ship the little dish to Scotland
What app do you use to price an item you find?
Ebay - and go to sold items
Piston Heads ?
Weird ssle. I am getting to recognize some ot the things you will pck up. makes it interesting. Most of that is stuff an Electrician would want or know..
1:58 You pick up things that I would be afraid to touch. Whatever that is looks like an electrocution hazard!
Got a little carried away at that place
... but... but not a cooler in sight 😕! Phooey 😊.
I saw one right in the beginning, and I was surprised that he never even glanced at it.
@@karenkuhr5698 Sorry I missed it... he's a riot when it comes to coolers and I can't help but to have fun with it ...a running joke 😁.
@@margaretsiggilino and the best part is there was a Made in America segment on 60 Minutes about them. I sent him that info
I would have spent A $1000 there. Eagle
What was the Boeing part #?
It was blank 😳
@beardedthriftmachine If I had to take a guess, I'd say it's a vacuum pump for aircraft avionics.
OK two problems with the sale one is you did not call me the second one is I would still be there the third problem is I haven't stopped yelling at you through the computer. Sorry if you heard me.
When you run into electrical stuff wouldn't it make sense to give your brother a call...duh!!
Lol - probably 🤣
PISTON HEADS HAAAAAAA Amateur.
SUMMARY - looks at hundreds of items. Doesn’t know what most of them are. But someday he’s going to look them up. I learned nothing.
