    I have an American Indian wedding vase my sister's friend, who is an Inuit indian from Alaska, made fir my husvand and I veten she first moved to Seattle. That is definitely an Indian wedding vase! Apparently, during the ceremony, both the bride and groom will drink from the the vase as part of their vows. Very cool! ( : Great find. ( :

    Lived in Australia where the Banksia plant grows and that is a pod that they used to make that little vase I bought Banksia pods that were turned into Christmas ornaments.

      I've made a mini jar of shells on a necklace for my cousin once. it was shells i collected at a beach so she could have it since she likes mermaids, shells, and stuff.

    In the Lego instruction books is an inventory list of parts needed for the set. If it looks like you have most of the parts, it can be beneficial to see if you can complete the set. I have found several $100+ sets in one bag of legos from goodwill, several times. For me it’s like a treasure hunt!

      @@beardedthriftmachine the bigger green base looked like Duplo, that is Lego but for smaller kids. the first book you picked up looked to be Bionical, also a lego product. My wife worked for Lego for 16 years. great company to work for.

    I just sold 70lbs of Lego raw with mini figs. Sold it all for 350 plus shipping. Could have made way more if I went through it all. However my toddler kept dumping bags out so it had to go. Still doubled my $$$

    Hi Guys really enjoy your videos, learning lots about lego prices, I work in a thrift shop in outback Australia, we call them op shops here, everything this week is $1, unless it's marked 50 cents. I love going to work, the bargains are unreal. You would love it, we do get lots of resellers, we don't care as they spend heaps of money. We also have bag sales $5 a bag, fill it up. love from Oz

    New sub here ... WOW y'all have a good Habitat for Humanity restore. Ours is only building product. We do have a lot of thrift stores in our area. Like 15 in a 30 mile radius! Between Goodwill, American Rescue Workers, Salvation Army and the independent owned.

    We had a Habitat for Humanity here where I live and their prices were incredible , especially if you got the half price tag things

    Jules, you're so funny! Fun checking out shops. Myrtle Beach used to look more like that. It's pretty, but you do know Spanish Moss is a parasite, don't you. It will eventually kill/damage trees. I suppose you could display some on a piece of driftwood safely. I liked the book for some reason, and the onyx?marble? eggs. Blessings, Cat

      Oh no. I watch so much Crazy Lamp Lady I think I can pick it out at 50 paces!! Course I watch 100% of Bearded Thrift Machine too. But she puts out daily content. You learn a lot from her about glass and pottery. :)

    String art has made a resurgence recently. Personally, I don't get it, because when I was a kid in the 70s, I didn't.like them. But the scenery is beautiful,and most of the prices are good. Nice stuff!

    If it’s like in Tennessee, people have a habit of taking things out of boxes and spreading pieces all over the place. Not sure what they think they’re doing by doing it. They also tend to try to change prices on items. It’s aggravating.

      Usually the cheapos are just basic onyx, or ugly dyed ones.
      A pretty jasper or agate isn’t from china usually.

    On the episode I am watching now your wife pick up a oil burner, she says it feels like wood that is actually from Australia, it made from what the call a Banksia seed pod they are really cool to turn them on a lathe!

    Yes to the Legos. Are the other ones Mega Blocks? My son collected those sets, also. The bases, alone, are worth money. My sister lives in Blufton, SC right across the bridge from Hilton Head. I want to go down there now and go to the shops that you have been going to.

    Lego can be big money but lots are time consuming to separate. I find it fun because I build along the way (also good to show a finished picture of a set in the listing) but some people don't.

    We have an Am Vet thrift store that puts books on sale at 10/$1.00 and $20/$1.00
    I find some GREAT books for our booth.

    Honestly I would have bought those eggs small eggs like that can go for $20 a piece and those were like dinosaur eggs get a little stand and a glass shield for one and its a dinosaur collectors center piece 😅
