I have an American Indian wedding vase my sister's friend, who is an Inuit indian from Alaska, made fir my husvand and I veten she first moved to Seattle. That is definitely an Indian wedding vase! ( : great video! I always love your trip video sets! Sooo fun! ( : Thanks so much for sharing!! ( :
Great finds. I don't think you'll regret buying the tub of Legos. I'm so jealous of you being able to hit all those thrift stores. Now I really can't wait to go on vacation. Keep Hustlin'!!
Lived in Australia where the Banksia plant grows and that is a pod that they used to make that little vase I bought Banksia pods that were turned into Christmas ornaments.
I've made a mini jar of shells on a necklace for my cousin once. it was shells i collected at a beach so she could have it since she likes mermaids, shells, and stuff.
Love watching you! Finding thrift stores that aren't Goodwill is Wonderful.. So much Fun! WOW~ you are Compatible signs.. No wonder you get along so well. COOL..
In the Lego instruction books is an inventory list of parts needed for the set. If it looks like you have most of the parts, it can be beneficial to see if you can complete the set. I have found several $100+ sets in one bag of legos from goodwill, several times. For me it’s like a treasure hunt!
@@beardedthriftmachine the bigger green base looked like Duplo, that is Lego but for smaller kids. the first book you picked up looked to be Bionical, also a lego product. My wife worked for Lego for 16 years. great company to work for.
I just sold 70lbs of Lego raw with mini figs. Sold it all for 350 plus shipping. Could have made way more if I went through it all. However my toddler kept dumping bags out so it had to go. Still doubled my $$$
Hi Guys really enjoy your videos, learning lots about lego prices, I work in a thrift shop in outback Australia, we call them op shops here, everything this week is $1, unless it's marked 50 cents. I love going to work, the bargains are unreal. You would love it, we do get lots of resellers, we don't care as they spend heaps of money. We also have bag sales $5 a bag, fill it up. love from Oz
New sub here ... WOW y'all have a good Habitat for Humanity restore. Ours is only building product. We do have a lot of thrift stores in our area. Like 15 in a 30 mile radius! Between Goodwill, American Rescue Workers, Salvation Army and the independent owned. Thanks for taken us along w ya! We are heading out to hit ours tomorrow. Keep em coming, you're a joy to watch. Here in Central PA. Blessings ~ 🧶
@@beardedthriftmachineour main one, downtown has a free bin by the door. I sat and dug thru the entire thing, found a 60’s gi joe figure + many other goodies…. Unfortunately its lost in my now upgraded death room - Pile is an overstatement. Sending out an S o S 😂😂😂
Jules, you're so funny! Fun checking out shops. Myrtle Beach used to look more like that. It's pretty, but you do know Spanish Moss is a parasite, don't you. It will eventually kill/damage trees. I suppose you could display some on a piece of driftwood safely. I liked the book for some reason, and the onyx?marble? eggs. Blessings, Cat
Oh no. I watch so much Crazy Lamp Lady I think I can pick it out at 50 paces!! Course I watch 100% of Bearded Thrift Machine too. But she puts out daily content. You learn a lot from her about glass and pottery. :)
String art has made a resurgence recently. Personally, I don't get it, because when I was a kid in the 70s, I didn't.like them. But the scenery is beautiful, and most of the prices are good. Nice stuff!
If it’s like in Tennessee, people have a habit of taking things out of boxes and spreading pieces all over the place. Not sure what they think they’re doing by doing it. They also tend to try to change prices on items. It’s aggravating.
On the episode I am watching now your wife pick up a oil burner, she says it feels like wood that is actually from Australia, it made from what the call a Banksia seed pod they are really cool to turn them on a lathe!
Yes to the Legos. Are the other ones Mega Blocks? My son collected those sets, also. The bases, alone, are worth money. My sister lives in Blufton, SC right across the bridge from Hilton Head. I want to go down there now and go to the shops that you have been going to.
Lego can be big money but lots are time consuming to separate. I find it fun because I build along the way (also good to show a finished picture of a set in the listing) but some people don't.
That first book reminds me that I just can’t figure out how so many books are sold for $4 with FREE shipping!!! The media mail is close to $5 alone. What is the point of losing money on every sale?
I had to drive ambulance to repair shop...I worked for auto transport.....it was getting dark dusk.....I was so creeped out driving that...I kept thinking Dr Lecter silence of the lambs...Soo f__ creeped out out my skin was crawling...
Not gonna lie, 2:15 made me a bit second-hand nervous for you both. Totally thought that some employee was going to think that book was about to go into that bag right there
Couldn't believe you were hesitant over the Lego. I used to be into buying hand bags clutch bags but my girlfriend just ends up owning them, well their mine and she has them on loan , permanent loan
Julian yes you are getting old if you can't hear or think when music is loud, lol 😂😅. Nice find on the Lego bin. God bless stay safe until the next video 💓 😍
Honestly I would have bought those eggs small eggs like that can go for $20 a piece and those were like dinosaur eggs get a little stand and a glass shield for one and its a dinosaur collectors center piece 😅
Thanks so much for watching !!!
Thanks for sharing everyday! You two have to be part of my fav day to day duo 😊
I was wondering what you two found today! ( : Soo pretty behind you! ( :
I only follow you and one other reseller called Rad Resells. Watching from Ireland
That store has ALOT of nice things for a dealio
Thanks for sharing your fun times . I look forward to watching . I don’t watch any other pickers .

I think Kayla could make some awesome Souvenirs of beach sand and small shells... with a beautiful tag stating where the beach is from... go Kayla 🎉🎉
I agree !!! :)
Good idea free sand
Yup! I said the same thing a few GW's ago! Lol! ( :

Nice time at the thrift stores and you found great items. The Legos were an amazing find! Good luck with your thrifting while in Beaufort ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Oo Kayla, the little test tubey jars are going to be great for so many of your jewelry bits 'n pieces!
Definitely!!

It's good to know that the Lego instruction books sell. I kept all of my son's in plastic sleeves in a binder. 🎉

Thank you !
Loved the different stores and scenery! Y'all have fun because we're already waiting on the NEXT one!!
I always feel it's bad luck for the next video when you don't actually slam your hand on anything 😂

We had a Habitat for Humanity here where I live and their prices were incredible , especially if you got the half price tag things
Yea we don’t even have sales in our area

Oh hi Willow. Sweet baby girl. Hope she’s having some fun too!
I saw kaylas pot charms. They are beautiful. One suggestion. You should buy her some large looping pliers. Save her hands.
Ah man. I love Beaufort! Was stationed there and enjoyed the town and area so much. Hilton Head is beautiful.
Hi Willow!❤ Fun trip! Great Leggo find!
Thanks so much for watching!!!
I just dropped off 2 bins of kids clothes and a stroller to a local thrift store; I hope other kids can gain from it. 😊
Love watching you two thrifting and Beautiful pics
the wooden thing you show at 8mins is a banksia scent pot, yw 😆
It called a metronome, and omg that 1970 foxy brown music is LOUD I feel like I'm in a bad porn haaa
It's a banksia seed pod

So you didn’t get the Murano bowl for $5?? It looked like it could have been Murano with all of that aventurine in the glass. 😢
Kayla put it back

22:20 - Hozho on the bottom of the wedding vase means “harmony or balance” in Navajo
The oil burner is made from a banksia pod.

Yes, that brown thing is made out of a Banksia plant seed pod here in Australia, they were popular in the 1970's when I was a teenager, cool
“Look under her skirt.” OMG LMAO
Great work-lacation!
Enjoying your trip to Hilton Head and area.
Love it here - such a nice place
At 7:56 the object is called Banksia nut. Its a seed pod that home lathe enthusiasts like to use
I've seen the onyx eggs for sale at Wayfair. Because of that, you're not sure where it came from, I would have left it behind as well.
I agree ! That’s what I was worried about
Usually the cheapos are just basic onyx, or ugly dyed ones.
A pretty jasper or agate isn’t from china usually.
And they looked like they were very obviously pieced together. I collect eggs like this, but probably wouldn't have purchased these.
Your dog looks like a real cuddle bug!
On the episode I am watching now your wife pick up a oil burner, she says it feels like wood that is actually from Australia, it made from what the call a Banksia seed pod they are really cool to turn them on a lathe!
At 12:57, that is a piece of fused glass. It likely would have been a good pickup.

Yes. I think that Star Wars figure that is a Kenner is pretty good
Yes that was a bonus
We have an Am Vet thrift store that puts books on sale at 10/$1.00 and $20/$1.00
I find some GREAT books for our booth.
You are right. It is loud in the stores.
i know right!
Maybe the music is suppose to distract you so you want to buy more. 🤷🏼♀️
Are you like Slim Shady Julian? 😂
What a beautiful area to be thrifting. And no you aren't getting old it's just getting ridiculous how loud places play music these days.
That first book reminds me that I just can’t figure out how so many books are sold for $4 with FREE shipping!!! The media mail is close to $5 alone. What is the point of losing money on every sale?
Cheap is one thing.
Inexpensive is the best word for that.
Since Antiques Roadshow came out many years ago, these shops have gotten too expensive.
That String art reminds me of Prison Artwork, not that I’ve ever been in prison but I just remember back in the early 80’s prison art was a big thing😅
Like your videos. I sure hope you had a window down some for your dog.
It got colder here but regardless they take care of their baby. 👍
Yes we get this a ton when dog is in the car - I’ll start putting the degree in the car in the videos lol
Could the fuzzy stuff on your wood candle holder be moss?
I think it’s the inside of the seed thing
Love the Spanish moss!
The Derelict restaurant in Beaufort... not sure it's still in business... but it was terrific many years ago...
7:44 That is a banksia seed pod from Australia. People make all sorts of cool things with them.
