Absolutely he's a top grade mechanic, and has some pretty good fabrication skills too - he knows how to do stuff properly, though in a project like Earl here, he knows not to waste too much time and effort on a car that'll never be road worthy again. IMO this engine is wasted in a chassis that is excessively compromised & should be crushed - but I guess this is more about entertainment than producing something worth owning.

Structurally there’s no issues whatsoever, needs a new radiator support of some kind and some engine bracing but absolutely not is this cars structure comprised whatsoever. You clearly are lost however because stripping a wiring harness is one of the most painful processes that can be involved in a project like this. Hence why most people buy brand new harnesses for 1,000-2,000$ from wiring specialties. You couldn’t be further from reality.

With a sleeved block, bored and built with all forged internals. And still only 800 conservatively. It’s not a 2jz vvti or non vvti and it never will be. It’s a 500-1,000$ junkyard engine. Period. And you can’t waste a 500-1,000 junkyard engine by putting it in anything. Only way to waste that is destroying it.

Joshua Lee I’m pretty sure he was using a snap on seam ripper to remove the wrap on the wiring harness. I only noticed because it’s typically a sewing tool, that no doubt works perfectly for removing harness wrap.
You should buy a set off SS Harley twin pipes. It'll be cheap,look custom, and they sound good. you only need to knock a hole in the center baffel of each muffler.
Imagine if the Wizard and Jared got together and worked on their various projects for a couple of weeks. That would make some amazing, videos and lots of cars getting done.
I'd run the waste gate pipe along the under side of the side exit exhaust. French em together as they exit the fender and do an extremely angled baloney cut/tear drop cut....
