I absolutely LOVE how Nick goes from young, lively, energetic, and confrontational, to my grandpa at the end when he doesn't get something and just utters "I don't know . . . . . . . ". He's the BEST.
The funny thing is that he has no vocabulary for certain things, like Midwest US history, but often hits the nail on the head in his circuitous way! And he’s got some rural sensibilities lol! “You know what else I love about cows? How they taste!” The old 4Her in me just loves him ❤
Also there is absolutely no reason to know e ve ry thing. And Nick's question about who is actually 'weighing the clouds' is more than legitimate. People do all kinds of weird shit and try to justify it by making it 'science'. I'm not denying physics, but stop hitting me with facts only you find not boring. Yes, I said it. 💜😙
Haha, I noticed that too. Okay, Einstein, the team is heading to football practice. Watching this is like the blind leading the blind, although Matteo's answers are more right than wrong.
i think the issue is nick is thinking of clouds as a solid object. if someone had told him clouds are just a gas, like the vapor in the bathroom when you get out of the shower, maybe he'd understand it better. not understand it fully, because it's nick, but better
I love the obligatory segment at the beginning where Mateo interrupt everything to roast the F**k out of the absolutly LUDICROUS outfit that Nick is wearing.
I disagree, most public schools are focused on making people employable. Nick had plenty of education that allowed him to succeed in the entertainment industry. If Nick had told his school counselor that he wanted to be a nuclear physicist, then I would agree with you.
@ssgtmole8610 Yeah, I don't know where you went to school. In the schools I've attended and my siblings and extended family members, none a damn obe was asked what we wanted to do. You are taught the core classes and a few electives. In those core classes (science specifically), they go over the water cycle on our planet. You are taught the basics to build a foundation on later in higher education/trade schools. Also, Nick is a real-estate agent, not an entertainer by career.
@@BiohazardBinkie777 Guess George W's "Every Child Left Behind" was a bit lamer than I thought. I went through career search several times - I think the first time was 7th grade. That was in the 1970s. In 10th grade I did experience the electronics shop in my high school being shut down, but that was built around a 1950s program to churn out television repairmen working with vacuum tube technology. Nick trained as a singer and participated in high school productions. I doubt his desire was to work in Real Estate.
Dear Nick, i absolutely ADORE you but the amount of stress i have from knowing you’re going to get Hello Fresh when you NEVER read directions is killing me! ❤️😂
Love this show! On the subject of clouds - they do fall out of the sky... it's called rain. The reason a cloud can weigh a million lbs is because we're looking at the weight of all of the water suspended in the air instead of the weight of the individual particles. It's like when you see dust waft across the room, all the dust together would make a small rock - couldn't stay afloat - but separately it makes a cloud of dust that does float. When the particles of water run into each other they become heavier and heavier to the point that they fall and become rain - or snow, hail, et cetera. There are a lot of other really important pieces to how it works, but at the very basic level that's clouds.
"And the bottom of you is the witch from the Looney Tunes". This caused me to cackle like my beloved Witch Hazel. When Matteo gets Nick howling with genuine laughter, it just makes my day. Woo cows are mentioned! Baby cow is a calf! They are working on an animal feed ingredient that helps to reduce methane produced by dairy cows.
I really enjoy watching Nick try to reason things out. “Well I watched this Instagram Reel about bees, so therefore honey must expire around six months.”
The honey never spoils fact is a really narrow example. Yes, Ancient Egyptians stored some honey in conditions that meant it wouldn't spoil no matter how much time passes, but you introduce the right bacteria to honey, it will spoil.
I mean, I could be wrong but if you put honey in any kind of air tight container like a mason jar, it will never spoil. (it won't taste the same though)
Honey stored properly won’t harbour any bacteria. The high sugar content prevents any of the typical bacterial growth relating to spoilage. Also environmental humidity reacts with the enzymes present in honey producing hydrogen peroxide as a byproduct which further prevents spoilage.
The way nick cites all of those reels about bees for like a minute to come to his 6 months conclusion only for mateo to take a guess in like 3 words and be right is so funny to me
@@mrmr4622 true, could they do that if he was cremated as well? Or is he somehow right that it would be easier to be "brought back to life" if you're not cremated? I can't believe he might have a point about this lolol

today nick discovers the concept of buoyancy, clouds can weigh a lot but still float around in the upper atmosphere in the same way a cargo ship can weigh over 100,000 tons (200 million pounds) and yet not sink in the ocean. The air is just another fluid just like the ocean and what determines whether something floats or sinks in a fluid is not just weight.
