Your videos are so great! First time I tried to respect the 4 phases and already pumped much better (with a wing foiling setup). Before your videos I was always directly pushing onto the front foot after back leg push and wondered why it is so hard xD.
Amazing breakdown of your technique! I’ve been looking at video of Nicholas Iten and he seems to have a similar technique, which I’ve been struggling to emulate. This video helps massively!
more questions :) could you in your next videos (if possible) for the moment show the body work from a different perspective?, from the front or from behind? question 2: if you have hands free(no camera), is the body work exactly the same? do you add the forearm work for longer distances? I think a selfie stick can help with stabilization like an acrobat's balancing pole
you are a hero! I watch your videos and I think I will start learning this amazing sport in the spring. If my wife doesn't kill me when she sees the toys I want to buy... Does pumping put a lot of strain on the spine? Because I'm a bit worried about that.
i also have a back situation and unless you want to try 2 meters acid drop starts, you are good to go ;) the learning phase may include some wipeouts though, so better use protections (impact vest / helmet)
@@trybol123 Thank you ! This sport is so awesome… it’s worth it to take this risk with your wife 🤣🤣 At the beginning one has to be careful. Easy to take a bad position lifting the board/foil or while starting (running on the dock with back bent for instance). But otherwise it’s ok I think !
Excellent video. Thanks a lot for making such a great teaching video. Now I need to take these steps to water! :-)

Merci Ludo. As always, your video has tons of precise and useful information.

Even if I don’t have the stick, I will not use my arms that much to safe energy. I prefer pumping without the stick ;)

Some genius is going to build a trainer that exactly replicates this motion, practice the movements and build muscles. Larry
@@leapnlarry 👍 that would be great and make the learning process much easier!
Yeah outstanding . I’m now linking to all your better videos. Sorry Gwen 😢
