This is great! I run a homesteading camp at my family farm. I started a bunch of flowers early this year to pre- press for projects for the kids. This idea is definitely in the running!
Love this! I'm a lucky wife who's husband gets me "just because" flowers throughout the year. So I have a ton of pressed flowers because I'm sentimental like that. So I was already working on putting some in frames to put up on the wall. This idea will also help spread out those pressed flowers too! Thx u! 💐🥰❤️
It depends on the end effect u want. If u want flat flowers then simply press in wax paper and place it in a book. Otherwise, if u want it to retain it's shape and color for the most part, then I usually start by hanging it upside down away from sunlight. The biggest tip I can give is to be careful when u decide to dry out the flower. If it's wilting then u will have significant changes with the shape and color n most likely it will crumble. So make sure it's healthy. There are other hacks that people swear by, I heard spraying hairspray on it helps keep it's shape and color but I don't use it because I prefer natural ways. But that's it! Really, that's all I do. If u get lots of flowers to practice with, then I suggest playing around with each one and u will find what works best for u. Also there's tons of UA-cam videos on how to dry flowers that would give u all the hacks that makes the process much easier I'm sure. I'm just an old school natural in my ways. Lol Which is why I love diy videos I guess! Blessings on ur dried flowers journey!!! 💐🥰❤️
I made these last summer but I actually folded them "inside out" from the way you folded yours - that way my stick legs were on the inside. They are so cute and easy - we might just have to make some more this summer lol.
Hey Guys… Very cool project. I have never made a pressed flower project but I’m ready to “SPRING” into this one. It’s been a snowy Colorado this year and I’m ready for warm weather.
Those are so lovely. I bought some white pressed flowers similar to those online just because they looked so pretty...and now I know what to do with them! Thank you for such a great idea. :)
That was so creative ! I like how you make affordable beautiful crafts with great instructions What’s a video without Teddy..he’s a cutie Take care 🇨🇦 ❤️
Luv it!! Have a Spring event that these would be perfect decor. Guys...bone folder...boning is stabilizers in clothing (mostly)...also bone folder is a little less spicy🤭💚
This would be lovely project for a simple outdoor wedding. Beautiful.
Yes! Love that idea!
So pretty and delicate! I love the rice paper lantern look.

This is perfect! I'd like to try this as a library craft program for adults. Any idea how much time you need for the glue to dry?
I made these years ago when I went to 4-H camp. Love them. But we didn’t have led lights back in the dark ages. Lol 😆

How can you call a narrow coffee stir a popsicle stick? They are generally wider!
