I have the 12 currently, but I just bought the 40 today for $70 for target circle week at my local Target in this Limited Edition Green color it’s soo beautiful. I love the look on the 40 as it looks more retro and I’m gonna gift my mini 12 to my niece.

I can,t find the instax mini black 40 instant camera in stores in the netherlands but its on amazone for 88,95. But they do sell films you put in the instax mini 40 camera in stores in the netherlands. That i find odd🤔😁

The only difference I’ve seen is that the mini 40 breaks easily compared to the mini 12 and doesn’t last as long.

I personally haven’t broken my 12 ever but while I was looking to see what camera to buy I saw a lot of reviews saying that after a year of use the camera would suddenly stop working.
