I used to live in Iwakuni back in 2014. I’m glad I had the chance to see this masterpiece.
Undoubtedly Japan is very beautiful and the Japanese as well😍😍
The river is so pretty
Hello Shinichi and Satoshi, the town is very beautiful. I feel I was transported there with the sights and sounds of the town. Your video is so clear and you caputure the beauty of the town. Thank you for a beautiful and relaxing video. Have a beautiful day and look forward to you next video. (I always enjoy virtually being there with you)
I was there 4 years ago n Sakura was in full bloom. A very beautiful town.
I not only like, but prefer these longer videos. Such beautiful places you visit!
Natto ice cream!! EEECK!!!! Shinichi's choice seems much better. The lotus root seems quite interestsing.
I’m loving the music choices you’re using to help fill the voids. Really sets a vibe and you need to keep that up.
YES! I would LOVE to see a Japanese, then a worldwide, soft serve taste adventure, Shinichi!! 🍦🤩
What an awesome idea!
Hey Shinichi and Satoshi good to see you y'all what a beautiful veiws the bridge 🌉 is awesome thanks for sharing this video take care stay safe and God bless to you y'all 🌻🌼🌸🏵️☺️🥰🤩😘😊☀️💐💘😍👍🤗❤️👌🌺💮
Very quaint little town. I'd love to paint a watercolor of the bridge. I think I'd prefer ginger soft serve instead of natto. I think I might like the plum flowers even better than the cherry blossoms.
Stunning architecture. The carpentry skills are amazing.
I am saving this video to watch with my husband tonight 😀 I can’t wait! Thank you both for your amazing content and all the love that you put into it!❤️😀❤️
Loved hearing shakuhachi when you got to Iwakuni Castle. I used to play shakuhachi…years ago.
I like Bridges AND Natto 👍 That castle museum was really interesting.
Very interesting bridge I love it so different!!!!! 👍🏻
What!!!!!! Over 200 favoured icecreams!!!!!! 🍦 😮😍
I was actually stationed at Iwakuni 10 years ago, you guys may have been there the same time I was living there! Living in Iwakuni was the best 2 years of my life; something awesome about living in small-town Japan that I miss so much to this day. I wouldn't hesitate to move back again given the opportunity.
Also, that soft serve ice cream place usually has lines that snake around the corner because of how popular it was, especially during Sakura season and Obon. Kind of strange to see no line at all!
How sweet you went there 10 yrs ago.
Thank you very much Shinichi & Satoshi for bringing us to this beautiful place! Enjoyed walking with you both.💞
OMG Thank you two for taking us with you to this beautiful place! The village is so pleasant, clean and quiet. They have cared for it with love. I imagine it gets very busy when the cherry trees bloom. The bridge is amazing!
My dad was born in Iwakuni and some of his family still live there. Thank you, Shinichi, for taking us on this wonderful tour with you!
I was so hoping one day you would do Iwakuni!! I was blessed to live there for 2 years when I was younger and I miss it everyday! I have walked over that bridge so many times.
A beautiful bridge, was there 4years ago n Sakura was in full bloom. So pretty.
I really enjoyed this video, maybe because four different soft serve was featured? LOL
No, seriously I love all your walking videos, long or short. I really do. This video was informative, beautiful, and so calming. Thank you!💖💖😁🍦🍦🍦🍦❣
I’ve seen this bridge before on youtube. Really stunning!
Wow. I like this place a lot. Thank you for showing us this amazing place
Wow that wall of ice cream flavours and models is just something else! Would love to visit and try all the flavours! :D
Aloha Shinichi & Satoshi! Thank you, such a beautiful town & spectacular bridge! 🥰
What a beautiful and exciting video! Kintaikyō is such an amazing piece of engineering and so harmonious with its gorgeous and serene surroundings. Iwakuni Castle had magnificent views and made me interested to learn more about how life was lived in a Japanese castle. And all the food was interesting and looked delicious. I was really drawn to the kawara soba, Iwakuni sushi, renkon korokke, and the soft serve ice cream, of course. I'm a sucker for soft serve! Thank you for taking us with you. ❤️❤️
You didn't stop at the White Snakes? Kintaikyo is a beautiful place without the usual crowd. One of my favorites in Yamaguchi.
Yaay. You guys was in Iwakuni!
Wow, that IS a beautiful bridge
Thanks guys for taking us to Yamaguchi prefecture. This prefecture is on my visit list. My great-grandfather emigrated from Yamaguchi to Hawaii in 1880. I think it would be interesting to see where my family came from. Thanks again guys!
Great content Shinichi!!! Give Satoshi a hug for me !❤❤
Really beautiful video. Thank you for sharing
Agree with you that this a really beautiful bridge, thanks for bringing this to us! Please keep up your videos, well done. Cheers to Shinichi n Satoshi.
i love bridges too! iwakuni is my family's ancestral home. was lucky enough to visit there a few yrs ago. iirc the kintai bridge was destroyed in a typhoon around 1950 but faithfully rebuilt. glad you got to see it again! 🙂
Hello from Australia Shinichi and Satoshi! Thank you for another beautiful video. My daughter and I visited Hiroshima in 2016 when she was 15. We have both been back to Japan twice since then as we really loved it. I never knew about this amazing place and wished we could have visited. Maybe next time. I absolutely loved the names of all the different ice cream flavours!
Hi Guys, another great video, what an amazing bridge great views from the castle with beautiful surroundings and I would love to try the lotus root korokke . The soft serves looked delicious 🤤. After a stressful day at work this has lifted me up watching this. Arigato 👍😀🙏
Finally! I've been waiting for you guys to visit Iwakuni 😍
Thanks for Photo of beautiful Japan
Lived in Iwakuni for 3 years. Always think about it
Hope you guys are catching the last of the cherry blossoms 🌸 🌸🌸
Loved this video, yes please keep making the long videos, so enjoyable. 😄👍
It all looked so beautiful! Thank you so much for taking us on that walk with you!
I like all your videos but your longer ones really help me when I am at the gym and huffing and puffing on the treadmill! You make my workouts a lot easier because I dream of being more fit when I go to Japan AND I get to watch and decide all the yummy food I'll be eating when I get there. 😋😊😋
Reminded me a little of the Sanxiantai Dragon Bridge in Taitung, Taiwan!
Looks like it.
Beautiful place. Agree that the bridge looks amazing, especially from underneath.
I Love the longer Videos. 🙏🏼 This bridge is verry beautiful and I wish I coud see it real. But anyway. I'm Happy to see you and Satoshi save and happy 🥰🌺🙏🏼
Love walking with you ... the bridge was amazing. Keep taking us with you, I am seeing parts of Japan I will never get to.
I use to live in Iwakuni. I miss it so much!!
Great to see you up and about, Shinichi. Both of you please stay healthy and happy, we love your beautiful videos
I loved this video so much! Thank you!
I’ve been watching for a couple years now and I was so excited to see Iwakuni in a video! There are so many amazing places, but I feel like you need to see some countryside of Japan too to really experience Japan. Iwakuni is a great place to do that. I may be a little biased living there, but you mentioned so many things I enjoy. Whenever I want to walk around in nature I go to the Kintai area and spend a couple hours there with my kids. The saukura trees get all the attention as they are so beautiful, but ume blossoms are exciting because it means winter is ending.
All the food you eat looks wonderful! Tina
I really enjoyed this video, as it had a bit of everything. A cool bridge, a museum, a ropeway trip, dining, and soft serve twice! I'm glad you did this video instead of walking around Hiroshima, as I enjoy this type of video more than walking around a big city. Although I'll still watch those too!
Thank you for showing us this place, Shinichi! Almost wanted to visit this place when I was in Hiroshima 2 years ago! Watched a few videos of people introducing this place but only you brought us so in depth! Thank you again!
Hi guys! I'm really enjoying your longer videos. It's also nice to see you and Satoshi doing these together. My husband and I follow a variety of Japanese food / travel vloggers, but you two have just about perfected the format. We'll look forward to the next one!
That bridge is so majestic. Sinichi you show my two favorite things. Food and site seeing. I love the castles and history.
I love your longer videos!
It's nice to see such beautiful places after the pandemic emptied so many towns and cities. Keep going guys! 💜💜
Thank you for sharing so many beautiful and precious places with us!
I was there on Friday for hanami 🌸 There were soooooooo many people! I had the blueberry and natsumikan ice cream...not bad, but natto was better imo.
This place is a gem , Kintaikyo bridge is one of the world's most amazing bridges due to the architectural wooden structure gorgeous . This place must be a magnet for tourists, with it stunning views , and historic Castle with plenty to do eat and see is so breath taking. You must return again in the near future Shinichi and Satoshi when you have time . There's alot of🍦🍦🍦 soft serve ✨️ to try . Thanks for the wonderful experience . 💛💛💛👍
Hey guys. Thanks for this video. I do plan on visiting Japan again once everything is over. In the mean time, keep taking us to other great places to see and visit.
A beautiful and fun video.
So beautiful.
Satoshi if you ever need a natto pal just ring me up. I will eat anything natto related!
Lotus root chips sound amazing. And the korokke looked amazing! Lotus root is one of my favorite veggies.
Also, what a neat view!
Great video!
Heh I like longer video it more relaxing to watch because I can absorb everything in.. and it feel we are actually spending real time with you enjoying experiencing the place with you..
I also love trying strange ice cream flavours when I find them 😂
When I was stationed in Iwakuni while serving in the Marines -- 1998 ?? Marines called that bridge "KeenTai" -- Not sure. We loved that place. We tried to be humble when there but there was always that one Marine with us that made us look rude. If that was or is your experience, I am sorry. The Blossom Festival was absolutely beautiful! The バスルームライン lines were very long!
|By the way, we would actually swim there just after the falls. The Japanese either thought we were nuts or rude. Not sure.??
What an interesting bridge! Not sure if it beats the great Seito bridge, but it's certainly gorgeous.
Thank you taking to Yamaguchi. My grandparents were from different places in Yamaguchi. It's very beautiful place. Iwakuni Castle is beautiful too. It might longer to reach there. The food looked delicious. Good choice, Satoshi-san. I never went to Yamaguchi but it's on my bucket list
It is a gorgeous bridge 😁
Yang Guifei (soft cream) is a famous Chinese beauty from 7th century Tang dynasty. Yes, she was so beautiful you can even eat an ice cream in the 21st century in Japan named after her. 😮
I do enjoy the longer videos like this one. I hope to visit Japan one day & your location videos really help! Thank you!
I love exploring castle's. 😇👑🌏🌍🌎💚
Thank you Shinichi and Satoshi for taking us on this adventure to the Kintaikyo Bridge. When I visited relatives in Japan back in 2006, I had a choice of visiting Miyajima Island or the Kintaikyo Bridge, as we only had one day to sightsee. We chose Miyajima Island, a decision I never regretted and I have been back to Miyajima two more times since then. I had always wondered about the Kintaikyo Bridge and thanks to your visit, I now know what I have been missing. On my next visit after the Pandemic is over, I will definitely visit the Kintaikyo Bridge and the castle. I want to wander the town, cross the bridge, see the castle, have soft-serve ice cream and feast on the local foods. Can't wait to go back to Nihon. Gokurosama deshita!
seriously awesome bridge!
LOVE this!!! So beautiful !!!!!!! Has given me some great ideas for my paintings. Thank you both soooo much for what you do!!!! Much love
WOW -- Kintaikyo is really, really beautiful, as well as the surrounding landscape. I immediately went searching online to learn more about its construction and was fascinated by the history behind it. Thank you once again for showing us the lesser known marvels of your amazing county!
What a beautiful place I'll will visit it,thanks guys
😍
Loved watching this video😊
My order would be pointing to a random row without natto ""this row please." xD xD
Beautifu bridge!
Wow…..that was such an enjoyable tour of the town and the beautiful bridge! Isn’t there also a military base in Iwakuni? I love visiting Japan and can’t wait to go back once it opens up to tourists again! Thank you for virtually taking me back…..your videos make me feel like I’m actually there and I learn so much. Keep on doing what you do, Shinichi and Satoshi! Mahalo and Aloha from Hawaii🌺🤙🏻
Yes, a Marine Corps Air Station (it might be a joint base now?) near the Iwakuni train station. How many would know what’s shared by Halawa, Iwakuni, and Kaneohe?
@@garytheosophilus Thanks for the reply, Gary! I knew there was a military base there since I, at one time, considered taking a job overseas in Japan. Yes, that’s so cool that there’s a connection between Iwakuni, Halawa, and Kaneohe in Hawaii! 🌺🌸
Eat!!!! Yeah !!! 😃
I would love to try natto ice cream, sounds really interesting! My other favorite context creator in Japan is based in Iwakuni, and it’s cool to see the town from both a local and tourist perspective.
The natto ice cream is surprisingly good. I do not, however, recommend the habanero...unless you enjoy pain 😂
Great video! 🙏🙏💕💕
I will go there on my way to Kyushu.
Wonderful!
Thank you for sharing your Video with us!
PS: isn't it in Yamaguchi Prefecture? In the description is written Iwakuni Prefecture..
This was interesting. Thank you.
