OMG! That crab tho!! What a great Christmas gift!! My heart hurts every single time I look at shellfish, because of the horrible allergy my hubby recently developed. I can never enjoy shellfish with him ever again. :( That's okay, because I will just live vicariously through you both. How smart of you both to pick the last seat in the green car, so you could store your luggage directly behind you. Such beautiful scenery! Especially, Hokkaido's Mt. Fuji! How fun! The kanimeshi ekiben eaten in an area meant to look like the inside of a train. Very cool!! Thank you both for making that pitstop, to show us this amazing 90 year old historical kanimeshi! I cannot wait to see you take the Shinkansen there in 10 years!!
The same thing happened to me on boxing day 2019 after 40+ years of eating shellfish I developed an allergy. Carry my epipen everywhere now but still love the smell even tho I can no longer enjoy it myself
@@jenruska …….😭😭😭 I’m soooo sorry! Hubby has to carry his epipen as well. He can no longer have Chinese food at restaurants, as they use oyster sauce in many dishes. My heart hurts for you both. Please take care!
Mindy’s Mom....I know you’re a moderator and one of the boy’s biggest fans. I’ve heard y’all mention that you have a bathroom “need”. Idk how else to put it. 😂😂. My husband used to tell me that I need to write a book about bathrooms and travel, as I always map out the bathrooms when making vacation and travel plans. I have Crohn’s disease, so I know bathrooms at all the amusement parks, hotels, fairs, etc... Did u actually write a book on the subject or are you just well versed? ✌🏻🥰😊
@@melissadunton3534 …..Hiiiiii! Would you happen to be on Insta or FB, where we can chat in private? I’d love to fill you in on my life, and I’d love to hear more about yours. 🥰
Once again you both showed us so much of your beautiful country. I'm so happy for both of that you can do the things you do. All the best from Down Under 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
I just LOVE u guys, so nice to look at your vids, I like the once where you speak and take us around best. Almost like little documentaries. Arigato for all . Love and Light from Europe 💞
loved the video. it was like i was traveling along with you. i love crab wow that crab was worth it. n the view from your hotel room beautiful thank you shinichi n satoshi
With such a complicated travel plan (in deep snow) to get to your goal I felt quite confident that Satoshi could lead the way and get you both there on time. This allows Shinichi to follow and film the great adventure for us! YAY TEAMWORK! :D
Thank you so very much to Shinichi and Saitoshi for letting me see so much of Sapporo Hakodate n Niseko Hokkaido. I truly enjoyed watching all videos again n again. Thank you!
Oh that view out your hotel window was incredible and so beautiful. I also liked the train ride. Loved your choice of music for the shots of the scenery going by. Great video as always Shinichi.😊
Totally worth the expense. I worked in Alaska on a processor boat, where I cleaned & packed King crab, and Opelio (snow crab). There's nothing to compare to the sweetness of crab meat.
Thank you so much for this vlog. The entire trip was absolutely wonderful and beautiful 💕 I think Satoshi looks a bit like the actor Tatsuya Nakadai in the movie, Kagemusha, so handsome. Does anybody else think so?
Like the other Hokkaido videos, I enjoyed this one as well. Goodness, all those stairs, up and down and again later on.... 😩😫 Bravo to both of you, I don't think I could...
Fantastic breakfast crab 🦀 is so sweet, so glad you treated each other with the best dish ever. Love the train trips so scenic in the snow ❄. But the hotel view was so beautiful you guy's were in heaven. Thanks so much for showing us how to get to these destinations, it makes it so easy for those of us who wish to travel to Japan in the near future. Much appreciated 💛💚👍
I watched all of the videos, Hakodate is charming. It's wonderful to see areas other than Tokyo, it looks so cozy and quiet with all that water and the snow!
What a journey! But the view from the hotel window was absolutely breathtaking! That mountain! Wow. Words escape me. (I'm also very jealous of that king crab meal you had! Stunner)
The fresh 🦀 looked succulent and the Bento 🍱 as well. Loved seeing the scenery and mountains from the train 🚆 and especially the hotel room . Enjoying the Hokkaido videos . Looking forward to more videos. Arigato 👍😀🙏❄️
You guys just made my day whenever I watch your video…😄 just so happy to see your happiness eating the crab! Please keep your amazing work. Thank you so much
Thank you for always posting videos of your travels! It allows those of us who can’t ge tourists in Japan live vicariously through you! So glad you happened to stay at the Hilton Niseko. We are loyal Hilton Diamond members, and it is one of the only Hilton properties we haven’t stayed at in Japan! A dream also of ours to get there someday. If you want a really special experience, consider going to another snow resort destination, Karuizawa, and stay at the Hilton Curio Collection there! We stopped in for a couple days en route to the Jigokudani Snow Monkeys up near Yudanaka. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Yes, I enjoyed this video. I literally enjoy every video you have made for all your channels. I will say, this one for me, is wonderful. The views on your travels were breathtaking, and the food of course. The crab, the bento, the buffet, I loved it all.
so enjoyed your Hakodate trip and now this video was fantastic of course the crab so fresh n sweet to end it with such a beautiful view is a bonus looking forward to watching tomorrows 'travels' would have loved to seen Satoshi on the slopes
Guys love your channels guys i can't wait to watch you going to onigiri bongo and trying their selection. They say it's the best fresh onigiri in Japan guys please go there and share.
The last time I visited Hokkaido the shinkansen and the Shin-Hakodate station weren't finished yet. My friend and I had to take the cheapest overnight train from Tokyo and sat all the way since the Nobi-Nobi were booked out. Even then the train was really full probably because it was during Tanabata season. So many good memories. Wanna go there again but via Shinkansen this time!
Hi I found your channel through PhotoLukeHawaii. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. That view at 32:20 left me speechless. That just made my whole morning.
Wow, that train cafe looks so cool! Thank you for introducing us to delicious food and off-the-beaten path jewels like that kanimeshi bento in Oshanambe and the boiled crab
This brings me back to when my family and I had to take the local way to Niseko from Sapporo because we missed the bus that was supposed to bring us there 😂 I love that the slopes end right at the base of the hotel too :D
love your hakodate trip and everything in between! makes me wish japan is already open for tourists... but with your outstanding vlogs, it's like i'm there already! thanks for sharing! love you guys!
I found you guys a couple months ago and have been enjoying your videos daily ever since. I think this Hokkaido series is my favorite so far. Everything is so beautiful. I love the snow, the trains, the Christmas lights, the traditional shops, the friendly people, the food, and the gorgeous views. So much fun watching the two of you together! Looking forward to seeing Satoshi skiing! I lived in Japan when I was little and really hope I can go back again one day. Thank you for everything you do to show us all these beautiful places we would never see otherwise!😊
Such a wonderful video! Missing the snow and winter so much (I live in sunny Florida). You must have been in heaven with all of that delicious crab Shinichi! ❤️
i’m enjoying all of your videos,it reminded me of my 1st time seeing snow in Sapporo, Hokkaido. it was truly magical, definitely one for the books experience. ❤️
Aw I miss the snow in Hakodate now. Even tho I used to hate it back then, Big walls of snow everywhere made it so hard to walk to work and school. Living vicariously through your adventures. I wanted to go snowboarding in Niseko once after Yukimatsuri in Sapporo but my boss called me to come work early So I had to cut my trip short and return to Hakodate. Really jealous :) Loving the videos! Happy to see you guys enjoying yourselves.
OMG!! Your trip to Niseko brought back so many beautiful memories from my trip to Niseko in 2016 with my family!!! We went there the same way you guys did. By train Shinkansen from Tokyo and local trains. What a nightmare that was!! Carrying all the heavy bags full of winter clothes and ski gear from one platform to the other!! But the powder snow and everything else made all that worth the effort!!! Looking forward to watch more from Niseko from you guys!!!
That was a great vlog/content of every little details in those places. The views from the trains & the hotel!!! 🤯Literally it was breathtaking!! I’m a bit jelly! 😅I used to live in Hokkaido in Ebetsu city, just 30min on train from Sapporo to East, went to the dairy farm university. (But didn’t finish and move to Osaka to study English because I wanted to move to Canada 🇨🇦!) So I have so many great memories in Hokkaido and your footage definitely took me back to those good old days. (That was maybe more than 35 years ago!😭😭😭) I haven’t gone back to Japan since me & my family moved to Canada in 1994 except, I went back to Tokyo for work in 2005 for 1 year. Natsukashi~🥲 Thanks for sharing all these great images and please keep doing an amazing work! Genkidene~🙋🏻♂️😉🤗

Hi shinichi I loved the crab!! In todays star-advertiser there is a place in Hakodate “fujireika” ice cream shop that sells sake ice cream, it’s very popular! I took a pic and was going to send you the article but didn’t know how. Anyways, good job in Hakodate! I loved those videos! Also loved your Nagoya videos too!
I'm honestly amazed that there is a Hilton and a Park Hyatt hotel in an area that appears to be the middle of nowhere. Looking forward to learning more about this area.
Opening the curtain to the hotel window gave me chills!
That view from the hotel room is unreal. Looks like a painting.
Satoshi holding up the crab makes for an excellent thumbnail. So cute!

That view is BREATHTAKING 😲
