I started watching this on my phone. Then I moved to my tablet. Then on the 3rd minute, I decided to open a bottle of beer and watch on a big screen monitor with my headphones. I love the simple editing which made me feel like being actually there. The ambient sounds also was really nice!
My gosh. This town is so picturesque and quait. I LOVE it. I want to be teleported there!
There's something soothing about the sound of rushing water.
I love how you take the time to appreciate even the smallest pretty details around you like the cute cat logo, the can of royal milk tea against the autumn colors backdrop, the train station, the little chair facing the river, etc. I laughed out loud when you mentioned Satoshi's comment: Because it's nature! :D I noticed you crossed over to the other side and then you crossed back. Did Satoshi say you could just come from the station and end up near the museum? That would be a good day trip with a stop at a cafe and visit to the brewery.
Imagine my surprise when I tuned into your video this morning only to see that you were in my family's hometown! My mother was born and raised in Sawai and my grandmother's home is a 10 minute walk up the hill from the sake brewery. I have not been able to visit since 2018 for obvious reasons, and your video took me home! While I appreciate all your walks throughout Japan, this one was special for me. Thank you!
This is little piece of paradise on earth. I really envy people who live in those apartments.😄
We are new subscribers and want to tell you that this long walk was EXCELLENT ! Five stars all the way and a very big thank you for making it and sharing with us because we can’t be there to do it ourselves. Thanks for the feeling and experience. Hope there will be many more. Watching all your channels now ! Cheers 🍻
Completely adored this video! Gorgeous place, great company and good food - felt like I was there with you. Thank you.
Thank you two for taking us along on this beautiful walk ~ never boring! The river and trees are enchanting and the homes are so interesting, a lovely place to live. Please take us there again! PS - I grew up near Los Angeles and we camped every year in Joshua Tree. Dad took photos and Mom painted. Another peaceful place.
Love the scenery. Just beautiful
I love the walk about videos - please keep making them. I get to see new places I can visit on my next trip. Since we can't really travel right now, going with you by way of the video feels like I am there. Your conversational style is exactly as you really are which makes the video feel very friendly, like we are walking with you.
Thank you
The area is insanely beautiful.
I 💕 your walk vids.
One of the best videos. Please keep making such videos. Very soothing environment and gorgeous autumn leaves.
A little sad I'll never get to visit places in Japan like this one, but I'm glad you two make such nice videos about them. Thanks!
I love how Satoshi points out interesting things to you. He knows it'll make you happy, that's sweet. And I didn't think you could find a more beautiful place than the mountain you climbed recently but you did. This was gorgeous! The river and the beautiful autumn trees... just lovely. How lucky those people are to live there.
I would love to see it in the winter. I bet it's still beautiful there, and if there's some snow even better. 😊
I mean, he did at one point just go, "The trees above you, the trees that are green, the trees that are yellow, some of them have no leaves" etc.
Shinichi and Satoshi, MANY GRATEFUL THANKS TO YOU for taking the time and effort to plan and be there on these wonderful trips..Thanks to your kind consideration, we can enjoy the scenic travels that you share with others...Stay Blessed Y'All!!!
Very nice video; NOT boring at all. Definitely causing me to rethink my plan for first-time visit to Japan; was not considering spending much time in Tokyo, believing it was just another concrete-jungle like NYC. Seems like Tokyo is so much more.
Beautiful! Love how many people are kayaking and the creek is so clear. Kayaks are light to carry but probably have someone pick them up.
Keep up the long walks. We love them! Meditative to watch and a pleasure to travel in Japan through your camera's eyes. Please visit Sendai and walk around there when you get the chance to head up north. It is particularly beautiful in winter, although colder than Tokyo.
I just love these adventure that you guys take us on the River Banks the mountains the different kind of colors of the leaves the view awesome time thanks take care stay safe 👍❤️🏵️😘🤩
Gorgeous. I love how much nature there is in the middle of the giant Tokyo metropolitan area! Amazing area!
Such a beautiful nature walk…thanks for taking us!
perfect seasonal colours and the sound of rushing water is an extra bonus. this must be top Tokyo walk its gorgeous thank you Shinichi and Satoshi
I have not seen nature for like two years now because of covid. Thank you for bringing us here and properly showing the beauty of the place. Huhu.
A Beautiful walk in nature and yet you still have modern conveniences all along the trail 👍
Very cool.
Loved it, so many memories for me
I lived in Japan for 6 years . ..25 years ago.
That's how I would spend my Sundays, wherever you are in Japan you can always find great spots like that! 👍
Boring? Absolutely NOT! Lovely being able to share the walk with you and Satoshi along the river. The ginkgo trees and Mimoji are gorgeous - my mother & father, who are now gone, planted these in my yard. Your video reminds me of my mother and grandmother (mother Japanese). Thank you for sharing!
Nature is beautiful in the early spring and fall. It's colorful and the fresh air is different from living in the city. We have to appreciate what nature gives us and enjoy it. Thank you, the beauty of nature in surround suburb areas to the different cities.
That water looks so cold, but so gorgeous I still want to jump into it! It's so blue!
I live in Wisconsin USA! There is a lot of farms where I'm from. My neighborhood is located in the middle of woods surrounded by 5 farm fields. It's gorgeous during spring summer and fall, winter not so much and is a pain when we have 3 feet of snow on the ground. The first snow fall is beautiful but then turns a mucky brown color from dirt and salt that needs to be put down to melt the ice on our roads. Our winters are very harsh and bitter below zero temperatures.
This is exactly the type of place I wish I could be right now. Thanks for taking us here!
Aloha Shinichi & Satoshi! Thank you so much! Very beautiful! Enjoyed walking along with you! Aloha!
Mt.Mitake is definitely gonna be on my ‘to go list’ when I visit Japan again in 2022! 🙏🤞
Thank you Shinichi & Satoshi. Love from 🇸🇬
Maybe it had rained before and that stated wet. But I like Satoshi answer, sounds philosophical.😉
You can go back in winter, but the trees will be barren. If there is snow it could be gorgeous, but the question is do they shovel the walk way? You won't get far without a path.
I live in an outskirt of Denver, Colorado. We have plenty of beautiful places in the Rocky Mountains. That river front view reminds of a place I like to hike here, in Golden Colorado. There are kayakers there too.
This was heavenly peaceful, such a beautiful part of Japan. I was transported to tranquility the minute I watched this video. The sounds of the birds and the river in all its beauty was spectacular. Thanks so much Shinichi and Satoshi the walk showed history , café and restaurants. To finally the brewery, a must place to visit with food that was worth the walk . 🧡💚💛👍
Very relaxing . It’s like walking with you .
Beautiful scenery. So tranquil and just what we needed.
I think it’s so funny that the DANGER sign by the river is completely and exclusively in English!!!
I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Incredibly beautiful fall leaves just north of Ottawa. Of course followed by very cold and snowy winters! 🙏 for your videos! You guys are fantastic at helping me plan my first trip to Japan! I can’t wait to visit! 🙏🙏🙏💕🇨🇦
That last type of potato you mentioned looks very much like a sunchoke or Jerusalem artichoke. If it is they're so delicious! I love these walks that you take us on Shinichi San. It's the reason why we love your channel! Please keep it up ☺️
Awesome job bro
I love the laid-back relaxed nature of you two guys wandering around. The wasabi looked sooooo good!
How wonderful!
I slept on the side of the same river on a camping site in Kawai upstream
It was so nice camping together with a couple of nice young Japanese families! Although we had never met, being a senior, they treated me with much respect.
I went to the saké brewery in Sawai three times in three consequent years, but it was closed all three times.
Ohhh I hope they are open next time you go.
Thank you for taking us with you! I love the Autumn walks you guys are taking...I would be wary of winter, I wonder if it gets very icy on those steep paths
Great video. I want to go there. It is amazing that it is so close to a major central city.
This video makes me missing japan 🇯🇵🙌🏼
Norway has 4 season's too with colorful leaves on several different leaves tree's, and i think you should go there in winter too, but be careful with slippery walking paths, the reasons i have for enjoying the nature UA-cam from Japan is there is some similarities to Norway, but still it's very different! And yes i love this 😍
Thank you for the breathtaking nature walk by the beautiful river. Love the colourful autumn foliage along the river trail and listening to your apt description of your walk. The virtual journey is so vividly captivating. Arigatogo gozaimasu.
I feel that it is awesome that there is nature within the city of Tokyo. *in awe* Take care, Shinichi-san and Satoshi-san.
I found your channels recently and have been looking at past vlogs. I had no idea Tokyo had an area like this. Plus watching the 2 of you traveling around Japan makes me want to travel!
Not one second of this video was boring. Very beautiful.
That was such a lovely walk reminiscing about your beautiful Justin and all his little stops along the way! He was gorgeous 🐶❤️
Loved, loved this! The river, the colors of the leaves, benches for sitting and contemplating. The sound of rushing water is so relaxing and meditative. And, then there's the Saki brewery with tastees😋😋. Thank you so much Shinichi. Your videos are never boring. If you planned to go back in the winter, I would suggest you stay on the well-paved path. It would be safer. The other side is more picturesque but it could be very slippery and icy. Love you and Satoshi. Stay safe.
Thank you, it was a lovely video. Long walks out of the city are definitely my favorites !
I’m definitely going back to Japan (once Covid allows that is) to experience the autumn after having seen this video. Japan is always beautiful but…..WOW!
I love those autumn leaves. Great place. Thanks guys.
Go caving! I hear Japan has some beautiful limestone caves to explore....
You really need to make a shirt that says "This makes me so happy!"
Excellent video quality. Thanks so much for working hard to create this video. The river and colors - super nice. Where I am, in San Antonio, Texas, trees are just now starting to turn brown (day after Thanksgiving). We might get some yellow, we'll see what happens next couple weeks. Peaceful wishes. 👍👍👍
Indeed, this is a long video - and I enjoyed every single minute of it. For me that’s a clear sign of its outstandig quality! 😊💕
..thanks a bunch for sharing the beauty of that place it's really picturesque🧡💚💛 stay healthy and safe👋🏼
I really enjoyed this video! Living in US for such a long time, I miss so much of Japan especially country side. I was just so relaxed for the entire hour watching this, and I just couldn't believe it was in the local part of Tokyo. I guess I was a bit tired of city life in US with all kinds of madness going on. If and when I get back to Japan (hopefully soon), this place is a must to see place. Thanks for posting. Sake sounds so good too!
Glad you enjoyed it!
綺麗な紅葉だね🍁🍁🍁
Spectacular! We’ll definitely going there when we can return to Nihon.
You have such a stunning places there. 💕 Wish I can afford visit Japan even once in my life!
Beautiful visuals! Thanks for bringing us along and making us aware of this colorful destination. I hope to visit here in autumn if I travel to Tokyo.
Beautiful! Thank you for taking us along. Amazing!
I like the fresh air feeling from this video. So nice!
What a great relaxing video to see after a hectic holiday. Thanks!
my gf and I loved this video! we want to go to japan so bad... so beautiful. can't wait to see you guys go to hokkaido
I enjoyed this video so much. I felt like I was there with you guys and I'm so glad I could keep up with your walking pace lol
I live in sunny South Africa, we are currently heading into summer. I am lucky enough to live 5 min from the beach and can actually see the ocean from my Livingroom. I love autumn and winter, its sooooo beautiful there!
Thank you for showing this part of Tokyo.
This place is so beautiful. Ive been in both 4 seasons and only greenery places. Its all beautiful nature in the US, westcoast, eastcoast, state and national parks, but unfortunately no japanese food.
Really beautiful. I wonder if it would be more crowded if tourists were allowed in? My "must visit" list keeps getting longer. I would love to paint like that man early in the video.
This place has always less crowded as it isn’t as well known as other tourist places, which keeps this place amazing!
Mitake Ravine is indeed gorgeous. Hope to visit it one day when I visit Tokyo. Thanks for showing me such an exquisite place in Tokyo.
Wow . . . the foliage is so beautiful!
Just beautiful, Ty for another great one!
I love this tour so much!!!
So beautiful Utah state has different seasons not here in Long Beach CA that's why I can't wait to go to Japan I from there to Oahu local area
I just love watching this the noise of the stream and the autumn leaves calming beautiful walk through nature and I always enjoy your commentary
Very enjoyable!
I love Japan nature.
This was awesome!
Loved it! Hope I can see this beautiful place in person one day!
I like all of the place you went!
I would love to explore this area!! Soooo beautiful! Thank you for teaching me what a momiji tree is💚
Enjoying this videeo! probably will put this place on my itinerary to my japan trip :)
Loved this. Should be your video of the year!
I love the autumn colors!
Thanks for the walk. So much beauty.
Amazing place for a hike.
I loved these videos.
Interesting video. You are so good at finding "places". And a fine story/history teller too💯
one of my favorite places you've visited!! 💖
So beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
What a lovely video. The sake brewery looks like so much fun too. We will visit Japan in April for the first time and your channel is such a nice resource as we try to put together an itinerary. Thanks for creating and sharing your wonderful videos.
The mix of colours from the trees in the ravine, wow impressive and so calming
