- What's the best chest mount for mountain biking? What’s the cheapest and/or most affordable chesty? In this video we compair the GoPro chest mount setup vs the HSU shop (hsushop.com) chest mount setup. The HSU chest mount is the best setup I've ever used, and the most affordable to. This chest mount gives you the perfect angle for POV (point of view) chest mounted footage. It helps reduce the shake caused by other mounts. It's also the most affordable GoPro accessory.

Glad to have helped. I’m still using this, and my only issue with it long term is that the straps have gotten a little more stretched out, but the same thing goes happens with my GoPro chesty.
i flip the mount upsided down too so that leverage point you refer to is not as bad. but... it's still kinda there. i have to tighten it WAY down to get good footage. i can tell im losing some weight lately since my last footage was shaky. time ti tighten it down some more. but for sure im gonna check out this thing. how funny i just thought of this today and u posted this today

I’ll be using my GoPro out of the country in crowded places and wondering if there are any chest mounts that might prevent grab-n-run theft of my GoPro ??? Thx
If it’s chest mounted, no one should be able to grab it off you. I think just about any chest mount would work for that. It will be strapped to your torso and screwed into a GoPro mount, so you should be good. Sucks that we have to worry about shady people 🤦🏼♂️

went ahead and got this using your promo code. gotta give it to them it's pretty affordable! it took about a month for it to show up from China... took it out for the first ride today and didn't have it all the way back against the mount. gonna have to keep it back against the mount to get more than the handlebars and bike.
It’s always tricky getting a chesty setup. I don’t like everything from HSU, but they have a lot of good budget gear for action cameras.

@@JaredHoff haha so the one I used had a hole in the middle which was good. It wasn’t thin like he GoPro one. Only problem was if you used it in the water,..you’d drink a pot of whatever you were swimming in

The battery deal trips me out on the mini. both in regards to if it will run out on a ride, but mainly, battery deterioration over time, going to make that mini a paperweight. just like my session 😢
I got the sametop chest mount for 15 bucks, and was pleasantly surprised with the build quality. No way the actual go pro version is built better.
