Got my unit a couple of weeks ago. I use it for surf casting. Regarding you comments about clipping mount back into place I found that you develop a "spatial" feel and you get the hang of clipping it in place. One method is to hold the camera / adapter with index and thumb then feel the receiver with your tip of your middle finder and you can "feel" your way in. The comfort is very good. I took a small file and like my head mount I notched several spots to establish a "base line" and set high and low settings to adjust field of view (vertical). I also made one notch on the slide in fingers of my GoPro9 so I have a line on my GoPro9 and line it up with the notches of head mount and now my necklace. I like the elastic belt and went ahead with 3/4" with clips so you can clip it around your upper body and around the necklace adapter. Clip helps to facilitate getting around your chest and the clips have dual slots allow for adjustment and doesn't require stitching. I'll post a video on notching and elastic belt.
Yea and no, chesty is bulky and you have to bring that with you. You can only use it for a single purpose. But with the neck mount, you can use it as a tripod, selfie stick, neck mount and impromptu chesty as well. Putting a rubber band around you is not that much work!
That's surprising. I'm an old fart with fat, stubby fingers ... I wish Telesin would make a female (pardon the term) mount with maybe a 1/4 X 20 thread. It would make it quick and easy to switch from the collar to a tripod or selfie stick.
Hey, can I ask what camera and mount you use when doing your POV b roll shots that show you doing things like showing how you can use this as a selfie stick?
I was using two cameras one Dji Osmo pocket 1 and the GoPro hero 9 in that video. I was just using some cheap generic gopro tripod selfie stick mount. It’s like $15 on Amazon!
So couple things to consider. 1. Storage of a magnet is a bit more complicated than a Rubber band. You keep it too close to your wallet and you can mess with your credit cards. 2. It's extra stuff to store and worry about, an elastic band is just simple cheap and replaceable. These are my points of consideration because it's simple
What camera are you using? If GoPro you need either the media mod or the chunky mic adapter and ulanzi has a case for that. Yes that would fit on there. If you are using osmo action 3 I am not entirely sure but it should work just fine since it's a smaller footprint
Where do you get that elastic band? Im online looking at elastic band stuff and man, i find a whole lotta ones that arent going to work. Many of them are just a long band with not connecting in a circle like. I just find like rolls of them, or therapy bands, or rubber bands, or every other kind of band, but not nice connected loop bands like yours.
Mine came from a Christmas gift box man. Dude honestly just get the elastic and then tie a knot ghetto style or you can use two paracord quick release to connect the two. Possibilities are endless my friend

Nah the elastic belt I found laying around the house. I think for mountain bike you will be more comfortable with chesty. For that type of jacket, I think Telesin makes a extra large version and that should work. The regular version would not fit over a thick jacket
Nah noway that thing will bruise your chest from the bounce bro. Use the chesty for that type of sports. Also the angle will be weird because when we board we sideways so your angle is facing left or right depending if u goofy or regular. Maybe some sort of wrist mount will be cool too

Yeah it will, I was using it with that quick release for a while. You just need to remember the direction of the ulanzi quick release to ensure it's locked. I highly recommend making a diy tether to make sure you don't lose your GP

The only good video on UA-cam so far about a neck mount for a GoPro. Well done. You point out an important flaw regarding how it might be difficult to detach the neck mount. 2:00 I do have a question. Does the GoPro stays to the neck mount consistently? My fear is that it might just come off and fall down! If the GoPro is designed to cling to the neck mount because of a magnet, then, magnets do come lose! This video is nearly a year old. You published it on June 21, 2022. Do please tell us how this GoPro neck mount has treated you after twelve months of use. And what is your name? It would have been good if you introduce yourself! (18 June 2023).
Hey dude thanks for watching my video and I really appreciate the kind comments and questions! So far after a year, the magnet is still holding fine but you can feel some wiggle in the quick release from wear and tear. It's just hard plastic overall. To clarify, it's not just magnet that holds the GoPro on the mount. It's a clipping mechanism that is triggered by the magnet. Regarding your question on fear of dropping the camera the answers is heck yes, I am always worried. I use one of those cheap wrist strap for cameras to tie one end to the neck loop and the other to my GoPro mounting fingers. This way if the quick release fails then the lanyard will offer secondary protection. My name is Markus!
Hi guys, After 3 - 4 times unlock the mount. Mine already loss the locking power. Easy to unlock with soft push. Is it normal? Anyway to fix it? Only use it for 8 hours
Huge thanks. I'd like to get some insights from you. Have you ever tried Snapmount? The one that you put inside your shirts with a magnet. What do you think about it? I thought it might stretch your shirts and somewhat it doesn't work and your review made me think Telesin might be the way to go
This one is nice with silicone surface and soft texture around the neck. It's bendable too so you can adjust it to your body shape. Much better this version
please tell me i can use a Samsung Galaxy s10 on that? also where can i find the elastic thing you have? amazing video keep it up lets goo electric bike team Electric for life, btw have you tried the Surr Ron E Bike?
Yea it will work with the S10 since it's small enough. I would consider some other ways to add more security to it. The elastic I got randomly as a gift box, you can use anything really for it. Ebike FTW!!!!
Just ordered one, from before I have used a cheap plastic one that doesn't even fit my neck when I have jacket that goes all the way up to neck. Will be great for my POV shots and for my plans for summer.
Yes and no, the elastic band is super compact and easy to carry with you. It's one less bulky item you need to bring with you when you are traveling. But everyone is different, and so is their luggage space

@@ToasterVentura i was wondering on the settings you where using with the wide angle mod . I will check out you other video and see if it answers my question . Thanks for replying
The magnet is only to attach the camera to the necklace. When you run or bounce around the movement will still cause bounce on your chest. The elastic is to help eliminate that bounce

Carrying a drawstring bag and crossing the straps to make an X also works pretty well to secure the camera.

Thanks for the elastic hack!!!
Is this good for surfing ?
No, not at all. I surf too and bite mount is still the best
Wouldn’t the magnetic one be better for stability
I can use backpack and attach 😅as a chain around my neck 😅
Thanks for your sharing this neck holder mount! ❤
Yeah! Thanks for making an amazing product! What's next in store @Telesin
Hi guys,
After 3 - 4 times unlock the mount. Mine already loss the locking power. Easy to unlock with soft push. Is it normal? Anyway to fix it?
Only use it for 8 hours
No the unlock should only happen if you turn 90 degrees. That doesn't sound normal
great video bro!!! thank you very much
Awesome man!
Is it TE-HNB-001 or TE-HNB-002?
Super informative video, thank you for sharing, I'm going to grab this for my first person shots :)
Awesome man! Glad you find it helpful please consider subscribing!!!
Huge thanks. I'd like to get some insights from you. Have you ever tried Snapmount? The one that you put inside your shirts with a magnet. What do you think about it? I thought it might stretch your shirts and somewhat it doesn't work and your review made me think Telesin might be the way to go
I have it, maybe I should review it. The truth is I hate it for several reasons, weight, size, and strong magnets might mess up my credit cards
@@ToasterVentura Thank you for the reply! I will be following for any possible GoPro future content :)
Many thanks I really appreciate your support and subscription!!!
@@ToasterVentura I am waiting for this video, done already?
For the snap mount?? Not yet working on the new telesin charging selfie stick review ATM
I don’t know about mountain biking, I fell like it would bounce around with jumps and all that. Any one here that have tried?
Yeah you need to use a strap to keep it stable. PGYtech has a new one that comes with the strap
the old hard plastic one makes so much noise when I walk as it rubs on my shirt, how about this one?
This one is nice with silicone surface and soft texture around the neck. It's bendable too so you can adjust it to your body shape. Much better this version
This guy is the best! New sub here!
Woohoo thanks bro!
please tell me i can use a Samsung Galaxy s10 on that? also where can i find the elastic thing you have?
amazing video keep it up lets goo electric bike team Electric for life, btw have you tried the Surr Ron E Bike?
Yea it will work with the S10 since it's small enough. I would consider some other ways to add more security to it. The elastic I got randomly as a gift box, you can use anything really for it.
Ebike FTW!!!!
@@ToasterVentura ah oki have you tried with S10? lol really good elastic, idk how to put it on with phone lol
Oh you wrap the elastic around the neck mount and not the phone.
very great. special thanks for the elastic band😀
U are very welcome and I appreciate you appreciating my ghetto rig elastic band hack 😂
Useful video 😊
Great Review :D
Thanks so much !
great review sir !
Many thanks!
Awesome tip, bro!
Thanks dude
Just ordered one, from before I have used a cheap plastic one that doesn't even fit my neck when I have jacket that goes all the way up to neck.
Will be great for my POV shots and for my plans for summer.
Not to mention the plastic one hurts after a while.
@@ToasterVentura True. The cheap one I have used doesn't feel good at all either.
If you’re going to put the elastic band on, you might as well use the chest mount at that point.
Yes and no, the elastic band is super compact and easy to carry with you. It's one less bulky item you need to bring with you when you are traveling. But everyone is different, and so is their luggage space
Thanks For The Video looks pretty good . Also If you don't mine telling me what lens your using on you GoPro and what setting in your camera your on Thanks Thumbs Up
Are you talking about the max lens mod? Or digital lenses like wide, super view etc?
For settings check this video out! ua-cam.com/video/ZG8u8FK68GM/v-deo.html
@@ToasterVentura i was wondering on the settings you where using with the wide angle mod . I will check out you other video and see if it answers my question . Thanks for replying
With the max lens mod, there is only so much you can do. 2.7k 60fps, max superview, Hypersmooth On, horizon lock On, bit rate high
Got one! And it is amazing!
Great review!!
Thank you so much!!
I thought the whole purpose for the magnets was for the camera / iPhone to be stable and not bounce around. I’m confused.
The magnet is only to attach the camera to the necklace. When you run or bounce around the movement will still cause bounce on your chest. The elastic is to help eliminate that bounce
Useful video! Thx!

little that he know he created another chesty at min... 4:11. smh ..you lost me on that one lol but overall good video explanatory and concise! Good work!!!
Lol thanks buddy appreciate the feedback!!!
Great review made me buy it
İ use snapmount but this appears more usefull
Thank you! I have snapmount too but never use it. I am paranoid that the strong magnet will kill my credit cards in my pocket
@@ToasterVentura never thought of that , so far i didnt have any problems with that but i put the wallet to my pants pocket.
Oh good! I am just being paranoid lol
If you compare to VRIG claw mini magnetic quick release neck mount, you will forget this...
I need to check it out!
Greetings coming from Indonesia, Aru Islands, Maluku, healthy greetings always
