    Great pedal, but they could have included a VOX AC-30 style overdrive as well.

    I have been keeping an eye on this since they have been delaying the release almost a year ago. strange that it is so tough for a company to come out with a great distortion modeler. we want multiple distortion options that sound different, not just variations of the same tone

    I just had a quick look at the manual. I was curious to see if they mentioned anything about how the tone controls are mapped when using a pedal model that has different controls (like a Tube Screamer only having a single tone control). Doesn't seem like they've taken that into consideration. Didn't the DM4 simulate the real controls but give you additional parameters if there were free knobs left over? I think that's a cool way to do it. Alternatively, have two modes. One that mimics the real controls and one as it is currently.

      I don't think they were really trying to "model" or copy the sounds...more like giving their interpretation of it...I kinda like that you have an active EQ on for example the TS or Klon...it means you can really shape the sound much more to your needs

    Great pedal. Especially when you consider that the Blues Driver is, by itself, about $100 USD.

      AND it's a Blues driver with an active 3 band EQ...

    I can vividly remember back show about a year ago when these pedal started getting advertised and then there were videos Forum at the guitar Expo NAMM damn my online site I go to the buy all my gear kept pushing the date back even though all the other websites had it listed for almost the end of the year the place I shop at kept having it postponed for a month to month to month finally comes out after all my waiting and wanting to buy it and now everytime I hear it I don't really know how much I liked it I like all the options and of course everybody demoing it isn't really tweaking knobs so you're not really hearing the full capability of the South

    Congrats guys, you finally nailed how to pronounce Ceriatone 🤘🏽😎
    Besides that, great pedal. Could you go a lil more in-depth into the parameter dial/options?
    Cheers 🍻

      Hehe...only took us about 3 years or so!!
      We will do more in depth videos with all the 200 series pedals...these were meant to be "quick" first looks but there are so many options and sounds on these pedals!!

    Would you guys use this on your board?
    I have a Source Audio LA Lady (Kingmaker Fuzz) and I use it for 3 different kinds of fuzz. I was on a fuzz search and LA Lady had tons of great sounding options.
    (This will tell me if digital drives have made it)

    • @TSFAHTPS
      @TSFAHTPS  4 роки тому +2

      I would...I'm very impressed with the entire 200 Series...I really like the pre/post boost function on this...you basically have a pedal not really any bigger than a standard Boss pedal but with 5 presets + you can either boost or stack pretty much any of the drives...I think it's very cool. In saying that - it still has that Boss sound which some people like and some people don't - and it's not a good thing or a bad thing it's just that most manufacturers will have "a sound"...I think it also depends quite a lot on the amp you are using...I always seem to like using Boss drives more into British style amps (Marshall, Vox) but that's just me...all up two thumbs up for the whole 200 series

    How do you adjust the drive levels of the boost? You can adjust the drive level of the pedals on the rotary selector but not the boosts. Or am I wrong?

    Is the boost function on this pedal independent or does the overdrive side need to be engaged in order for the boost to work? Thx!

    I could not hear a rich fat tone coming out of this. For sure a versatile pedal and a space saver. what are your thoughts?

    • @TSFAHTPS
      @TSFAHTPS  4 роки тому

      I didn't mind it at all...I probably preferred the OD20 a little over this one. It sounded pretty fat in the room...but there is always a bit of a trade off with these kinds of pedals that have a LOT of different sounds in them...if you need a lot of versatility these pedals are great...but if you are after one KILLER sound that will blow you away...you probably won't find that here

      The SuperFunAwesomeHappyTime Pedal Show! Hay cheers for the reply. I currently use an AMT 11b amp pedal. Gives me quite a decent range of decent sounds including a very good clean sound. It would be good to hear you guys giving a demo and a review of it . It’s a Russian pedal , so many options , good tones but not well known.

    hey guys. two questions here. can you stack 2 different distortion modes? like ds1 mode plus fuzz? is this a fully digital pedal or there are also analog modes?

    • @TSFAHTPS
      @TSFAHTPS  4 роки тому +3

      Yes you can stack any of the modes...you could have a DS1 into a Fuzz or two fuzzes...or two Metal Zones...whatever you like.
      As for Digital/Analog...it says it's a Hybrid Digital/Analog pedal...not sure which parts are Digital and which parts are analog but it never felt "digital" to me
