I Let a Venus Flytrap Digest My Finger For a Day-Little Shop of Horrors Challenge!

In this video I let a Venus Fly Trap digest my finger for a whole day! I have always been slightly uneasy with Venus Fly Traps ever since I saw the show Little Shop of Horrors. I decided to test out how dangerous it really is to stick your finger in a Venus Fly Trap. I literally strapped the plant to my finger all day in order to give it a chance to digest my finger. I was really surprised by the results! Beware of the man-eating plants!

I think what he was feeling was how the blood flow was restricted because of the pressure from the venus fly trap, and less the digestive process! He should try putting something with a similar amount of pressure and see if the results are very similar or the same!

I say the blue-purple-white colour on the finger you taped is more likely to be caused by the restriction of blood blow to that finger (as that is what normally happens to any extremity with restricted blood flow), not by the digestive liquids of the plant. Just my opinion.

tubeist- dan its a hornet.... Its bulky, a wasp/yellow jacket is thinner, and more streamlined and the body tapers into a very small portion(thorax) then gets bigger, a hornet doesnt have as much of it as wasps do, and they r bulky there for its a hornet
