    Andy's passing struck us all pretty hard. He was legendary in Virginia's ag community, and is greatly missed.

      Same here, but I've lived in the south my whole life and have farmed but never tried ginger

    Ginger will last way longer than 2 weeks....You need to 'dry cure' it after digging it up. Then just keep dry. I mean...you think that ginger in the grocery is only 2 weeks....Other than that, loved the video. ;)

    Not quite true. You can pry out just the outer pieces and harvest those if you wish, just grab the outer stalks and pry them off.
