Bought 2 weeks ago. $5.500 in rebates and 0% financing after I made the best deal I thought I would get. I'm very happy with my new truck and didn't feel I necessary for the 2021model year.
Just purchased a 2020 Limited, best value for your dollar. Especially with Employees Pricing and discounts, mine totaled over $13,000 off sticker. (Not applicable on 2021 model years.)
I bought a 2020 Limited with the black appearance package and I love it so far. Very pricey but happy with my choice. I think the Denali’s look better on the outside but compete with Ram’s interior
The only thing that has me questioning whether or not to wait for the '21, is I am hearing there will be a fairly significant update with Uconnect 5. And again, another model year to work out more kinks. I will be keeping this next purchase for the long haul, so I think I will sit the '20's out.
Me too. I just got my check from Navy Federal hoping that I can prefer it in the next 30-40 days. Ram has a special for military with ‘20 pricing for a ‘21 model so I’m excited.
Look at those views in background. You are so lucky. Stuck in Norfolk Va and only thing that is y’all are the. Holdings and trash mountains. Lol. We have bridges that go over water and other roads. That is the extent of going uphill. Love the mountains in background
I think I'll buy the new Ford Bronco. 100 dollars down and you're on the list, but I've heard there are too many people who have ordered theirs already in the first 48 hours that it might not be possible to get one as quickly as you might want.
Love my 20 Laramie so far. 7,000 miles in 5 months. We just bought a 2018 Yukon Denali and my Laramie is hands down a nicer vehicle than the Denali. After having a new truck I was really disappointed in the Denali. My point is that I love my Ram!
I think Ram needs to update the Hemi 5.7 .....needs a better oil flow design to lubricate the cams. The cams also need to be a better quality. The ZF-8speed is great...the MDS should be removed from the engine design.
Michael Horner........I have the 5.7 L Hemi in my 2018 Ram 1500, and now have over 40 K miles with no ISSUES at all! If you use a HIGH QUALITY ENGINE OIL, these Engine will last for 100's of thousands miles!
Been driving ram 1500's since 2009. Have had 3 of them. No real major problems but then again never had more than 70,000kms on any of them. Wheel bearings(frt), manifold studs of course( known issue), overall great working trucks. 2019 and up hands down nicest interior of any of the competition. My beef is why no powertrain update?? Yes your getting a beautiful updated interior and body style but it's the same engine with no real updates since 2013?? EcoBoost kills it, chev 6.2 as well? With the crazy price of these new ones come on ram/fiat whatever. Update the powertrain
Ben Love the review on Ram 1500 Limited. Getting at least a Laramie 1500 Maximum Steel ( Love that color) next year. I was kind of disappointed with you switching from the Rebel to the Ford Raptor, but the Raptor is cool, are you going to get rid of the Camaro?
I have been really interested in getting a ram but what scares me is all the issues I keep hearing about, do the 2020 still have the roof leak issues , infotainment glitching and back up camera issues that the older ones had ? Also I am in Canada , has FCA fixed the air suspension issue with winter to summer months? I'm honestly not hating but these are my serious questions before deciding which truck I am going for .
I live in Winnipeg Manitoba. Had my 2019 Longhorn for a year and half. No issues at all with mine. I don’t have the air bags. Heard of to many issues in our very cold climate in winter months. Otherwise I’m very happy with my Ram. First one ever. Had them all and very impressed with mine. 👍
Love Ram! I’m on my seventh new one, a 2019 ram Big Horn crew going to wait and see if there’s any deals on the 21s when they come out I’m kind of guessing there won’t be too Many discounts but who knows???
I'm looking to pick up a Limited, and I might need to special order it. Now that I see that the Hemi can be ordered without the E-torque, does the engine without the E-torque have start-stop? It's just unnerving to me to be on a busy street stopped at a light and the engine stops completely. I had a rental car that did that and I always pushed the button to shut it off. Also, I want the A/C to continue to work while I am stopped. Does Ben or anyone else have an answer for me? I would really appreciate it. By the way, Ben, good review!
rugerdave.....Only the E-TORQUE has the stop/start, and the MOTOR/ GENERATOR is what starts the motor, not the Engine Starter! Very quiet starting, and will start in about 0.4 seconds.
Thanks for the great video. I actually have been looking for a limited in the black appearances and some other bells and whistles. Unfortunately I could not find one in a 150 miles radius. So I went to my nearest Dodge and Ram dealer and asked to build a 2020 1500 and they told me since the beginning of this month “July” they have been doing builds on 2021 and no longer do any Ram or Dodge cars builds in 2020. Do you think there might be a difference in a 2021 1500?
Biggest change will probably be uconnect 5.0 which they are advertising as way faster and more responsive and wireless carplay. Doubt much else will change besides color ootions
I am about to buy a 2020 Limited with 9k miles....it is actually my first truck ever...lol I am trading in a Tesla, if you can believe it. Is the truck good nowadays?
Lmao I have a 2019 ram bighorn with a hemi. This truck has been amazing but literaly the reliability is confusing. At 1 point the transmission was stuck in first gear and then we put it in park and drive and it became normal
@@blackthought7250 My only experience is that we had a 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager and we had 5 major repairs by 60k miles, all of them common for that model. We take very good repairs of our vehicles.
I had good luck with several Rams over the years. A few years ago, I bought a Ram 2500 that had an engine light problem that could never be repaired. It spent weeks in the shop. I ended up filing a lawsuit and got a settlement from Chrysler. I then bought a 2015 Ram 1500. It has 93,000 miles on it. It had a tailgate malfunction the caused damage. I had to threaten Chrysler with another lawsuit to get them to pay for it even though there was a recall out for that exact issue. My truck is now in the shop getting a new engine for $7500. It has been out of powertrain warranty for 7 months. These trucks are simply not reliable. I will NEVER buy another Ram and will be very Leary of any Chrysler vehicle.

FYI, when it gets over about 105 the AC is terrible. Living in Las Vegas the AC is mediocre at best, rear vents even at Max AC dont blow well either. Our Honda Odyssey AC is superior and that is disappointing.
70k for a dodge truck 1500 lol... man people really are stupid to pay this much smh. If you spin 70k it better be at least an 2500 and up. Stupid is as stupid does. Forest said it the best. Good review but man I know once that air suspension goes out it will be a lot to replace.

Desperado Sanchez same here. AC compressor at 8000 miles. Injectors at 12,000. Retractable mirrors. And then seven more visits to the dealer for an engine light which had something to do with the ABS system. It was a shame. I suppose if you get one that does not have problems you will love the truck it’s the Mercedes Benz of trucks. I now drive an F150
I have a 2019 Limited 4x4 with almost 19K miles. Been a very good truck with no issues at all. Hope to drive it for many years to come.
What's your MPG like so far?
Just traded my 2019 LTZ Z71 6.2 for a 2020 Ram Limited. I’m going to miss the 6.2 but man the Rams interior and air ride is pretty dam nice. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Ram tends to keep the same look for least 10 years as so do every other truck on the market.
Thats why I buy new truck every 10 or 12 years
