Just bought 2020 Laramie in Texas for $48,000 0% interest for 72 months! Love it so far, coming from a 2008 Ram 1500.
Thinking about getting a Limited with the 0% interest for 72 months. Did you put any money down and how was the process of buying?

If you can get the air suspension and power running boards in the Laramie, then I'm good. Don't need the panoramic roof, huge touch screen or split tail gate. All super nice options, but also, kinda just more stuff that can take a shit and cost money to fix lol.

I’m happy I go the chrome bumpers. Don’t need to worry about paint chips. Put film protection on the two little panels under the lights and a hood deflector and all good. Hopefully

I have a 2019 Laramie Sport it came with a CD player ,12 inch screen front avoidance collision , back up parking system ,tailgate auto drop, the only 2 features the limited has I don’t have is air suspension system and auto step when you open the door otherwise there the same
The limited is nice but to expensive. The best bang for your buck is getting a ram laramie with the black out package. It gives you ALOT of extra stuff over the standard laramie.

I just purchased the 2020 Laramie on 9/27/19 with black out package and it came with most everything the Limited in this video has. 22" wheels, 12" touch screen, Harman Kardon stereo package, LED everything, etorque, sport hood, etc. The only thing I can say for sure it doesn't have is the wood trim and air suspension. I paid $47k

I have the Longhorn package. I love the cattle ranch style. I only wish I could of got the limited grill on my longhorn versus the longhorn grill. I was Told that Chrysler couldn’t do that even if I ordered it that way. Dammm.

So for 2020 they took away the option for just a HEMI without the e-torque on a Limited? Glad I got my 2019 Limited, wonder if that makes my truck a little better for resell. I don't care or trust the e-torque yet. I'm not alone, I've spoken to other Ram truck enthusiast and many also feel cautious about the e-torque.

Limited level 1 package has rear heated and ventilated seats which is on this truck. something the Laramie doesnt offer
I have a Laramie Sport and I just want to point out the only options you can’t get on a sport that the limited has is the air suspension, pano roof, adaptive cruise control, collision warning, and lane keep. Mine has everything this Limited does (including 12” screen” except these features I noted. Sticker was $59k and I got $11k off sticker.

Both very nice but too pricey for me. I'll stick with my 2015 Ram Bighorn 4x4.

Manual adjustable steering wheel on the limited? RAM are you kidding me? With a MSRP as high as that truck is, manual adjustable steering wheel is ridiculous. Everything should be all power.

Hi Ben, love these comparison videos. Would love to see a video that covers towing specifically with the different models. For instance, there seem to be some 1500s that will tow 11k lbs and some only 8k lbs and I'm not clear why that is. What engine/trim combo do you need to get the 11k lbs of towing and what's the max towing capability of a 1500? Also, am I correct that the 2500 w/Hemi gets you around 14k lbs of towing and the diesel around 18k lbs?
The Hemi equipped with the 3.92 rear end is what gets that 11,000+ lb tow spec. Most 1500 Rams are standard with the 3.21 diff specs at around 8,000+ lbs. A 3.92 is only a $95 option but its hard to find a dealer that orders them with it.
In Texas the Laramie and Limited prices overlap, mid $53k - $58k.

My 2020 low level Laramie lacks rear seat recline function. Nor can you release the rear seat backs. The Limited has limo-like rear seat recline which works well with the huge leg room. Pull down the middle seat back, reach in and there are pull strings to release the seat backs for hidden storage. Only thing I wish my Laramie had. Anyone know if it can be upgraded by the dealer?

I have a 2019 Laramie that I paid 44000 new and it has the 12 inch screen. Just couldn’t see paying the extra for the Limited.

The 22" wheels and the air ride alone is worth paying the extra for the limited. You didn't mention that as a factor. when you add those 2 its worth the price.

@@TheGera9999 I would if the ride on the 22" is too firm/rough. We have some seriously crummy roads where I live and the ride quality of a 20" tire is much nicer.

Was so excited about getting one of these but my brother works at Chrysler, dodge, jeep and ram dealership and said that Chrysler products are trash. He was a tech/diesel tech but now service advisor. Sucks because they’re so nice, just unreliable and terrible. Maybe just his dealership management? Thoughts anyone on reliability?
Had a new 2014 Bighorn for 4 1/2 years, zero problems (put 73K miles on it). Bought the new 2019 model Laramie in Sept. of 2018, have had basically zero problems (very minor), 38K miles on it. So I've been very happy with them for the last 8+ years. I don't work my trucks hard, but I love the ride ride in these Rams.

On the customer build web page, Ram doesn't show a Black Appearance Group for the 2020 Limited at this time. They do offer the Body-Color Bumper Group. Black Appearance is offered only for the Big Horn and Laramie. Dealers might have more options?

Swinging it rapidly back and forth makes it much harder to follow your viewpoint, we're not seeing with your eyes, we're seeing through your camera. The Laramie is a great value and the interior is almost identical except for the wood trim on the glove box.

gutierrezrita the Laramie does have real leather but it has the suede inserts also. I personally think the leather and suede combo looks better than the all leather anyway.
I actually did my own comparison between a Limited and a Laramie. Both 1500's and Crew Cabs. You video wasnt a real apples to apples comparison, let me tell you why. I was able to find a 2020 Limited 4x2 with options for about the same price ($50,146) as a 2019 Laramie 4x4 ($50,175) with comparable options as the Limited. With all in discounts and rebates by both dealers they both came to within a couple hundred bucks of each other making the 2020 Limited the better buy. One thing that I didn't know was that the limited had premium leather. The 4x4 and sunroof is about a $5000 option alone. If you can live without those two it lowers the price dramatically making it a bit more affordable.

What water leak issue? I have a 2019 with 21K miles and I haven't had a single issue with a water leak. The recalls have been minor stuff which was taken care of during my oil change.
The water leaks were from the 3rd brake light however the 2019s dont have the issue
2019 recalls were for a battery ground, adjustable pedals, and seatbelt pretensioners. Those should be resolved in the 2020. The water intrusion was a result of the third brake light gasket, and only affected the 4th gen models. There are two additional screws fastened to that lamp housing now, as well.
