- I'm back to my usual excuse for UA-cam content where I play a racing game and swap the music. Still Split/Second only this time it isn't Sonic Frontiers music, it's Metal Gear Rising Revengeance music. More specifically "It Has To Be This Way" aka Senator Armstrong's theme.
Why this song you may ask. Because I was wrecked by some "Armstrong" during my play session and the little light bulb in my hamster-powered brain lit up. And since it's the final boss theme of a beloved action game, it would be fitting to use the final race of Split Second too. And a bulky car for a bulky senator, the Hanzo Kanobo to be exact, part of the Split Second DLC imported to the PC version by the community. Because nanomachines, son.

I think battle music works so well with this game because it’s more of a battle than any other racer. Also Apple Arcade made a knockoff version of this a few years ago and I think that’s funny.
That game is so half baked too. It feels so unfinished
I'd actually pay good money for a "battle" racing game with this kind of music to back it up!

NFS, S/S, it doesn't matter. This guy rips through them all like a virtual Schumacher.
Edit: using this song while driving that car fits like a glove. A Heavyweight gas-guzzler is the quintessential car-ification of Armstrong: strong, heavy, immovable and definetly bad for the environment.

If Metal Gear Rising had a game like Mario Kart, I think it would definitely be Split Second: Velocity.

Uk ur actually giving me interest to play this game. Wat r your thoughts on it and is it worth it?
It's a really fun arcade racer with a surprising amount of depth to the driving since no one car handles the same. Doubly so if you know how to use power plays properly.
But be warned, the difficulty curve can be uneven and frustration can seep in really quick given the unforgiving AI coupled with rather unfair rubberbanding.
Next you should do rules of nature.
You could've just used the instrumental version until the last lap started. Great video nonetheless!

@@MariusUrucu If you don't mind the suggestion, you should go search up a 60fps patch for Split Second! It's out there and pretty easy to find, and will give you a way better playing experience.
