To make sure you mixed the luminal correctly, spray it on a penny. If the penny glows, you're good. Luminal reacts to the copper in blood, that's why it'll work with a penny.
TA B It doesn’t react with copper, it reacts with the iron in blood. our bodies contain very little copper. also, modern pennies made after the year 1983 contain only 3% copper so even if the luminal did detect copper, any given penny might not glow that much because only older pennies have high amounts of copper.
@@joeloftis9438 Luminol will also react to saliva, but the response will be weaker than blood. Should be noted that this chemical will produce a glow with animal blood as well.
As a forensic scientist I don't think they are blood stains. Some of the could be, but you would smell it. I don't want to say for sure though because there are more tests that would have to be done. But there definitely wasn't a shoot out.

luminol reacts with the iron contained in hemoglobin. This doesn't necessarily mean the stains that showed up were blood stains, just that they contained iron, coca cola and certain other soda drink brands contain small amounts of iron, roughly one tenth of a milligram of iron per 100 grams of soda in the case of coca-cola, more in others. The reasons for why the luminol in the front seat lit up vs why the luminol in the back seat didn't, diet or sugar free coca-cola contains very little to virtually no iron whatsoever, could be whoever sat in the front liked normal coke, and whoever sat in the back preferred diet or sugar free. As for whether any of it is blood, don't know, youd have to take it to a forensics lab to know for certain.
Next time you do a video using blacklight use liquid laundry detergent to write "Help" in the carpet or on a wall. You won't see it in daylight but it will light up under blacklight like an xmas tree!

So when the SUV got "repo'd", Sammy got "repo'd in it, if you know what I mean. Since Sammy wasn't around to make amends, it got sent to some auction place to help get back some of the debt Sammy left behind.

tonic water and energy drinks glow under black light ... even turnips glow under the black light. The iron in rust stains glows under luminol, there was probably a rusty tool stored under the backseat.
my 25 year old daughter when she was under 2, hit her head on our front step and got blood all over our just cleaned house light carpet, wife took her to the Doctors office that was closer than the hospital in the Van and they took her in the back door and stitched her up, blood all over the place. This happened while I was at work. Still think some of this is drinks, FYI one of my neighbors was killed getting out of his truck ( long story) the police confiscated the car for about a week and told his wife who to have clean it and it was cleaned completely , that is why I think this could have been some wound taken to the hospital in the back seat
If it was blood, etc. then when you cleaned it, it would have shown a smearing mess as you would have transferred the fluids around while scrubbing the carpet. I think the black light is reacting to the pigment color (or lack there of) of the carpet. My guess it was a coke spill and the citric acid in the coke stripped some of the color/pigment in the carpet fibers. If you have a similar color carpet (light tan, etc.) you can see the same kind of reaction from cleaners, etc.
If you ever do something like this again, I'd shine the black light on the spot, then spray it and then shine the black light on it again to see if there's any difference. But what I think you're seeing is carpet fibers that no longer have color to them (or a lighter color) that reacts to a black light.

As for the stain behind what I believe is the driver's seat that you sprayed the hydrogen peroxide on I would color match some carpet dye and just cover that up. This was a neat experiment. I have been looking forward to you doing this upload as well. I am not a forensic expert by any stretch either. The carpet dye sprays are great for stains in carpet, and as you probably know they even make color match sprays for your interior plastic parts such as molding and dash etc.
Because one was body fluid, the others were not. No matter how you clean it, the stain will retain its shape. I agree that someone most likely puked in the car, or was bleeding from an injury.
Cleaning tips from the past. Use hydrogen peroxide for blood. I believe it's less effective the older the stain gets. Ball point pen comes off with carbon tetrachloride. This is hard to get because it is bad for us, discovered in the last 45 years or so.
most likely a hunting /fishing rig and it's animal bloodstains. if it was a wreck you'd see body/frame damage. and it looks clean under, unless someone cut themself breaking the glass.
That stain on the wheel arch slightly behind the the left rear passenger seat seems to be consistent with blood. The drip pattern seems to come from a localized point above that area. Personally I think of a head slumped over the top of the seat with blood draining out. Could’ve been a suicide or a shootout like you mentioned. Few things react with luminol. Blood is one but it could react with fecal matter or even horseradish sauce lol. I highly doubt that stain was either of those. As unsettling as it is, that’s my best guess.
