FINALLY found someone to describe and SHOW exactly how to change pads. Got a little crazy with the last part there with all that crazy camera movement, but at least I got the jist of it. lol Very easy to change. Thx bro.
If you place that jack under the axle you won't be fully extended like that. And then put your wheel underneath your differential in case that jack kicks out. The diff will hit that wheel and hopefully stop it from crushing you. Just today I was using that jack and it kicked out while I was braking the lug nuts free. Don't forget to put some lube on the caliper slide pins. Also that inner bolt/pin your holding with channel locks is a 15mm. Thanks for the vid. Needed a reference on the thickness of the rotor as compared to my '09.
Were those rear brakes the stock ones? How many miles did you get out of pads? I have 2010 liberty with 71,000 miles on it and just now need's rear pads. Great vid thank you
Yes these were the rear stock brakes for my 2012 Jeep Liberty, and only lasted about 35k miles. I hope these new ones last a lot longer. I purchased my jeep from dealer ship with 22 miles on it, Im at 41k now. Thx for viewing.
Thanks for making this much appreciated
No problem
My man, thank you for the step by step details. It helps when you find dinnertime ergo knows what they're doing. Thx.

Couldn't find my C-Clap, thanks for the caliper wrench compression tip, Smart move.
i liked the way you used the box wrench to push the caliper piston back in that will save me a step of using the c clamp.

Wow not long at all.
did yours start squealing in reverse?
No they did not. did you put the grease on the back side of each pad, it prevents squealing, and squeaking.
I haven't done anything yet. I just bought this Jeep and I'm sure it needs rear pads.
when you get the pads ask for the grease.
will do. thank you!
Your wife is terrible, don't give her the phone again.
