if you are doing rear brakes, I didn't think you want to set the parking brakes. It only brakes the rear wheels and you won't be able to get the rotors off for replacement/machining.
This is a good video but several items need to be noted. 1) Wheel chocks - Using the parking brake is not a good idea. 2) Jack stands are much better than using the car jack for support. 3) Brakes pins are usually torqued to spec. 4) The lug nuts also need to be torqued. Uneven tightening is a common cause for rotor warping. Using "your body weight" is not a good measure for tightening.
Scott Goldenberg Cool thanks, yeah I’m not a mechanic, this is just how I did my own brakes and those are some very good points so the next time I do my brakes I’ll keep those points in mind.
as far as I could tell you did not change the abutment clips (end of pads sit in these clips, incised the caliper adapter plate)- your new pads should have come with new clips - the clips are directional - replace them one-for one with regards to orientation etc.
I just put a screw drive between the break pad and caliper to depress the pressure that way. It messes up the break pad, but so what? You're replacing it anyway.

Great video but make sure you are using grease suitable for the high heat in brakes to lubricate the pins. Cheers!
Great video buddy the funny thing is I have the same color Jeep make model everything is identical
Just put the wearever platinum ceramic pads on my 08 Liberty. Very easy installation
Didn't hear or see him say to loosen brake fluid reservoir cap
How long did it take in real time to get done?
xiDroP xBoDieZx if you have all of your supplies and tools ready to go, I’d say about an hour and a half
