Its pretty likely that they would build in Seattle because if they build in California they have a bunch of other parks to compete with and the closest "big" amusement park I can think of near Seattle is silver wood in Idaho.
Mate, I think that we’ve got confirmed theme parks for the UK, America, and Australia, which I think is actually awesome. If there’s more details, I’d certainly like to know, because Sega is really starting to make a true comeback! 👍
I'll take 'News you'd never think you'd hear' for 800...But seriously, this is either going to be Sega's grand return to prominence, or their demise tbh.
The closest thing to Sega Joypolis and their arcade centers in the US was Gameworks, a chain of arcade centers that was originally owned by Sega alongside with Dreamworks but has since changed ownership years later and only has a handful of locations are still operating. I'm still mad that they had to close down the one near me for an Under Armor store so hopefully with Sega's plans to expand Joypolis to the US, it could definitely fill in that void.
I can see the franchises being represented as follows: Sonic, Miku, Yakuza, Phantasy Star - to begin with. They'll opt for the bankable franchises first, ones which fans and even non fans will recognise and gravitate to.
As a big Puyo fan, I'd love to have some Puyo representation somewhere in these theme parks, even just a merch store since Puyo merch is sold all the time. As for locations, especially in America? Yo, put one here in New York City, or around this area, I'd be more likely to visit it when it's local.
What about Tetris? If Sega opened a theme park in New Zealand, Millen Baird might host Primetime Live, a Puyo Puyo and Tetris Competition for real cash prizes!
I know that it isn't a puzzle game, but some toejam and earl representation would be nice, although it is owned by a different company, they would need approval from humanature studios and toejam and earl productions, but considering 3 of the 4 toejam and earl games had Sega involved, it isn't completely impossible
I'm from Australia and I think they should have brought it up to Queensland on the Gold Coast somewhere as that's where we have all of our theme parks I definitely would have gone there
Texas or Florida seems like a likely candidate for a dedicated Sega space. Unrelated, there was a place I went to twice called Gameworks which was a semi-Sega endorsed arcade/restaurant (think Dave & Busters but sometimes a Sonic costume walks by you). It's not there anymore, it was replaced by a store.
For the UK, I think the perfect location would be London, and for the US, I think the perfect locations would be Florida, California, and New York. Also yes I will definitely hopefully try to be there if I can but probably not day 1 but much rather some other day just not when it opens. I'll definitely try the rides, arcade games, get exclusive merch, and if they have a restaurant, I'll do it!!
Universal Studios California and Universal Studios Orlando would be good spots. They both have Super Nintendo World. They can also do character meet and greets where guests can meet and interact with Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and Cream. Their's already two movies based on the series out with a third one being released on December 20.
This is how I will make the rides in this Sonic Park. There should be a ride for each character o group of characterts. 1. Sonic: The fastest coaster, like velocicoaster but at least 5 miles per hour faster. 2.Tails: Flying Tornado Simulator, fighting Eggman at the end. 3. Amy: Piko Piko Hammer that goes up and down at high heights. 4. Knuckles: A Giant Tower like Falcon'd Fury, because Knuckles climbs mountains. 5. Rouge: A Dark ride like revenge of the mummy with precious jewels as decoration. 6. Big The Cat: A water ride like Popeyes, but that last longer. 7. Shadow The Hedgehog: Another fast ride that rivals Sonic, the vehicle has to be his motorcicle. 8. Cream The Rabbit: A fast ride, but with big heights that takes you to a chao garden in the sky. 9. Blaze The Cat: A ride like everest, but instead of a mountain it should be a Castle, with Fire stuff, and Her ride should be like 55 mph. It should be one of the best of environment, like Harry Potter's Castle at Universal. 10. Silver The Hedgehog: A Simulator that takes you flying and time traveling. 11. Dr Eggman's SpaceShip: It should be a ride that is like Epcot's ball, but not that big. 12. The Chaotix: A scary and tensious simulator that takes you to solve a case. 13. Cosmo the Seedrian: It should be a garden to take pictures. 14. Shade the Echidna: She should have a simulator like the Harry Potter Escape From Gringotts, but fighting lord Ix and his elite Nocturns. 15. Sonamy Wheel of Fortune ride: It should be a not so fast, but not so slow ride that allows you to pick any music while you ride. 16. Infinite Simulator of Madness: This last ride (for now) should be a smulator that is half fake, half roller coaster. It should be in a car that fakes movements, and then it tranaforms to a real coaster, this would be the most crazy and intense ride after Sonic and Shadow because of its effects. It could also be more simpler and just work like Space Mountain of Magic Kingdom but faster.
02:32, HAHAHA! Epic yet dirty oof, they might have covered it up by now. Though... its apparently now in Sonic Docu history lmao, once a Sonic game references any inappropriate thing, there will always be bound to know and remember it lol. 😆 😅

The only reason i think they're building a park is because this went down... Mario: "Oh! Hello-a-Sonic! I haven't seen you for-a-few years! Good too see you!" Sonic: "Long time no see Mario! Still see you're still jumpin' around." Mario: "And I-a-see you're still the fastest! What have you-a-been up too?" Sonic: "uhm...... y'know... running." Mario: "oh... Well i built a Nintendo theme park! Thanks to Universal Studios!" Sonic: ("W-wha! This guy is building a park! Well.... if he can do it! I can too!") Sonic: "Whaaa get outta town!
