    Another excellent brief , and very well presented…. As with all your other ABNM PROC, the visuals of the ECAM PFD ND are vital, as they always say “ a picture tells a thousand words”

    Why would landing gear retraction be unavailable green hydraulic is available, shouldn't gears be retractable? Just an academic question... i I couldn't find the answer
    I am really grateful for super videos... your channel is one of the most underrated youtube channel... super content

      If you talk about gravity gear extension, the locks will prevent the gear from collapsing at the same time you will not be able to retract it.

      There is safety valve which will cut off green hydraulic supply to the landing gear system if aircraft is flying faster than 260kt, hence landing gear unable to EXT OR RET when above the speed . The speed input is from ADR 1 or ADR 3, therefore when ADR 1 + ADR 3 fault or off the safety valve is controlled closed.
      Hope this help but you need to refer with your instructor also.

    Could you provide clarifications on how to crosscheck which ADR's are faulty? Lets say we start with ADR1, we write down the readings on PFD1? and then ADR2/PDF2 and then ADR3/Stby Instruments or ... how? This part is rather confusing.

      Good question. You can refer to the table, given the pitch and thrust, what is the speed you are supposed to get.

      Are you already stabilized? If flight safety is impacted due to unreliable airspeed, go-around.

    If we cannot identify the affected ADR then in our MSNs QRH says keep one ADR on

    Cap what did you mean at 4:36 warning? Do not reject the adr??

      Do not reject the outlier ADR as it may provide the correct reading. It is possible that 2 ADRs provides false data.

    Hello capt, do you know what relation does ADIRS 1 have with the APU bleed? When ADIRS 1 is off/unavailable amber XX appear on APU page. Thank You

      @@Captain_SQ so this what I could find Capt, some variants have it for adirs 1 and some for adirs 2. The APU ECB and BLEED AIR pressure indication
      ALWAYS RELIES on the adirs 1 or 2 STATIC AIR source
      for DATA reference. The ecb also needs to know the ambient pressure for supplying bleed. This is all I could find

    If flaps is full -- flap 3 select and maintain….Why we select flap 3?

      To reduce drag and to not overstress the Flaps. Prevents Flap overspeed.

      Fcom ftcm says unreliable airspeed but QRH is not :)) what a standart!!
