It’s good to mention that flaps 3 is needed prior to the gear extension to let it trim for the approach, because after gear down you won’t have pitch trim at all.

Gs mini is not to allow the aircraft to have sufficient margin to not stall, it’s to carry extra speed to mitigate wind shear occurrences. GS mini carries more speed when upper level winds are higher than the tower reported ground wind.
