Hi,i have just the same heli( Lucky)but….the esc doet want to arm,stay flashing.and no reaction on the side stick!the gyro works perfect.what the do?Its a new heli,never fly.program on the tx16s…thanks!
Sounds like you need to do a throttle calibration. If you are running Set RPM and fixed endpoints then you’ll need to do the correct calibration. Look up Castle Creations Governor mode throttle calibration. You’ll basically set your throttle end points both too 40% and then cut the heli on while at full throttle. You’ll slowly raise the positive throttle percentage 1% at a time until the ESC beeps, then go two clicks past that. Then lower the throttle too 0 and do the same thing on the lower throttle endpoint percentage. Spektrum is typically 111 over 124 but I’m not sure with your transmitter.
I just picked one up it appears it was flown very little and needs some adjustments, I really need to find someone that knows these well to help me get it back where it should be, everything I know I have picked up online and reading, I guess we have a big hobby show coming in April here in Washington state, maybe someone there can help me out, I have a lot of hours on real flight and the older phoenix simulators, most my flying time was with a 450x. If you know anyway to get it setup back to how it comes when new please let me know? I still have the box so I can ship it, my tx is the Dx9?

I use a Spektrum DX9 & NX10, the flight controllers I use are either the AR7210BX or the 6250 paired with the 4651T receiver.
Nice video, thats an awesome heli!! Ok so I dont have a nitro rc plane and I would like to get one. What is a good nitro heli you would recommend??
If I were to build a nitro heli, I would probably go with the SAB Goblin Kraken 580. Tron also has a nice looking kit that is a little cheaper.

I would have to disagree about the gyro , who cares if you use the gyro on another heli , it's now your gyro .
