Reminds me of your early videos tasting durian in other countries and you said that philippine durian is the most creamiest and cheapest! hehe thanks for being so kind and supporting local delicasies! we love your raw random videos, a bit long, but not complaining hehe we watch in parts. all good!👌✌🇵🇭🇬🇧😎
Durian in Philippines is surely top class, on same level with Malaysia 🥰 but in Davao it was even cheaper which is good 👍🏼 Yeah a bit longer one this time, yeah I don't know maybe I need to make them shorter. That's why it's good to get feedback 🥰😊 I do appreciate it
@@Kevin-Travels Yeah, I enjoy the long videos! The guy who commented that it's long probably works in theater or TV, where people's attention spans are around 2 to 5 minutes per presentation, lol. Maybe the duration of clips matters-I'm not an expert. Overall, it's still content, so thank you for sharing your adventure with us today. Enjoy your day! It feels like we're walking along with you, especially since most of us are just couch potatoes and introverts, lol.
hey kevin yo bro, your getting more and more confident and very ease relaxed so at home vibes filming which makes it more natural! yah man not kidding! all good, keep 'em coming! ✌👌🇵🇭🇬🇧😎
Sorry just now I’m watching this vlog episodes I’m busy at work,, anyway I’m glad and happy watching your videos ❤❤❤just always take extra care while traveling 😍🇸🇦💚❤️🇵🇭😍
When you're back in Manila go to Star City, and also stay overnight at the Amana Waterpark Resort in Bagong Barrio,Pandi Bulacan. Hope you visit both of these places soon.
When a Filipino citizen engages in a conversation with a foreigner, it is because he or she can, and not because they expect a tip at the end. She was just being friendly, but you embarrassed her and apparently yourself as well.
Haha, I would say it was just a bit awkward 😁 yeah I didn't think she was expecting anything from me, I just wanted to surprise her. I think it's fun giving tip in places they don't expect it as much. Sometimes people are really happy for it, I can tell from experience 😊 but ofc sometimes they don't want to accept it because they never get tips, I don't think she have received tips neither so it was weird for her to accept it
The restaurant that you've gone to at 34:40 is generally for more than 1 person, that's why the fried rice that you ordered has a big portion, the fried rice is also supposed to be paired with another food, but I don't think you would be able to handle the big servings so it's really smart of you to switch up to the good old chowking 😂
I like this episode 🎉 Next up maybe you should try to visit Camp sabros near Mountain Apo at kapatagan, digos city. The food, fare and hotel there is very cheap
Hi Kevin…greetings from Seattle 🇺🇸. Kevin the durian lover 💙 yup you’re right not buying the pearl. I don’t like to buy any brand names ie Nike’s, Adidas, etc. in the 🇵🇭. I find it more expensive. Idk why they like to use so much plastics. The waiter didn’t know his menu pages I wonder if he’s new? He could’ve suggested the rice with a dish. Who eats rice by itself? I always eat rice with a dish. I agree with you on choices of teas. My go2 everyday tea is matcha green tea made in Japan 💚. Filipinos not into hot tea, they prefer sweet iced tea. ChowKing is a Filipino/Chinese and it’s affordable. You don’t need to tip the fast food restaurant server. I wouldn’t go2 to the 1st Chinese resto you went first, not authentic. I like ChowKing halo2 but Razons halo2 taste better. Take care Kevin 🙏
Haha durian lover indeed🥰❤️ I try always to reduce plastic by atleast not taking bags i would have to throw to rubbish after 5minutes.. feels such a waste I think it was language barrier too with waiter, but yeah it would have been excellent if he recommended me that set.. sadly I didn't see it myself.. my own fault Yeah Filipinos love icetea, it's good, but I thought in Chinese restaurant I would get some hot tea..Chowking was pretty nice 👍🏼 I have to give Razons halo halo a try too then🥰
Next time you're at a Chinese restaurant just order Kung Pao chicken over rice. drop a few dashes of soy sauce on the rice, and you got a great meal! ask them for hot tea too.
I don't usually listen to the recommendation of the waiter or food server. Oftentimes, they will serve you products that are about to get expired from their fridge. It's a technique in most restaurants. That's why I don't listen to them. Sorry. I will always read menus word-for-word, especially the ingredients. Also, I eat only what my stomach is craving for that particular day. Btw, when it comes to Chinese food, I always buy "Steam Rice" (sometimes 2 orders). Next is "Siomai" & "Dumplings."
welcome to davao! ask for the better price in different store cos it depends on the store and where they bought it from. bless your travels. please don't be scammed 😂
If you're going there this January 2025 it is their sinulog festival, cebu city is one of the historical place as well in our Philippines history, there is also sanctuary, the Santo niño basilica Church, Fort San Pedro , sutukil is a seafood restaurant and you can order fresh seafood and they will cook for you, I'm going back there 2025 after I'm done with all my personal stuff 😊

China is very large and diverse and not everyone actually drinks tea with their main meals. Depends on where you go. Many just drink hot water.
