Yooo, thanks for the review 😎🙏, glad you liked it.
Love your in depth comments about how this is a true pro model!
yo AS...thanks for an
awesome review. This going to be my next deck.
So stoked to hear your review. I couldn't wait for the review and bought one 3 weeks ago. Was going back and forth between this and the Ejack, and by the sounds of it I'm gonna be glad I went with the Rasman!! Resorts haven't opened here yet so it will be a couple weeks before I get to ride it on our trip to Colorado Thanksgiving week. From your review it sounds like exactly what I was looking for. Time to boost side hits, lay trenches and hold the throttle WFO
Even if it's not for me it's great to hear about a board with some juice, some vibe and purpose instead of the 'meh more of the same'.
I can’t stop laughing Avran. We can jump a whole family of seven with this board? Lmao!
Yes
I solely rely on your reviews for snowboards, quality content my friend.
Liberatchi technologies! Cool, never knew. I thought liberation, liberty, who knew😎thanks…
Are you doing a review on the Rig? Thanks
So, the beef jack knife 😎
Yo Angry, thanks for the review. At your spec, how did you feel about the 157?
Ideally for more pow I'd have liked a bigger size but for everyday use 57 is my go to.
My daily driver this yr after i split the edge on my trusty trice pro
Good review!.. Whats the different between this C2 Rasman Snowboard Xtreme Riding ROCKER Hybrid vs C3 Gnu Antigravity Choice??? -- WIch one is Better?
If you would look at what you just wrote you pretty much just answered your own question.
Which one would be better daily/resort board GNU Hyper or Lib Tech Rasman? Thank you.
Either honestly. Just sort of comes down to what you want out of the deck.
i ride the 2021 version of the Rasman and it is really how you say: „it’s gonna force you to be a better rider“. If you try to manhandle it, it really manhandles you back😂 It’s going fast, it pops you to the moon, it’s fun carving and pow-turning, and it feels always stable and damp. I got it in 161 and it feels like a flagship. I rode it with a Burton Mission but for this season I got the Ride C-8 bindings which should be stiffer, the Missions will go with a 2022 Amplid Ticket that i just bought.. can’t wait for snow to test it all out👍🏼
do you like this or the Gnu Hyper more for a kind of do it all board? 😊
Both.
Well shit. I was eyeing up the Dynamo as a 3rd deck to round out my quiver (2018 Slush Slasher, 2021Jackpot). *I've been shoehorning the Slush Slasher into an all mountain roll and have been happy at how versatile it actually is.
Now I need something damp for my bone on bone grinding arthritic ankles, but also want to boost to the moon.
Thoughts? Not too much quiver overlap with adding the Ras into the mix?
It fits with what you have and would make a nice compliment. If you got that bone on bone hopefully you got aftermarket insoles and are taking some kind of supplement for your joints.
@@AngrySnowboarder Thanks. I've got the Shred Soles in my boots and thinking of upgrading to the Remind - Cush Impact high arch insoles.
I don't know much about supplements. Just making my own bone broth for the collagen and eating high copper foods like sardines to help with absorbsion. Also taking turmeric for inflammation. It's hard to tell if either of those are working or not.
They take time to work. I'd also do a glucosamine with chondroitin as well as a collagen peptide. This is what's been saving my knees for the last few years but it took a bit of trial and error to find the stuff that did work with my body.
Yo Angry, wondering on sizing, I'm 180lbs, size 10 boot, 5'11, should I go 157 or 159? I already have a pow dedicated board.
Dealers choice.
Hey Avran how is this board compared to XV signature model?
I wouldn’t.
Please read:
I'm 6'2 size 12 and 240lbs. I already have a playful board and a powder board. I'm looking for a stiffer hard charging stable board to mobb through anything at high speed... stuck between this, the BSOD, or the ultra flagship... based on my specs which will be the best one for me? Thinking of 159 or 161 on all of them... let me know, and I'll purchase through your link today. Thanks for the help...
Honestly the Ultra is probably what you want that thing is super damp which will help you with plowing through choppy terrain. 61 still seems a little small though.
@@AngrySnowboarder I believe the next size is 162w and 165w... you thinking 65?
62w minimum but 65w is probably more what you need.
5’11” 205lbs 9 boots currently on a older lib tech c2x TRS 157. Feels like I’m too much for that board at higher speeds and steeper terrain, or the board has gotten softer. Would you go 159 or 161 in this board? Thanks!
I'd go to a different camber profile.
Something like the Lib Rig or the eJack in the Mervin line?
Bingo!
Hey Angry, how does this one compare to the Lib Tech Lib Rig and the BRD?
The Rig is the BRD replacement.
@@AngrySnowboarder alright, thx!!
@@AngrySnowboarder I already have the Gremlin, carves great especially on hardpack. Would the Lib Rig be too much of an overlap with it or a great addition as a daily driver?
@@t.blaschke7461 Maybe.
Is Rome dod too little binding for this board?
No.
Is the sintered base on this any better than the other mervin bases?
Just go take it to a shop and have them add a little structure, you'll thank me later.
@AngrySnowboarder exactly what I needed to know. Thanks!!
Now I'm starting to wonder if buying this board to ride Big Snow in NJ was a mistake (that's an indoor hill with one quad open all year).
Been to the dome once before, fun place. Go shred.
@@AngrySnowboarder Right on.
how similar is it to a t rice pro?
It's not this is a completely new design.
Hey man. I have a 21/22 Mercury 157 that I ride in VT and NH. Im 6'1", 180 lbs, size 12 Burton Rulers. I am an above-average rider, and love to charge hard when I am not teaching my 11yo daughter how to ride. I was thinking either this, a Dynamo, or Double Dip maybe for a more powder/even-harding-charging all-mountain stick. Which would you recommend, and in what size? Definitely want to go with a Lib Tech. Could I still mount Cartels on whichever board you recommend, or should I go with something else? Thoughts?
I'd go Dynamo personally. Mount em up.
@@AngrySnowboarder what size you thinking? I was thinking maybe 162 for the deeper powder days?
62 seems kind of big since you're on the east and only want to charge when you're not with your daughter.
this board and Golden Orca are both c2 and from Lib tech. Are these two board similar?
No.
Grabbed a 57 Rasman this year and absolutely love it. Just like Avran described , it’s a great be-all, do-all mountain ripper (minus the park features but jumps are fun). ❄️🏂🤙
Would union forces or atlas be a better binding for this board?
Strata or Falcor probably.
I know this is an older video but can you tell me if you recommend it for someone who just learn on how to get in their toes? I’m 6ft 200lbs
NO!
@@AngrySnowboarder thank you for your honest reply. Have a great day
@@AngrySnowboarder can I ask just one more, how about the Salomon assassin pro? I’m not bad but still learning. I rather have your honest feedback.
@@andrelbarragan7450 NO! Why are you picking more advanced level boards, you're just hurting yourself.
@@AngrySnowboarder honestly just looking at something in between so I don’t have to purchase another one in another year. Don’t have those kind of find you know. But I appreciate you. I’ll keep away from them.
